Nice option
I've been for a quick lunch a couple of days ago. I definitely recommend the place. The ambience is nice and cosy. I like the decorations and the small open kitchen, where you can see the chef prepare your food. Food wise, the quality is good, but I wasn't as impressed as I thought. Service fast professional and very nice. It's definitely not my last visit. There are plenty of options to give a try.
Be the first to ReplySimply Fabulous!
Myself and my partner went to Rabbit to sample the tasting menu. The service was fabulous, staff were attentive and informative. The food was superb, tasty, nutritious and exciting. What a great way to spend a birthday!

Attended for tasting menu this evening. Had flagged beforehand this was for anniversary but no special mention was made at all. We were on a table so small I (a size 6 woman) could barely squeeze in and out of. It was a bit absurd. The food was good (I wouldn’t go further than that), but it would be stretch to say it was seasonal. We went to the sister restaurant The Shed last June and had *identical* courses. The pudding was the main difference. Service was poor. We went for the wine pairing with the tasting menu but, first, they brought out a pairing after we had finished the course, and then they got the pairing with the wrong course. They came over and explained they would give us a free dessert wine to compensate. We were happy with this. Except they never actually delivered on this promise. The main event took an absurdly long time to come out. 25 minutes is not exactly acceptable for a tasting menu course. No one bothered to apologise for the wait either. We were not offered teas or coffees to finish. Not exactly a memorable experience. We had fond memories of The Shed which is why we chose this for a memorable occasion. Was extremely disappointed to find everything out of balance. We did not pay the service charge because, ultimately, I was embarrassed they had put it on the bill. They were clearly trying to compensate with the offer of an extra glass, but that means nothing when they failure to deliver on it.
Be the first to ReplyPoor - very disappointed - Rabbit you need to step up!
Appalling. I had been to Rabbit twice before (last year) and had a lovely dinner with my partner. Cuisine had been on point - service was good - prices a little steep but - in all - a good experience. Last night, inspired by the previous times, we had another couple join us. The night couldn't have gone worse. In charge of our table was a girl on her first day as a waitress. We ordered two Cigar Venison as starters for two (£10 each), and obviously were hoping to get back something plentiful. After 45 minutes, a plate arrived with two macaron sized 'cigars'. We looked at each other in disbelief - whas this supposed to be a starter for two? We laughed. They were ok - after 10 minutes, two other of these plates arrived, but then the waitress came back and - all confused - said she had made a mistake and took one away. The embarassement was just starting. We decided to relax and continue our dinner. Our mains were supposedly on the way. In fact, they were one hour away. In the meantime, several requests by us were made but the waiters would completely forget (we asked for a wine list and she never came back to ask us the wine we wanted). When the mains arrived, they arrived all at different times, whilst the two sides of potatoes arrived basically when we had finished the mains. The mains were ok - but the side of brussel sprouts was literally uneatable - something Gordon Ramsey would have quite probably spat out - too much garlic and too much mustard. We then ordered desserts - being the only table left along with another in the restaurant, we would have imagined that we'd get them right away. 20 minutes later, no desserts had come. I went up to the manager, who was probably in his early 20s, he was texting on his phone sitting on a table. I told him about the desserts and the team about the atrocious service - they got defensive. The chocolate cake was also quite terrible. In all, a poor experienced. Understaffed, on the defensive, unattentive. Rabbit, you need to step up!!
Be the first to ReplyCan't recommend this place highly enough ... Love it!!!
Food, service and ambience were just fantastic ....we had the special January menu which had a course that contained crab... I have an intolerance to crab and this was not an issue at all and was substituted with a delicious scallop course... Tom and Anna were really attentive and lovely! Thank you so much for making our evening so relaxing and fabulous... Xx

Such a wonderful experience! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The atmosphere is more than cozy! Staff are extremely knowledgeable and cares about your experience. Upon arrival we met the manager who made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Thank you Tom! The food made by the Chef Domenico was absolutely amazing - every single thing we tried was beautiful. Attention to detail is extraordinary. Choose anything from mushroom eclair, scallops, fish or local meats, you will be surprised! Try their local Sussex wine as well. *Bonus - with an open kitchen where the magic is happening! You will be amazed how much love is put in every plate. ❤️ I wholeheartedly recommend this dining experience, a culinary journey that captivates the senses and surpasses expectations. An absolute must for people who love gooood fooood! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Nice decor, reasonably good food, priced more for the location than the culinary ability, be prepared to be ‘moved on’ regardless of how much you spend - they are table rotation zealots
Be the first to ReplyExpensive disappointment.
Very disappointing. Tables crammed too close; domed base made ours uncomfortable to sit at. Service slow but friendly and did make attempts to deal with a food intolerance. We ate from the ‘Christmas’ menu: poor value of variable quality. My venison was mainly gristle, as was the replacement sent when we complained. This didn’t merit any adjustment to the bill however. Wines pleasant but ridiculously expensive. What should have been a lovely evening with our family turned out a great let-down.
Be the first to ReplyDay menu is a winner.
Walked in for an impromptu lunch and opted for the express 4 course lunch menu at £35 a head. What a bargain! Every morsel was absolutely delicious, highest quality ingredients and beautiful presented. The staff were friendly and the ambiance smart but unpretentious.
Be the first to ReplyJust not worth going to!
My wife and I went to Rabbit on a Thursday evening without a reservation. We were shown two tables that they could seat us at. The one table was in front of the food preparation area the other table near the bar. We decided to sit on the side near the bar. The table and the bench seating were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat at in a restaurant. The table was too high and the benches were offset to one another so I could not sit directly across from my wife. Our server was pleasant. She helped us with the menu and wine selection and also addressed my wife’s allergy concerns. I ordered the mushroom marmite éclair, Braised Venison and Brussel Sprouts. My wife ordered the Bread, Venison and Salt Baked Potatoes. We also ordered a carafe of Rabbit Red wine, which was a nice wine. The bread and the mushroom éclair came to the table quickly but we had to ask for the wine about 20 minutes later. The mushroom éclair was a taste treat. We then noticed that our table was next to the dish washer/cleaning station and then listened to the dishwasher. About one hour into not having our meals and our server never checking in on us to see how we were doing. We had to ask about our meal. She told us that she would check but the venison had been a popular order for the night and the kitchen was backed up. Ten minutes later out came the Brussel Sprouts and the Salt potatoes and another ten minutes after that our venison. The venison was cooked rare which was fine but my wife’s venison was actually cold on the inside and not even cooked rare. It was so tough she could not actually eat it. I ate her cold venison. The Brussel Sprouts were not very good and the best part of the meal were the salt potatoes. Go find another place to eat in Chelsea. Rabbit did not deliver a quality dining experience!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food
An interesting menu that may not appeal to everyone. We found most of the food delicious. Be sure to check the menu before going. The atmosphere is cozy, quirky and cute. Take your patience with you to dinner. The service, although well meaning, was less than desirable.
Be the first to ReplySmall portions but delicious
It is a nice restaurant with lovely staff. The reason I gave 3 stars is mainly due to very high prices versus super small sized portions. It is not a Michelin star restaurant. Paying £27 for a pan fried tiny stone bass (slightly bigger than a standard match box size) with 3 small brocollis is not really the experience I expected. I gave the same feedback. Otherwise, taste is good, friendly waiters.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Sunday Roast in Chelsea!!
Brought a friend to try Sunday Roast for the first time and she was not disappointed!! The food is amazingly well-cooked! The Yorkshire pudding was the best I had in London so far!! The service was equally lovely. Sarah was especially helpful and had great recommendations. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend for a nice Sunday in Chelsea!

Really well looked after: walked in to give notice of late arrival and the front-of-house manager was accommodating, despite having little flexibility for my new time. When we did arrive and eat, the service was fantastic by our waiter team, led by Chance.

Came here for a casual dinner with a friend. Thank you for a lovely experience, Sarah was very helpful! Will certainly be back!
Be the first to ReplyGood concept but disappointing execution
The whole concept of Rabbit being local and wild is lovely but sadly the execution was very much lacking. My friend and I visited on a Friday evening and selected the tasting menu which was priced at £68pp, more than stated online. When we arrived we were the only customers in the restaurant and so we were well attended to but by the end we had almost been forgotten about. The food was disappointing, lacking imagination and often flavour. The worst dish we were served was without doubt the dessert which was literally dark chocolate buttons, a whipped cream which was verging on split and some flavourless poached rhubarb. I don’t think I have ever been served a less exciting and interesting “dessert” if you could even call it that. Whilst I understand that a tasting menu is meant to be small portions, I think here the sizes were beyond small. I had to have food when I got home. In addition, it was strange that despite the restaurant not being full everyone was being seated next to one another which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere as we were all so close to one another! Overall, I left feeling hungry, disappointed and like I had been cheated due to the cost of the menu. Nonetheless, there were some positives. The cocktails were expensive but delicious, especially the peach and rose cup! Additionally, the mushroom marmite eclair and the langoustine dish was delicious. I would add that the other customers in the restaurant who had ordered other food were served decent sized portions and so I would go for something off the a la carte menu instead if I were to return.
Be the first to ReplyMother daughter dinner
My mother and I visited Rabbit in Chelsea for dinner on a casual weekday. I had never been but was keen on trying it out. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the room and the warmth and originality of the space. Chance, who was taking care of us, was very thoughtful and made sure we would enjoy our meal by making suggestions and asking questions to understand what it is that we were looking to experience. I was very happy he came back to us and kindly “insisted” on the beetroot chocolate cake - which ended up being the highlight of our dinning experience. Food wise I would suggest the mushroom eclair, the rabbit bread (but add a little salt on the butter) and of course the star which is the beetroot chocolate cake. Thank you for having us and giving us a beautiful night of conversation, yummy food and wine.

Be the first to ReplyPleasant haunt in a good location.
Lovely restaurant with good service and a varied menu. In addition good playlist so makes it an even better experience. Mozarella and Chorizo are great starters. I highly recommend.

The food was fresh, delicious, and artistically presented. The meal was made even more delightful by the friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful place to spend an evening tasting an assortment of delectable dishes.
Be the first to ReplyLovely time
The dining room was really cute, original deco. Sharing style, small dishes, loved the sea bream tartare. I think there is a find for everyone, depending on your palete. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Small treasure on Kings Road. It’s a shame I didn’t take any pics, but go and see it for yourself!
Be the first to Replyalways a fun culinary experience!
Original and tasty bite size dishes like mushroom marmite éclairs and whipped cod’s roe, tarama in other words! The salt baked potatoes are exceptional. The music was sometimes too loud...
