While it's true that appointments are technically not transferable, for DMV Appointments the transfer service is included for buyers at no cost. Brilliant location for drinks in the sun. Arrived at our booking early sat eve and were allocate a great table in sun. Drinks were great and we ordered a few small plates as well.

Don’t bother - there are so many better places in London

I’ve been to quite a few rooftop bars in London and this isn’t one that I would recommend to anyone - there are much better places to go that don’t look down on people and think they are more than they are. We arrived to celebrate my friends last day in London, dressed nicely - we wanted to give them a proper send off. I had enquired beforehand about getting a table with a view. We were told we were given an outside table yet when we got there we were inside, next to a curtain. Clearly they had profiled us when we walked in and decided we weren’t worth the effort. When we asked to move we were told no as there were no tables allowed with a view but there were some outside that were never occupied for the 45 minutes we stayed (we didn’t even stay the whole time because the experience was awful). Service took a while for four basic drinks (beer and wine) and VAT wasn’t included in the prices, which is just misleading and doesn’t make much sense. When we were calculating splitting the bill, the server got cross with us and it was obvious that he just wanted us to leave.

The worst customer experience with the rudest staff. Booked during the UK 'heatwave' and requested on my booking for an outdoor seat. Upon arrival the staff seated us inside and when we asked to sit outside she rolled her eyes and said that wouldn't be possible.
We asked two other members of staff during the evening who both seemed very stressed and claimed it wasn't possible as outdoor seating was 'first come first serve' (not true as there were plenty of empty tables).
The staff were all very highly strung and stressed (confusing as the place itself was only half full).

We ended up leaving early as the atmosphere was off, the staff were beyond rude and we were made to feel small. It really did ruin what could have been a nice experience. Upon reading the similar reviews on here, there is a pattern with their customer experience.

Would never ever go back and do not recommend this establishment at all. There are plenty of other rooftops in London. Don't waste your time or money.

Fab vibe and staff

Surprise visit for mum and dad as they don't really get to experience rooftop bars, our waitress (long gingery hair) was really pleasant and helpful with menus and even treated my mum to a cake to celebrate birthday 🎉

Then we was greeted by Derek who was kind enough to point out the main features of the London sky line and ask us about life up north

Appalling staff aattude

We booked a table weeks ago as we were in London for Mother’s Day. Arrived on time but were told that all outside tables were taken and could not be booked. We asked if we could move if one became available and was told there would not be one available. We were shown to a table with high stools and noticed that there was a table outside that was free. We asked to sit outside at the available table but were told we could not(even though you cannot book one). Rude staff so we left and took our money with us and bought our champagne elsewhere

Terrible service

Booked a table for 12:15 on a Friday for my girlfriends birthday. Lovely weather with great views and a nice layout of the bar. The service however was awful. Considering we only had the table for a 1 hour 30 minute time slot, we were seated and it was at least 20 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order from us. Once we had finished those drinks I would have expected someone to come and take another order. After waiting about another 15 minutes I had to actually wave someone over who took the drinks order, only for the drinks not to arrive before the end of our time allocation and having to leave the table. I then went to pay and found that the second round of drinks that never arrived were charged to my bill. I obviously didn’t pay for those and asked for the service charge to be removed. I then spoke to the manager about the poor service and he didn’t seem at all bothered. I would not recommend this place, there are other nice roof top bars in London with much better service.

super slow service - mediocre food - strange vibe

We had a table booked for 7 o’clock on a thursday evening we arrived and the lady by the lift said to wait a few mins down stairs before going up as our table wasn’t ready yet. Fair enough. We eventually went upstairs and our table wasn’t even ready yet, waited another 10 mins before been seated at our table. The waitress did come over pretty quick and take our order, but i think we actually waited 20 mins for our drinks to arrive at the table. We then ordered food, which I think they must of only been doing one menu. The food was mostly good, although the tomato bread thing tasted of nothing. The thing I felt with this place is I don’t think they’ve really worked out their ‘vibe’, the music was weird and honestly the smell they were pumping through the room just smelt like toilet cleaner. Think just because they have a rooftop people will come and just pay for it and don’t put in much effort in other aspects of the business. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt though maybe we just went on a bad night. But I won’t be returning.
There are better places to visit in London.

Absolutely appalling!! Full of wannabes!! My fiancee went to the toilet and there was a man inside the ladies using drugs, security rushed in to remove in!! We removed ourselves from this venue immediately this place does not have a GOOD vibe!! Unclean and scruffy!! Awful!!

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money. Service dreadful. Full of noisy and underdressed 18-35's. Toilets were blocked in the ladies. No-one came to our table for drinks and food order. Food choice is poor and overpriced. We walked out. The only thing this place has going for it is the view. And there are other places with a better skyline in London.

Very meh all round, left for 20 minutes no greeting, no acknowledgement. We finally tried to move to the bar and they said we couldn’t, even though it was empty all night, saying they weren’t serving from the bar counter whilst a person sat there at the bar drinking? We asked for ice never arrived, water never arrived. The waiter was over worked obviously but the other waiters didn’t seem to care for us, and we’re not hospitable. I know we weren’t in their section but there was no teamwork. We paid the bill quickly after our first drinks because of the service and went somewhere else. All round for the price of 18 a cocktail I would be expecting better service.
Mediocre end to the night.

my wife booked for myself and my 15 year old daughter for a special dinner while staying in London.
We arrived at 7.40, went to the bar restaurant to be walked to a small table for 2 and fitted 3. But we were placed in a far corner right next to a table of 12 and i mean inches away.
Our waiter was fun but immediately we noted he was covering too many tables, and delays on drinks and food were already being mentioned.
we ordered our food after 20 mins, then waited, waited and waited until 8.50 before we saw the starters.
The Asian fusion style food was good, but nothing spectacular and my wife had a nut allergy, yet the kitchen took no notice of this request.
Main courses arrived at 9.30 and one of the sides was forgotten and drinks were delayed again. Quite a few tables were complaining now.
We decided to leave without desert as we were tired of waiting and without enough people, this place was struggling. The evening was wasted.

On departure, my wife and daughter spent a while trying to locate the toilets, but when they did, 3 of 4 toilets were out of order! A nightmare as a queue was forming.
For a restaurant bar, thinking it is up there with the best in London, it was not good and apart from the looks of the venue, management urgently needs to deal with its staff issues and poorly organised kitchen.
Covid is one reason for everything, but when you are a 5 star rated location, pay the staff and organise them better!
I do not recommend this place as an eating venue and perhaps things may improve as a bar when they open up the covers to the amazing view of London.

Romantic Dinner

I booked Radio for my Boyfriend’s 27th bday, wasn’t sure about the quality of the service as some bad reviews made me uncertain, once we arrived at 8 pm the venue was slightly busy, we got a nice golden table under the heating and felt really good and looked after, even if as everyone I booked a table with a view, in that side of the terrace they only had 3 tables next to the windows but we still could see a lot, the cocktails were good and flavored and the ribeye was really tasty, also my boyfriend is celiac and the waiter who served us took extra care about this topic, service was a little bit slow, probably because of very demanding customers around us, every time we tried to place an order our waiter seemed very busy trying to accommodate peoples requests (many people bothered him for pictures, complained and asked to be moved because they wanted the best view… ) and so on, really annoying, a part of this we enjoyed, and the homemade cake with a candle on the house was a nice touch, this is all a couple need to enjoy a romantic dinner.

The Best Service I have ever had!

The negative reviews puzzle me based on my wife and I's expeerince Friday evening, 11th February.
First of all the fit-out and ambience of the restaurant is perfect. Views of London stretching from The City to the left, past The Shard, to teh London Eye, Big Ben and a glimpse of Parliament to your right.
The food was well prepared and tasty (Calamari starter and a perfectly cooked medium Rare Ribeye Steak if you are interested).
The service was exemplary. The staff seem to be aware of - and servicing - all tables. We felt that the ones in our section were all interested in all the patrons having a good time and good service. Genuinely I have never seen that style of service elsewhere and it works well here.
I see Monica has had positive comments in other reviews and I can understand why. She took the time to offer us a tour of the balcony to get views and pictures, and took a few for us herself. My perception was of someone proud to work there and keen to show why.
Sure, I can understand the comments about price...this is a premium location...but is £120 for two people to have two courses each, a cocktail, a premium Rum and a massive glass of wine really all that bad? It is a special place for couples or friends to meet and I tell you what, we will be booking again as soon as we have the chance to go down to London's theatre land again!
We'd booked with Open Table and ticked that it was our anniversary...the guys brought a cake out, which was a lovely unexpected touch. I just cannot believe the negative reviews, and can only think they may be from competitors, or maybe people who just booked the wrong kind of place for what they wanted.

Disappointing Food and Awful service from Apathetic Staff

So Disappointed ! Was here for a very special occasion on Sunday last .Atmosphere was initially good as the view was spectacular but restaurant was freezing We alerted staff and they offered to turn on heat but they forgot , it was eventually done on third time We arrived on time for reservation but somehow it took an hour to get our drinks starter arrived another hour Later which I must say a seafood platter and was delicious ,However the main course was Roast beef which I asked for medium rare it arrived and I can only describe it as inedible hospital food I’m a Nurse this was supposed to be a break for me from the latter We ate a little of food as at this point we had enough And we were starving We did complain when we were leaving But it fell on The deaf ears of the apathetic staff

Food here is as good as a work canteen with only a deep fat fryer.
We arrived on time for our reservation, it took an hour for our drinks to arrive, another hour for a starter and our mains were Beef Sunday Roast - medium-rare. - It was well done, and cold, no gravy and veg were overcooked and cold too. We should have sent it back but after waiting for 2 hours for the food we were starving. We did complain on leaving but it was ignored.. This was to be a special occasion but it turned out to be a very unpleasant one. We were visiting London for the Weekend. So Dissappointed .

Rude staff and incompetent

We have been here many years ago and had a good experience, this time however...
We were seated outside in front of a bush so couldn't see a thing (£100 reservation fee for a view of a bush) also no music outside so dire atmosphere,
Got moved inside but not with lack of judgement and making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Took 30 MINUTES to be served - 30 minutes!! It was a quiet afternoon, ordered bottle of Bollinger then was told it was sold out, why aren't you prepared on a Saturday afternoon?
Staff look down on you for some bizarre reason, door lady was rude.
All in all i wouldn't waste your time and money, its gone down hill, probably used to all the influencers and prefer to cater to them.

I highly recommend this service. Reservations sell out in minutes as they become available at this restaurant. I was able to get a table at the exact time we wanted, on a peak weekend night. Amazing!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
