This dim sum place was very nice with a cool laid back ambiance. We went here to get dinner prior to heading to a play. We got to try quite a few things. The soup dumplings were amazing with a very rich flavor. We loved the Pac Man dumplings which all came with slightly different flavors. The noodles which came with the roast duck were perfect.

Delicious Chinese food, many interesting dishes both traditional and uniquely updated. Great staff, cute cozy environment and tasty treats. We had quite a collection of different dishes and they were all served hot, interestingly prepared and pretty to look at:-)

This place is great! At first glance, it looks a bit like a tourist trap, but the ambiance is nice, the service is friendly, it is extremely clean, and the food is very good. Recommend this place for sure!!
Be the first to ReplyThe food is quite good but the pricing is obnoxious.
We were charged ยฃ5 for tap water.

Be the first to ReplyDo you want to stay home for dinner? Or do you want to go
Do you want to stay home for dinner? Or do you want to go out and feel like you are at home? ย I have got the place for you. ย This has to be the most quaint and homely restaurant I have been to in awhile. The Red Farm brings you the warmth and love of being home. ย From the white washed brick walls to the hardwood floors. Further the staff makes you feel like you are a member of the family with the warmth of their welcome. Covent Garden in London has this gem of a place but let's keep it between us family we don't want all the family members taking over :- ย OMG for starters please try the PAC Man Shrimp Dumplings. I promise you will desire more. The soup dumplings were simply amazing. I love the idea of drinking the soup through a straw before devouring the dumplings. Now the main course. Prawn and black cod skewers and the Wilde rice noodles with roast duck. Just wake me and tell me I am not in heaven because I think I am. The spicy prawn awoken and cleared my sinuses. Thank you. The duck is so flavorful that I was tempted to order more. However greed is a sin and I have committed sins. ย I will be coming back and back again.

Had three chillis chicken, prawn skew fried rice, and Szechuan chilli fish & prawn. The taste is nice, fish and chicken are tender. They also provide Asahi. The server is friendly, and the restaurant allows dog as long as there is enough space for her.
Be the first to ReplyI had the most amazing time here.
It's a little inconspicuous place at the edge of covent garden and if you walk Rok fast, you just might miss it! The size is a little small, but that's to be expected in London. They have an upstairs, most likely used for larger parties. We sat in the center table, so during our meal, we kept getting pummeled by servers and passers by. It was slightly annoying, but the food more than made up for it! We had everything we could, dumplings, cheeseburger egg rolls, foie gras and strawberry, scallion pancakes, pork belly, and I can't remember what else. Everything was delicious. The only thing I could say I wasn't wowed by was the foie gras and strawberry tart. I love foie gras, but it can be hit or miss depending on the prep and combo. This is basically a dessert. The strawberry tart itself was wonderful, but the combo with the foie gras wasn't it for me or my friends. Everything else was phenomenal, right down to the Pac-Man dumplings. Our fave was the cheeseburger spring roll. My only regret is not going back before I went home. Hopefully the NYC location has a similar menu.Sidenote: our server was Matt and he was amazing. Thanks, Matt!

We arrived 30 minutes early where we were greeted by someone other than the hostess. He happily sat us down right away. It did take the server about 10 minutes to ask us for our drink order. The Jasmine tea was superb. We ordered 5 things of which 1 was off the specials menu. First up, the pokรฉmon dumplings, these were mediocre at best. they weren't hot and the fried sweet potato was soooo greasy.Next the chicken dumplings - the flavor was definitely there and there was like a pepper mushroom succotash accompanied the dumplings, i did enjoy this. Next we got the soup dumplings, these were OK. they came with a straw, i felt that was very gimmicky i also felt that there should have been more than 2 per order. Soup flavor was good, not great. Then we got the pastrami egg rolls, these were delicious but again overly oily from the fryer. My mom asked the hostess for extra sauce and her response, and i quote, was "Are you sure that isn't going to be enough?" She was rude and incredibly stand offish. Finally the scallop caviar dumpling - the scallop was cooked absolutely perfect, the dumpling was sub par in flavor, could barely taste the caviar. Place was a disappointment in my opinion. Was hoping for fire dumplings and this was ehhhh at best

Update: one year later and we can't believe it is the same restaurant. Dumplings were tough, ribs dry and thin- what happened to this place? ย We're obv not the only ones: there were about 8 customers in the whole restaurant during lunchtime. Last year we had to get there early to avoid a long line. Sad

Wow. What a great place. Nice vibe in a great location. Waiters were incredibly patient and friendly. Everything we ordered was very very tasty. We really enjoyed the stuffed peppers, the crunchy beef, and the 3 chilli chicken. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyWhat an amazing spot.
The variety of the menu is superb. The quality and flavors or the food are phenomenal. Richard was more than accommodating. The vibe is very hip. Highly recommend this spot!! I wish I lived in London so I could frequent this restaurant.

I went to Red Farm when I was in London for work, and it did not disappoint. The hot pot was freaking delicious - absurdly flavorful and a huge portion. Loved the dumplings also. The ambience is fresh and cool - I would definitely go back when I'm in London again.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a unique and friendly restaurant.
The staff is truly excellent- friendly, attentive and interesting. It's original home is New York and this is the only non-American location. Buzzing with customers of all ages, it is a good pick. We had the spare ribs, lean and meaty with Barbeque sauce(not our preference for sauce); short rib lettuce wraps ( tasty but too spicy for me); Chinese broccoli and shitake mushrooms which was excellent; and shrimp with fried rice which was also excellent. When the manager learned we were not having dessert and that we usually do not go to the same restaurant on a trip, he brought us cream filled Chinese pastries and fruit. The pastries are very sweet and good.
