Can't recommend this place enough! This experience exceeded our expectations! We had heard so much about Restaurant Gordon Ramsey for years and were worried it was all hype...but it's even better that we could have imagine On top of each delicious courses, the amazing staff and stunning decor complete the experience (there was even a bench to put my purse!).We did the 7 course Carte Blanche with new dishes designed by the Chef and you never know what's coming next. With the complimentary canapรฉs, amuse boucle, palate cleanser, and additional dessert (not pictured), it felt more so like 11 amazing courses! For libations we did the wine pairing, while not an inexpensive addition was great to have all the thought taken out of drink selection and know what we were having complimented each course. Would highly recommend for an elevated night out and/or celebration!! We can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyWe came here on a saturday noon.
It is advisable that you book beforehand. We got the ยฃ250 carte blanche menu cause we want to be surprised. And every plate indeed is a lovely surprise. I am still in awe of how soft the bread rolls were, it was literally a bread roll from heaven. I did make a request that if they have lamb in one of the courses, please change them to another meat because I cannot eat lamb and they happily oblige. My piece of steak was done just to my liking. We ended with pre dessert, the dessert and some small candies afterwards. I'll forever remember the taste of the chocolate- so deep and dark with almond aftertasteSince this is a three michelin star establishment, it is of course very professional in terms of service level. You are greeted at the door and someone will take your coat away. All the servers are knowledgeable and provide for nice banter. Restaurant ambiance is very intimate. Limited tables and table sizes are usually small.

Absolutely one of the best, the presentation, the tastes, the service, and the attention to details. A great experience.

Terrible Service! Our flight from the US to London was cancelled last-minute due to mechanical problems, so our arrival to London was delayed over 24 hours and it meant that we would miss our dinner reservation. I called the restaurant to see if alternative arrangements could be made, but they reportedly had no availability while we were in town. As it happened though, the restaurant ended up being occupied by activists and having to shut down the night of our originally scheduled reservation, so our reservation wouldn't have been honored anyway. Despite this, they still charged me the cancellation fee of over $350. How do you get charged a cancellation fee for a reservation when the restaurant wasn't even open? I've tried for weeks now to resolve this with the restaurant via phone and email, but they're unwilling to refund me the bogus cancellation fee and have stopped returning my messages. There's no way the food is good enough to put up with such terrible service. I would recommending avoiding this place at all costs.
Be the first to ReplyA journey of the senses.
..I opted for the Carte Blanche experience, which allows the chef the freedom to get creative, highlighting seasonal ingredients over 7 courses. Well, I kept track, and, including the incredible amuse bouche and additional surprises, I was actually served 11.I was careful not to eat every last bit of food to reserve room in my stomach to try everything, and even then I cut it close. There was a "pre-dessert" and a dessert, and when the server brought another trio of treats after dessert, she saw the weary look on my face and said, "I promise, this is the end!" :)Every dish was beautiful, and every bite of food satisfactory; however, for a 3 Michelin star restaurant, I fully expect to be blown away at every step of the journey, and that actually didn't happen. The lamb was absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous layer of crispy fat and incredibly tender and juicy meat. I opted to have white truffles shaved over my cheese course (the tart shell was impossibly crisp, flaky, and buttery,) but I honestly found the overall dish to be unremarkable. My favorite dish was the Oyster Surprise, which was oyster custard topped with dill and caviar and served with a tempura oyster with dill pickle gel.Service polished and attentive, albeit a bit stiff, and the wine recommendation was spot on! But was I blown away? I'm afraid not. Still, it was an elegant culinary escapade.

The wine list - it's extensive burgundy selections - and presentation at the table were genuinely special. Additionally, the service was flawless - which you would expect. The greeting upon entering the restaurant was a bit cold relative to Jean Claude. His lack of presence was obvious. The food - just not special really at all. The sirloin was tough, which shocked us all a bit. The turbot lacked any real taste and the pairing of Dover Sole stuffed with truffles just didn't work - as the truffles overpowered the subtle fish. The apple tartine was generally agreed by the group to be the best apple pie ever. It was fun. And a memory. But not worth it - because of the food.

We went here with family on Fathers Day, and we were quite underwhelmed. The steak was undercooked and the cut was so thick that we couldn't even cut it with the knife. Actually the only dish that I could recommend here would be Beef Wellington. It was extremely overpriced , would not recommend!
Be the first to ReplyMy husband had Gordon Ramsay's flagship on his bucket list
My husband had Gordon Ramsay's flagship on his bucket list for a while now so when we took a trip to London, dinner here was necessary. The first thing I noticed was just how simple and understated the decor is; it sure seems like they want the food to be the focus. We had 12 courses including the amuse bouches. Amuse bouches:-3 bites - all delicious except the bacon mousse but that's just due to personal preference. -1 tomato broth - so light and yummy.Bread: THE BEST BREAD EVER. Most Michelin restaurants give you sourdough, but GR gave us the most amazing soft dinner rolls baked with herbs and a drizzle of honey. Of course they were warm and came with the best homemade butter. It was the best bread I've ever had.Courses:-Scallops "ceviche" - delicious and so fresh-Lobster - they said this dish was new (we came 5/27/22) and OMG KEEP IT ON THE MENU FOREVER AND EVER. This lobster dish was absolutely perfect. I can't even describe it, just know it was my favorite dish I've ever had at any restaurant, Michelin or otherwise. It was that unbelievable. I had to eat it so slowly because I was trying to savor every bite. -Sea Bass - tasty, cooked to perfection but after the lobster it was a let down. I realize it's 2 fish courses then red meat, but switch these two so the lobster is second.-Lamb - also really good, cooked perfectly -Rove de Garrigues - their version of a cheese course with soft cheese, shredded cheese, apricots and a drizzle of honey. Definitely a different course. I liked it more than my husband, just didn't care for the chewy apricot - it would've been better with a smooth apricot jam.-Golden egg dessert - almost like a fancy creme brรปlรฉe with caramel - it was good, not my favorite -Savarin - fresh strawberries with an earl grey Chantilly cream over a really light pound cake - really light and tasty! Gave us a nice bite at the end.To finish there were a few different chocolate bites, which were all good but nothing specific that stands out.Everything was very tasty but I'll forever remember the bread and that lobster course. I would give them 5 stars over and over again just to have a meal of those two things. I'd say the meal lives up to the name!
Be the first to ReplyMy name is Karen.
I have a complaint. after I pulled up my karki trouser, I walked in this establishment. I was placed on the dirtiest table with the dirtiest cutlery. I asked to speak to the manager and he was the rudest man I have ever dealt with. I'll be back.

I really enjoyed visiting this restaurant with my family. Everything is delicious, the staff is friendly. Thanks!

Be the first to ReplyExpected more, this was my third Gordon Ramsey restaurant
Expected more, this was my third Gordon Ramsey restaurant experience over the last two years, and similarly to my previous two experiences, I was not impressed. Food yet again was seasonless, flavorless, and cold. I'm beginning to not understand the awards and accolades received by GR. Outside of the likable personality and boisterous caringly aggressive tone and demeanor, the food served at his restaurants ( a reflection of his standards) has not been award-worthy or edible. Maybe this was a coincidence that I should overlook but after a similar experience at other restaurants bearing GR name, I'm not sure.

Love his show and so when my cousin and I saw this restaurant in the airport, of course we wanted to eat breakfast there as the food was bound to be great, and it was. Our waitress sucked though as she failed to tell me they were out of the one ingredient (beans) I requested to have additional of, never smiled, and only came to our table when we flagged her down.
Be the first to ReplyWent here a few years ago.
Sad to say I was quite disappointed. Unfortunately our cab driver delivered us to the restaurant 10 minutes after our reservation time. We were immediately greeted with a "you may have to finish your meal out in the lobby". That was quite a surprising statement to hear (more on this later). The food was good for the most part. We found a live (moving) caterpillar in our greens and chose to send the dish back. This may be the North American in me, but I expected it to be replaced with something else or at least comped. Nothing of the sort happened. Was disappointed about that, but maybe this was an unreasonable expectation? What really left me with a less than positive impression was that there was never a need to for us to finish our meal in the lobby. Why would they even mention this to us? There were empty tables when we left and certainly no one waiting for our table. Definitely the most frustrating part.

This wasn't the best meal that I've had, but it certainly ranks near the top. ย The restaurant felt like it was a little out of the way in a quiet neighborhood, probably a bit different than all of his other restaurants which are usually attached to posh hotels in more vibrant neighborhoods. We ordered the full tasting menu and everything was executed to perfection with some of the most beautiful plating I've seen. The service was also impeccable. I visited before Covid but the number of staff probably doubled the number of diners.

It was supposed to be a chicken pot pie cost $35 most disgusting thing ever. How could you possibly f*** this up I could have made a better one for less than $3. But I guess that's what rich people do f*** you over he should be ashamed of himself
