This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.
It was the best meal I've had in Mallorca. They pay attention to detail from the welcome drinks next door to the stone cup the water is served in. It will be tough to find a better tasting tomato than the tomato they serve here. The local ingredients really standout with each dish. The serviola (blue fish) dish is great too. The knife work is crazy. It's served on a slice of apple that's so thing it's translucent. The drinks compliment the food too. They have a very extensive wine list and some ciders. The staff was cool as hell too. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. This place is a gem.

This restaurant is by far the best food I have had in Mallorca. It is located in a small mountain town with narrow streets and quaint buildings. The restaurant itself seats no more than 30 people - more if they open up the patio. Two sisters run the restaurant and the store next door. First I will talk about the shop. They sold ceramic Knick-knacks, wooden bowls and heavy linen aprons with detachable leather straps. They also sold olive oil from their family's business- one oil was pressed from local olives, the other olive oil are from grapes from (Italy or Greece) but made locally. The restaurant though small produced dishes full of flavor and presented like any Michelin star restaurant. We had a six course lunch which may seem like a lot, but it was just a tasting menu. Fresh vegetables, vegetable purées and foams was present in some of the dishes. The seafood stew was my favorite. It was served in a light broth with thinly sliced carrots, potatoes, cabbage and snow peas with monk fish as the star. The meal was finished off with a almond, strawberry and herbasana. This dish was a strawberry sorbet, in a herb purée top with a almond tulle and freeze-dried strawberries. Awesome. If you can make it to this little town near Lluc, you will not regret it. A must stop. If you have the stamina, you can park nearby and walk an hour up to the monastery on top of the mountain.

Michelle Obama's recent visit is definitely a conversation starter. Underwhelmed, beyond overpriced, mediocre service, and we stepped out hungry after a 6 course meal. Not recommended.
