Beautiful ambiance, delicious food.
Went to lunch on a weekday and had a reservation, but it was not needed. Quick service from waitress.
🤢
This was a HUGE disappointment.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and thought this would be some place different and special. It is a beautiful place but spending $ 100 for sandwiches that would be better from a food truck does not make up for good ambiance. Our servers we very good, no complaints there. I couldn't think of any reason to recommend this place because of highly overpriced food.
🤢
My husband and I went here for our anniversary.
We were very disappointed. We had reservations but our table was not ready when we arrived, so we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the service was excellent. As far as the food goes, there were only six entrees of which three were sandwiches. The remaining three were nothing special, chicken, salmon or steak. All entrees were a la cart, so sides cost extra. My husband got the lobster roll which was rather bland. I've had much better from Cousins Maine Lobster truck. I had the ribeye sandwich (basically a French dip) which was good, but not what I would have liked for an upscale romantic dinner. The only dessert offered was a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. All in all we found this to be way overpriced for what was offered . We certainly will not go back.
😍
An amazing experience, such a beautiful and unique cozy
An amazing experience, such a beautiful and unique cozy vibe. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The menu was a limited offering but everything was spectacular. Loved the artichoke appetizer. A great dinner option for a special occasion- and get there early enough to enjoy the rooftop patio to watch the sun set.
🙂
This was my first time visiting this restaurant.
It is definitely a vibe/ambiance but I would not come here for the food only. The menu is very limited. I was actually shocked that a cheese burger was on the menu but super glad because that is what most of us ended up getting. The rest of us got the lobster sandwich-thing. We enjoyed taking photos and chatting more than eating. There are only 2 "mimosas" on the menu. The rest of the menu was full of wines. If I lived in the area I would make this a pre dinner stop on a date. Get a glass of wine, sit outside to enjoy the views, and talk. Then go else where for dinner. The server was great.

My fiancée and I had dinner here for a date night before
My fiancée and I had dinner here for a date night before heading to see my favorite R&B artist in concert. Simply put, I was impressed. There are a lot of restaurants with pretty ambiance and the food quality is subpar, this was not the case. I want to start with my broiled salmon. This was the sifted salmon I've ever eaten and it literally melts in your mouth. Seasoned well with a nice lemon squeeze and you're good to go! Everything is served a La carte so we ordered a Cesar salad as a starter. This is an entree size however, our waiter had them split the salad which was very nice (we didn't even need to ask). We wanted to try the broccolini but they were sold out. Good thing, we'll have to go back to try it out. My fiancée ordered the half chicken and it was good! Neither entree lacked in flavor or tenderness. The truffle fries were good however, there was an aftertaste that I can't quite put my finger on. The potatoes were the perfect addition to my salmon. We were both very pleased. Excellent service. We went on a Monday, Kate afternoon so there wasn't a lot of people dinning. I have to mention the paper towels in the restroom. I know this is very minor, and probably weird to mention but I love a restroom that is fully equipped, clean, and that has good paper towels ;)RH restaurant has my stamp of approval.

It's rare to visit a restaurant that can check all the
It's rare to visit a restaurant that can check all the boxes so effortlessly. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I'm not sure if it was the day & time, but parking was so easy and stress free. Both the exterior and interior was beautiful. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, and our sever was really thoughtful & considerate. The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest I wasn't sure how good it was going to be, due to past fine dining experiences. But it was so good and of great quality. I would say the only thing we didn't really enjoy were the fries. It had an odd taste to it, but I can see how other might like it. And we were super disappointed because we wanted to order the broccolini but they were sold out. Guess we have to go back! Outside of those minor things everything was flawless. Gotta double up the stars on this one! 10/10 would recommend!
😍
I took my mom for her birthday dinner and it was very good!
I took my mom for her birthday dinner and it was very good! The service was amazing! We both ordered the steaks with sides and everything was delicious. The interior is immaculately decorated and yet still cozy. It is a little pricey, but the portions are nice so it's worth it. 10/10 would go again!
🤢
You're paying for the decorations, that's clear bc the food
You're paying for the decorations, that's clear bc the food is average although the prices suggest otherwise. The biggest problem I have with this place is that if I'm paying for the vibe, let me enjoy it and not have the server try to rush my family in and out of there so they can turnover the table. I think that's a fair ask for a $400+ tab.
😍
Finally made it back for brunch and wow.
My second visit was just as amazing as my first! I had two delicious peach Bellinis and had to stop myself from getting a third. I had crispy artichokes, lobster roll, burger with pork belly and truffle fries and my goodness everything was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, cooked and served. I'm already planning my next visit. Our servers were so nice. Very friendly, VERY friendly, and made great suggestions and recommendations. The ambience is so beautiful in the daytime, I can only imagine what it's like at night. RH is something everyone should try at least once. But I think after the first time you'll be anxious to return.

Ambiance & DELICIOUS Food
While walking through the furniture gallery, we instantly realized that RH is a next-level experience! We purposely took the stairs up to the 3rd floor (to see the decor), where we met by such a beautiful setting. The hostess/host were not engaged/welcoming and attempted to seat us (hubby & me) at a table for 6. I requested a 2 top, which was far better and still allowed us to enjoy the true BEAUTY and ambiance of this lovely restaurant!! Our server was accompanied by a trainee, and both were extremely attentive, kind and knowledgeable!! We ordered lemonade, the RH burger, (one with pork belly), truffle fries and the other with regular fries ( a la carte). There's only one way to describe lunch...SUBLIME!!!!! Although Raleigh, NC is getting a RH, until then, we can't wait to return to the Charlotte location and try some of the other items on the menu. "You get what you pay for" couldn't be more accurate, as the $22 cheeseburger, $7 pork belly and $20 truffle fries were worth every coin!! Please don't let the price point discourage you...the food, drinks, service and setting are worth every coin!
What an experience we had at RH Charlotte! We celebrated my sister’s 39th birthday and could not have had a better experience. The beauty in this place is something that has to be seen in person. We explored each floor and was so amazing by how beautiful everything was. The ambiance was amazing and there were so many beautiful chandeliers throughout the restaurant as well as the lower levels. We enjoyed the bacon and charcuterie board appetizers. We also absolutely loved the salmon and lobster rolls. Get the peach Bellini, you won’t regret it. The truffle fries were addictive and my salad was a perfect addition. What made this a memorable experience is our waiter Diego. He explained every item to us and in my opinion is what true hospitality represents! We made many requests and he did not once hesitate to make them happen. So the RH Rooftop had a forever customer and we pray Diego never leaves!! Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

Fabulous Place - Can be Noisy
Have dined here a few times but got behind on my reviews! Please make sure to RSVP and if you want to spend time outside, make sure they will allow this! The menu has not changed much so I do not visit more frequently. In addition, a glass of wine starts @ $20 so if you do not have that in your budget, you better love beer. :-) The burger, salmon and Shaved Ribeye sandwich are really good. The view and atmosphere are amazing, but the room can be very loud.
😍
Must check it out, and the interior design studios are winderful
The service the food the ambience were fantastic. You Don't sit outside for dinner but it was like being outside. It was all windows and open doors. The only thing I would suggest is more lighting outside on the patios. It would have been nice to sit out there on the couches and chat after dinner, bit it was very dark. I HIGHLY recommend it!
😒
If you've been to one RH rooftop, you've been to them all!
If you've been to one RH rooftop, you've been to them all! Charlotte was no different than the one on Marin County, CA and Dallas, TX. Expect higher prices and smaller plates. Food is great, but mostly you're paying for the ambiance.
🙂
I went this morning for brunch to celebrate my birthday.
It was really pleasant and airy the downstairs design center is a fabulous way to walk off a terrific meal. Our table had lobster roll, prime rib, and old fashioned eggs bacon and sourdough toast. We drank mimosas and cappuccino. Not a crumb leftover. My only complaint is a cookie for a birthday come on and that was frankly cheap!!!!!Left a nasty taste with the atmosphere they are trying to achieve
😍

Came to RH for brunch on my birthday with a few friends & was absolutely blown away by the ambience & food. I've heard this place could be overrated but I disagree we were all truly impressed with the whole experience. The staff was inviting & we were easily sat upon arriving which I had a reservation. We started off with great drinks followed by great tasting food!! I ordered the blackened salmon with broccolini which was so flavorful & juicy. My friends had a burger, truffle fries & lobster roll which they all gave a 10/10 too!!! Pricey but I would definitely return to this beautiful establishment.
🙂
We enjoyed our entire experience, but would probably not
We enjoyed our entire experience, but would probably not pay this much for a basic meal again. The building is gorgeous. There is an elevator to the left of the entrance inside that will take you to the rooftop restaurant. After reading some of the reviews on here, I'm guessing we lucked out with our waiter, as he was very attentive. Skip their version of "sweet" tea. Glass of unsweet tea, and small creamer of "sweetener", with no packets available. Coke comes in a small glass bottle at $5 a pop, so don't expect a refill. I do not think the RH burger is worth $22, nor the Shaved Ribeye on garlic bread worth $30, but it was delicious. Restrooms are 6 closet rooms with sink/toilet. Was able to take a few phone selfie photos on the patio, but don't show up here with professional cameras expecting to take alot of photos. Took time to walk through the showroom downstairs and take some additional photos. Was able to sit on the $20k cloud couch, which I read some people were chased off of. We enjoyed the entire experience, but not sure if we would go back.
😍
Always enjoy my dining experiences at RH Rooftop.
The staff is wonderful, the food is amazing and the views/photo opportunities on the rooftop is always the vibe. The food is À la carte, I ordered the salmon and roasted broccolini. The sides are usually a big portion and can be shared. I paired my meal with a white wine. I'll definitely return in the near future.

Don’t bother, to many other great places on the same block
Pretty but….had a burger, 2 of the thinnest paddies of meat and not much flavor. Seem like the institutional burger you got in a school lunch. It had a dijonaise sauce that was so salty that may have wiped out any flavor the was. Definitely not worth the $22
😍
What a beautiful building and dining experience.
For starters, this is the Restoration Hardware building. Once you enter the building you will be inside the lovely furniture store with high ceilings and a huge selection of furniture and art. You will have time to look around and enjoy all of the very fine collections ready to purchase. (No professional cameras are allowed to take pictures inside or in the restaurant facility )They do have an elevator if you did not want to take the steps, however you will miss some fine art along the way. Once you reach the top floor you will be greeted by the host staff. Since we had reservations, we were promptly seated and Mikey was our server. For those who grew up in the south and enjoy sweet tea, (take note) that it is not sweet and they will bring you a liquid sweetener. My wife chose to have a coke (small glass bottle) which was poured at the table. ( I would assume no free refills ($5.00 ) I had a water. We went on July 4th and made reservations due to previous reviews and were aware of the very limited menu for lunch. This is not a cheap menu, so I will provide the 5 stars based on my knowledge of the menu and pictures provided by other fellow helpers. My wife who has very limited choices on menus chose the RH Burger. The condiments come on the side which is very nice for presentation that takes up the plate since this is an a'la carte menu. (Sides are not included). The hamburger has two patties with two slices of cheese lettuce and tomato. Ketchup and dijonnasse is included on side. (Pictured below). ($22.00)We shared the fries (as shown) with ketchup and garlic aioli on the side. ($10)I had the shaved ribeye with garlic charred bread with au jus. A cherry pepper came on the side ( as shown in photo) ($30.00)Our server Mikey was very friendly, informative and attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely amazing and the ribeye shaved sandwich was the highlight of the meal. As I was trying to savor the moment I noticed that my wife was enjoying my sandwich a little more than I was. The flavor and texture of the ribeye between the garlic aioli charred bread was so intense and delightful that I found myself putting down my sandwich much more than usual so that I could really enjoy the immense taste. In doing so, my wife seemed to barter with me for my meal. I would say a burger is really just a burger, but that ribeye sandwich will bring us back again. So the place is expensive, who cares? Just be aware that people may balk at the price on paper, but THAT sandwich ....OMG was worth the entire meal. Thanks Mikey for presenting us a meal that was amazing. Happy 4th of JulyRH made this Holiday Meal memorable.

I'd been wanting to check this place out since I moved to
I'd been wanting to check this place out since I moved to Charlotte. A friend was visiting from Florida and we stepped in for a cocktail. We were greeted by a lovely associate who gave us a quick directional of the place and recommended the rooftop cafe. Now I have to say, upon walking up to the hostess podium, the looks we got from the 2 hostesses was less than welcoming. Ignoring that, we made our way to the bar, ordered drinks and proceeded to the outside patio area. We then enjoyed the summer breeze, REALLY nice music, along with mimosas and a VERY tasty mango flavored beer. Next time, I'll definitely have food because the lobster roll looked amazing! Check this place out!

I always heard about this fairy tail and a nice lady
I always heard about this fairy tail and a nice lady reminded me to come here when I went to another nice brunch spot a week ago. I decided to make reservations for dinner and treated my family to dinner who flew into CLT. Morgan was a phenomenal waiter with her service. She also made a great suggestions on which bar to hit up that serves the "perfect" old fashion since I completely overlooked that this place only serves beer and wine. It compliments the atmosphere and the menu very well. The truffle fries, shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread, and lobster roll were a hit. Will definitely come back here and try brunch or dinner again!

Just another loud place for millennials to take photos for
Just another loud place for millennials to take photos for their Instagram. The food was okay, but not for the price. If the salad had been the best one I had ever eaten, I wouldn't complain about $27. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's one and done for me.
😍
I have visited this restaurant now 4 times.
Each time has been a good experience. I've had brunch & dinner. The restaurant itself is an experience. The decor gives you upscale chic vibes. Nicely decorated in every area of the vicinity. Plenty of places for a cute photo op inside or outside on the terrace. The food is always good when i come. I have had the salmon twice, the roasted half chicken & the rib eye. All have been good with no complaints. I recommend to anyone who loves a nice aesthetic & simply cooked, good meals
Not sure I would return. My lobster roll was excellent as was the gem salad. (Loved the avocado chunks!) Hubby’s burger was ok, patty was frozen -not fresh @ $22. Niece’s avocado toast was bigger than she was-there had to be 2 lbs of avocado on it. Daughter’s half chicken had to be recooked (? Their explanation) and finally came out when we were all done :( I also called ahead to ask for a table in the shade if possible since I’m a 6 time skin cancer survivor-and was told it was noted on our reservation by a young man. The 2 hostesses at arrival were not aware of it and even after asking, tried to seat us in a partially shaded table. But were pleasant enough to seat us at a fully shaded table when I pointed it out. It is also very noisy there with little to absorb sound-even after adjusting my heating aids to restaurant mode.

This is a really interesting, although disappointing, place.

The space is something else and makes it worth checking out, at least for a glass of wine in the evening. Very much a gallery of their products which is beautiful and well kept. The restaurant upstairs is a really open space with great lighting and beautiful trees. Very unique. The food, well this is why it's two stars. This is a restaurant review, not a review of a store at the mall. If it hadn't had such a nice ambiance, I'd have given it one star but I'll give it a "could have been better".Service was okay. Our server seemed very new which is fine, it happens. He was soft spoken but very friendly. One salad was brought out split on two plates and when asked we were told simply "we were told it was split order". They were out of the two vegetarian options we intended to try as we had a vegetarian in the group. Disappointing since there are no vegetarian entree options other than salads. I guess cheese is popular here, maybe b/c it's a safe bet (spoiler, food was bleh overall). The bottle of wine was delicious. Our server butchered the cork on the first one and had to get a second. Seemed like he'd never opened one before, it was pretty awkward. Wine and a small selection of beers are the only alcohol options. We were a bit surprised as this place screams fancy cocktail when you walk in the door.Fries were good, as they should be for $20 an order. The truffle aioli had zero truffle in it, more lemony. Mushrooms were great. I didn't care for the artichoke but my wife said she didn't mind them.Broccolini tasted like gas and was completely inedible. It was so comically bad that we all got a laugh over it. The Caesar salad had almost no dressing at all, far too much cheese, and the croutons were like rubix-cube sized. There was no pepper on it and none was offered. The leaves were left whole which is common but the plate was tiny so, good luck cutting this sucker without it spilling all over the table. It's as if they wanted this salad to be as difficult as they possibly could make it. Mission accomplished. Highly disappointed in the food experience overall, wouldn't eat here again.TLDR: beautiful place, stick to drinks and maybe a $20 order of french fries.

I took my friend here today for a girls birthday lunch based on a TikTok someone made about places to see in Charlotte. This place didn’t disappoint! The building & decor is just gorgeous ~ so much to take in! We relaxed and strolled thru everything after our lunch & a few drinks. There are two floors of their actual showroom & the third/top floor is the restaurant. I made reservations a few days ahead on OpenTable. The food was delicious ~ ohh the burrata, so yummy! The shaved prime rib sandwich was on point & easy to share. We also got the truffle fries ~ I could’ve licked the bowl! I didn’t ;) …the peach Bellinis were so good as well! It is a little pricey but considering this was an “experience”, it was worth it in my opinion. The service all around was awesome as well ~ from the ladies in the showroom to the greeters at the restaurant to our waitress!
😍
One of my favorite places to eat in Charlotte.
It is so breathtakingly beautiful and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the truffle fries. It's perfect for a girls night out or a romantic lunch with your special someone.

Restaurant is pretty but food an service are very disappointing.
First, the good about this place is that it is truly very nice inside. It sets the stage for great insta pics, especially in the evening. You can do this for free by simply just walking into the place from either the elevator or stairs and pic you spot for photos. Then, leave and dine elsewhere. I am always one to look at the glass half-full so the only take away is the atmosphere. Once we were seated, the experience began to head down the wrong path. It started first with our server. My sister-in-law ordered sweet tea. We were told they don't have sweet tea. My daughter then ordered the unsweet tea and just asked for splenda/sweet-in-low. When he returned, he brought the tea and a small pitcher that contained simple syrup. That is the very definition of sweet tea. Oh, and they don't have artificial sweetner packets. So that was the first facepalm moment. The next was when I ordered club soda with lime. They only offer bottled Pellegrino. What decent bar can't provide club soda? Moving onto to our meal. Things did come out in a reasonable amount of time except for my niece’s entree. She and I ordered the same thing so I offered her half of my meal. 10 mins or so later, the server came by with her meal and apologized for the delay. But by that time, all of us were half way finished with our meal. For the prices they charge for the food, I would expect it to be better than the average pub. Nothing about my beef sandwich wowed me in any way. My sister-in-law had the shrimp cocktail and she said they were good but again, for the price, it wasn't worth it. Our server, in the meantime, was also scarce at best. My two daughters and nieces wanted to get a few pics, which they did. While my sister-in-law and I waited at the table, the server finally came by with 2 plates of cookies and a candle. He asked if we were celebrating a birthday. We said no so he said, well enjoy the cookies anyway, lit the candle and then walked away. Keep in mind that at this point it was just me and my sister-in-law sitting at the table. This should give you an idea of how much attention he really paid to our party. The cherry on top was when my oldest daughter had gone to the rest room. She had a boot on her foot due to an ankle injury. It got caught in the door as she was coming out of the restroom causing her to stumble. Two workers felt it was better to laugh as she fell rather than asking if she was okay. When she came back to the table to tell us that was it for me. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a manager. When we got home, my brother decided to call and talk to the manager directly. He has worked in customer service and to his credit said the manager needs to know so they can fix problems. He was very professional and the manager seemed receptive to his feedback. We were told that we would hear from the manager regarding possible credit for our meal. That was 10 days ago so I now feel the need to write this review. We never received any word back. My check for 3 adults it was $165 without drinks or appetizers. Needless to say, we won't ever go back. Final takeaway...feel free to visit the property and take advantage of many great photo spots. Then LEAVE and don't eat there. You will only come away completely disappointed.
Update as of 3/31/22--Manager has contacted my brother and is issuing a full refund for our check. I Felt it was only fair to make that point. My impressions of the restaurant remain unchanged but the manager did get back in touch with us so I did want to provide that update and go from poor to average for my rating.

As much as I love RH, we finally had the opportunity to check out their restaurant. The ambience was absolutely stunning - I expect nothing less from RH. The restaurant is located on the top level above their showroom. After hearing recommends from our waitress, we decided to order the following: Boiled SalmonRoasted Half Chicken Shaved Ribeye on Charred Garlic Bread Truffled FriesYukon Gold Potato Purée Charred Heirloom Broccolini Drinks... RH Bellini For dessert... Chocolate Chip Cookies The food was delicious. The broccolini was definitely a highlight as it very flavorful. RH Rooftop Restaurant is a bit on the pricey but you're purchasing the full experience (e.g. excellent food, phenomenal service, and captivating ambiance). I highly recommend walking their showroom if you have the opportunity. Trust me when say RH showrooms never disappoint!

Well well I've heard so much about this place! Let me start by saying the service was amazing! Our waiter was top notch and kept the peach Bellini's coming. This restaurant sits on top of a furniture store and overall it's luxury and the prices are luxury. The food is NOT luxury! My salmon was amazing, but that broccoli was not cooked to my liking. It was really crunchy! The prosciutto board was pretty good. The only way I would return is for the vibe, not the food.
