Fabulous lunch at Robuchon Au Dome
Great dining experience at Robuchon Au Dome! Service is meticulous and excellent! Food is glorious sight and of very high taste standards. Epitome dining experience and the interaction with service staff are very pleasant and sweet! Highly recommended although its quite pricey.

Having celebrated my husband’s birthday at the great Robuchon au Dome at the Grand Lisboa Hotel on 3/12/2021, below is our observation. GOOD POINTS: 1. Magnificent view Located at 43/F of Grand Lisboa Hotel, we can overlook the Taipa Island at the window seating area. Such a breathtaking view! 2. Ambient dining environment Such dining environment makes us feel like we were back in our honey moon days in Paris, where we dined at the Eiffel Towel. 3. Nice decoration Once we entered the restaurant, the decorations truly impressed us a lot. 4. Excellent food presentation Our set lunch, including vegetarian for my husband, were all presented with total perfection. 5. Fantastic food All our dishes are extremely tasty and till now, we still linger the excellent taste on our pallets. 6. Great service All staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant manager Ray Leung also stopped have a chat with us, which seemed to be naturally done to all and nothing to do with my Husband being a Sports Personality. 7. Relaxing piano live music BAD POINTS: Sorry, there was NONE. ADVICE: Definitely worth a try, especially for a birthday and anniversary celebration

From the bread till the dessert. Personally speaking, the dishes is a bit strong favour for us, however, the bread and the desert is nice. The service from Raman and Miranda was great, we can feel their professional hospitality. Great job, we enjoy our time here.

Quite disappointed in the decor and food after hearing great reviews. Went for a birthday dinner and while the grand entry was a fantastic welcome, the inside of the restaurant was so bare due to poor lighting. It was so bright which took away from the Michelin star atmosphere. The waiter also was not well trained - he could not help answer any of our questions. The sommelier was helpful though with the wine suggestions. It's not a must to try this restaurant.

We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. The set is totally value for money and the food presentation is excellent. Moreover, all the staffs at the restaurant are friendly and professional. Last but not least, there are many impressive architecture and elegant interior design in the lobby.

We have lunch there after more than 10 years from last visit, (we can hardly book a seat even a few weeks in advance for years) this year, we are lucky to book it a week before. Set lunch now around $900 HKD, with an additional few hundred with mains selection of Wagyu. Great that we have chosen it, best cooked Wagyu we have ever tasted. Other items, butter and assorted bread, appetizer, classic mashed potato, dessert cart, petits four still as tasty as the good old days.

Very Underwhelming
So disappointed. Had such high hopes and had been recommended by a friend who had enjoyed it. Restaurant venue is good and unique, high up in Grand Lisboa hotel. Service was friendly and first class. Staff brilliant food not.
Had the set lunch menu but it was so disappointing. To start the Pate (Le Pâté en Croûte) was bland and tasteless - seriously I have had tastier pork pie. The other starter (duo of beetroot and apple with avocado) was also bland and underwhelming.
Mains were no better. Paid the upgrade price for “roasted lobster in rouille sauce and south spicy flavours”. The lobster was cooked perfectly but the meal was just average.
This is my honest assessment and I only judge what I experience and this was one of the most underwhelming meals I have had. Whilst the restaurant may have a Michelin star, the lunch set menu would not get anywhere near that standard. Go to SW Steakhouse or Le Chine instead, for a quality meal.
Great n fine dining but bad reception service
Great food n service at the restaurant but bad reception service. Called to the restaurant direct by IDD call on 27 Oct to make a reservation for 3 persons' lunch. Left with all contact details and the lady quite had difficulties in catching my mobile number. She supposed to send a SMS for further confirmation n deposit which I did not receive at all. Went there with 2 girl friends on 31 Oct 2019 and the receptionist of Robuchon au Dome said had no reservation so we told her never mind of that and please arranged a table for us as there are vacancy. She confirmed can arrange a table as restaurant was not full; but she insisted to check my name and the date that I called for making reservation n determined to know why I did not received the SMS. I did not want to argue with her at the reception area n showed her my phone record that I did not received any sms on her said date 27 Oct 2019, Sunday. She requested my name again and confirmed she was the same lady who picked up my IDD call for reservation. One of my girl friends was upset n loss her patient who kept us standing for 5 mins. She asked the receptionist what was the point checking as she should sit us in first. I felt really embarrassed as I highly recommended this restaurant to my friends n gave them such a bad feeling. Luckily the food n service compensated a lot. However, the receptionist of Robuchon au Dome had definitely ruined our day trip in Macau. This was my favorite restaurant that I visited quite a few times even before moving to this location already. Guess the majority of customers are changed so as the attitude of the receptionist.
