Not worth the money
Not worth the money at all ! We had a reservation and walk in people hot in before we did. I asked the server and the bazer to change us table, (we were freezing) they played stupid and never helped. Never got offered refill of water. Very poor service.

This chain never seems to disappoint. My steak was perfect as always. The real star was the lobster macaroni and cheese.

Great food and service. Would definitely recommend. Especially for a special occasion. They had a card and rose petals on the table for our anniversary and we received a complimentary dessert as well.

I enjoyed the barbecued shrimp, filet salad and banana cream pie. I didn’t have a reservation and there was await. I sat at the bar and Adam was my bartender, fantastic service. The people I sat next to were fantastic and fun.

Our adult kids gifted us this special treat for our 36th anniversary. Hands down, the most amazing steak we have ever had. We ordered the cowboy ribeye to share, as recommended - and it did not disappoint. The crab cakes weren’t the best I’ve had, the roasted Brussels sprouts were so-so, fabulous fingerling and onion potatoes - and “out of the ballpark” flavor with the good old-fashioned apple tart. Great service. Very attentive staff. Memorable date night.

Came here with family that came to visit from Miami to join me for some skiing... Everything was excellent. From making the reservation, all the way through dessert. Chaz made our evening exceptional and had a great attitude and was very professional. We'll be back and we hope Chaz' will have room for us!

Valet parking was spot on, we had the best waitress ever, very friendly, attentive, very descriptive of the foods and items recommended certain things to us very very helpful and kind. Remembered our birthday girls name and paid particular attention to her. The food was over-the-top delicious — we will definitely go there again. Thank you everyone at Ruth Chris for a fantastic evening!
Be the first to ReplyWebsite and Answering system a dead end for my questions
I have a gift card that has a balance on the card. I want to find out exactly what that balance is. They tell you to go online and give you a website to find it but it is only useful if you have a recent card that has a pin # on it. Mine does not. So they tell you a number to call. When you call, they ask you to leave a message and they will get back to you in one business day, but then the message center is full and cannot take your message..."sorry"...go on line to check. Pretty frustrating. This is in no way a complaint of the food.

We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday early and have enjoyed eating at Ruth's Chris restaurants in Park City, Vegas, Cancún, Cabo, and several times at the Salt Lake City location. It was a Thursday evening so luckily it was not very busy. We were seated quickly but at a table right next to the bathrooms. Nothing quiet or private as we requested but just wanted to enjoy the evening so took what was offered. They did at least put out a birthday card and decorated the table. We have dined here so often we already knew what we wanted. We love their lobster bisque and enjoy the spicy shrimp appetizer. This location did not have the spicy shrimp but did have spicy lobster. We love shrimp so we ordered the BBQ shrimp instead. The taste is not even close to the spicy shrimp so I would not order it again. The lobster bisque was cold and lacked any pieces of lobster meat like we've had in the past. Fortunately it still tasted good but not up to their previous standards. We love the mashed potatoes and they were delicious. For our entree we both ordered the petite filet and the meat was cooked perfectly. One thing I love about Ruth's Chris and most high end steakhouses is they serve their meat on extremely hot plates. It really finishes the cooking process and soaks up the melted butter. The negative part is the plate broke in half after only a few bites and had to send it back. All of the servers and head maitre'd apologized and did their best to make it right. Unfortunately the replacement filet was not very good. It was supposed to be cooked medium rare but was tough to cut and tasted different than the first steak. I tried to enjoy it but after waiting for it to be prepared and sitting for awhile I'd had enough. I was disappointed but did not complain or ask for it to be removed from the bill. That was my mistake! I was finished but my wife was still eating when one of the servers tried to take her plate. My wife was shocked and asked what the server was doing. She apologized and said it was a misunderstanding. A big problem I have is the wait staff trying to take your plate without asking if you're finished and wanting to box up your food. Honestly in this covid environment, I prefer to do it myself. I know this is supposed to be a courtesy but I don't want another random person handling my food. When my wife was finished I finally got someone's attention. They looked like they were starting to get busy so we asked for boxes and the check. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake to go. We sat patiently for about 10 minutes and I finally asked how much longer. They said it was almost ready but still waited 10 more minutes for dessert and the check. Once we got home and sat down for dessert, it tasted smoky like it was sitting next to the grill. This just topped off our night with our favorite dessert going in the garbage. I feel like her birthday dinner was a waste and it might be a while before we go back to Ruth's Chris. Last thing to say is figure out the valet parking. We spent $200+ dollars to eat at your restaurant but you still charge another $11 bucks for parking? No validation for your restaurant customers? Little things like this are so easy to fix and make people want to come back again and again.

We wanted beef and know RC has top quality meats. Ingredients were all top notch and tasty but inattentive service made the meal less than memorable. As well, the space is not particularly impressive or luxurious (as some RC's are). As others have stated the bone-in filet is large and tender and we shared it and were happy with the portion. It took a long time before a wait person arrived to take our order and similar waits occured between courses. Of particular concern was the length of time taken before the table was cleared. We'll try Fleming's the next time we're in SLC and jonesing for beef.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent as always
Gréât steaks and good service as usual but why is it so dark inside so you can hardly see what you eat We went there 3 times in 2 weeks time in spite of the high prices We loved the porter house chosen the first time and the big fillet the 2 other times Really the best for meat lovers

Steak haven. Bone in filet is absolutely terrific. Every steak I have ever had here is done to perfection and served up beautifully.

The food was great, even the Mac N Cheese was oddly delicious. But for two we were lucky to escape at just above $200 (no alcohol). No matter the food it's just too expensive. Each item is individually priced. Even the single serving of Mac N Cheese was around $13. And our waiter kind of dumped us at the end and we had to settle our bill with another waiter. Valet parking at $8. If you are in the upper crust financially you will love this place. But I will be having fine dining somewhere else at half the price . . . or less.

As you would expect, the quality of the food and wine were excellent. We had a table in the bar area and the service did not quite match up to the quality expected. It was fine, just not great. As an example, no one came back to the table to check in on the meal, or the wine etc..
