Amazing food, lackluster service
Giving a rating of 5 because of the outstanding food. However, our server left a lot to be desired. We ordered drinks then waited and waited and waited for him to take our order. He wasn’t attentive to our table nor anyone else’s from what we could tell. In fact, he kept disappearing. But the food made up for his lack of interest. Everything we ordered was exceptional. Love the fact that you can order breakfast items any time of day, and the lemon ricotta pancakes…wow! Best pancakes EVER! Also, the pork rinds and peppers were amazing! Looking forward to our next visit and hoping for better service next time.

The server did a fantastic job very friendly staff. The cheeseburger was delicious, love the sauce on top. All of the food was terrific
Be the first to ReplyWonderful place, delicious food, and great drinks!
This we had brunch in their outside patio and it was one of the best meals we had in Cincinnati. The Bloody Mary mix is homemade and truly spectacular.
Be the first to ReplyLeft a little disappointed
Was left a little disappointed. The drinks and the appetizers were very good but all of our dinners were MEH....average at best. Plus they were out of some of the dishes too. The Gnocchi was dry like it was older and reheated. The burgers were nothing special. I was just expecting more.
Be the first to ReplySacred Beast offers a great brunch
Sacred Beast Diner has my vote for one of the best brunches in town. When I visited recently for the first time, my friend and I were tempted by the same things, namely the server-recommended fried truffle risotto balls to start followed by the corned beef hash. Oh, the risotto balls! Every element of them was perfect, including the lick your plate good marinara sauce they came in. As kids, my friend and I reminisced about enjoying the canned corned beef hash our moms would pick up at this supermarket. Well, we’re grown ups now and we both really appreciated the very grown up corned beef hash we had at Sacred Beast. Large, tasty cubes of corned beef nestled in with expertly spiced, beautifully cooked potatoes and the lot was topped with two poached eggs. I added a bit of hot sauce, paired it with a latte and oohed and aahed my way through the meal. Honestly good food. Great service, too.
Be the first to Replyhigh end diner food
High end and interesting takes on diner food--Salisbury steak, eggs, hash, etc with a few other options like gnocchi and salmon. We went for a later dinner on a weeknight following a flight into town. Got great food and great service. Pudding for dessert also delicious. I bet it's packed on the weekend for brunch, but I'd brave the crowds. Best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Any place that can make such basic food so good has chops. Go here.
Be the first to ReplyWell worth a try..
We looked on their menu which they had posted out side which I really like so I know what they have as I’m a picky eater. We got the wedge salad and chicken crispy nuggets and shared them. They were both delicious meals and it is great to have healthy light food items.
It was great to be able to sit outside. Service was great and food came fast.. gotta go check it out..
Deviled Eggs and Goetta Breakfast
My wife and I recently visited Sacred Beast for lunch. I tried the Deviled Eggs and Goetta Breakfast. The Deviled Eggs were delicious. Soft egg whites were filled with a creamy salty whipped yolk filling and topped with crunchy mustard seeds. The Goetta Breakfast was also tasty. Meaty sausage was filled with crispy oats and paired with yolky over easy eggs, soft potatoes with a crisp outside and hot sauce.
Be the first to ReplyNew waitperson. Some of the food was Really Good - Some not up to Par - We will Be Back
We wanted to venture out for brunch and we could sit outside. Our waitperson kept apologizing and telling us he was “new”. When we asked questions when he didn’t know the answer he just asked another person.
We got the deviled eggs without the bacon on them. They were spicier / better last time we came. But, my husband was still happy to eat them.
My side salad was huge. I got it with the Blackened mahi Ruben which was also huge!! The mahi was cooked perfectly! My husband got the Dirty French to eat only it seems I missed the photo.
To drink we tried the Euro tonic and the Tito’s smash. He was so hungry - even though the burger wasn’t exactly the way he wanted he still ate it completely!
We will go back. We had good service the first time we were there. I do suggest changing up the menu.
Most pretentious place I've tried in Cincinnati
This place tries to offer dishes like schnitzel and steak tartare but none of those are original recipes, not even the potato salad (BTW you are not allowed to change sides so be prepared to pay an extra). I agree when the chef wants to give a twist but just because you put raw steak with an egg yolk, it does not make it a real steak tartare.
The only things we liked were drinks and fries, so probably I would recommend it as a bar.
It looks like the chef has never tried real food so I suggest him to travel to those countries or at least look for real recipes in YouTube.
Lively crowd, great food
Excellent ambiance, lively atmosphere. Everyone talking, laughing and eating. Obviously a place to be. No common foods here. Even the very generous single burger had some zippy features owing to the pleasing-cheesy garnish. French fries, too, had a cheesy dipping sauce. Madison was very attentive and welcoming. Thank you!! A recommended location!
Be the first to ReplyInteresting Spot, Ambiance, and Menu
Walked by a few times when looking for somewhere to eat. The menu was a little too eclectic and high priced for what we were looking for. A few vegetarian options noted on the menu. Stopped in later for drinks and the drinks were good but a little high priced. Service was great. Restaurant was very crowded and a little noisy.

My Xavier college students and I visit every time I am in Cincinnati! The menu is creative and eclectic. Breakfast is served all day. Fabulous vice!

Finally got to try sacred beast! And thrilled that we did. Thursdays they have a special, so we tried it. It was two double burgers with cheese, an amazing wedge salad with cucumber, radish, a beautiful egg, goat cheese, almonds, and pork belly with a hint of chili oil. It also came with the cutest, tastiest little hashbrowns and a bottle of wine.
The food not only looked amazing, but it tasted the same as it looked. And the staff and the service was perfect.
Diner? If affirmative, high end diner
Recommended by local colleagues to another solid spot in upper end of OTR. High ceilings, nice lighting, good acoustics is an ideal set up for success. For appetizers we had the Chicken Liver Mouse and Fall Veggies. The Mouse was spot on, reminded me of my late Grandmother’s which in my book is numero uno. Another solid dense, tasty meatball which we paired with Chicken Schnitzel. The Schnitzel was heavenly; learned part of the crust is Corn Flakes. Flash Fried to perfection. Crispy, tender and not oily. Wine list could improve, but we found some good Cabernet. Sophia provided good service. On a future trip will be back.

Interesting kind of grunge retro vibe in an upscale diner of a restaurant. Good burgers. The Dirty French burger that you eat with a fork and knife is quite good.
