Sadelle's New York Reviews from The Last Year
Say yes to the bagels, bacon, and grapefruit.
You can't go wrong. Wonderful service as usual. Cool ambiance.
Best breakfast place I've ever eaten.
French toast is unreal, eggs bene with salmon. Of course you have to get a bagel.
Delcious!!!!!
Such a cute restaurant with amazing food. The french toast and white fish tower were excellent. There bagels are super tasty so I had to have 2. I would definitely go back next time we are in NYC
The food was amazing.
We had scrambled eggs , fried eggs with potatoes and blueberry pancakes. No complaints! Can't wait to visit again. Our waitress Charlie aas very friendly and always there when we needed her. Excellent service
Incredible brunch spot
Possibly the best brunch spot in Manhattan. This place is phenomenal. The high ceilings and open floor plan make the room feel vast. The cocktails are strong, and the food is delicious. Don’t miss the fried chicken sandwich—whatever sauce they use is incredible. All three of us ordered it and loved it. I need to come back ASAP to try more of the menu. I have a feeling everything is amazing.
The staff and waiters are extremely rude and have no idea about the service - it’s dirty and flies / mosquitoes all over
The waiters have no idea that eggs and omelets are served with bread - - strange New York - then bread is also buttered !! Totally ignorant

This is hands down the greatest brunch you probably ever will have. The FRENCH TOAST alone is absolutely to die for. Not to mention the incredible eggs Benedict. Both dishes are truly top tier culinary creations. You will NOT regret coming here.

Came here for friday brunch with some friends! I love how cute the vibe is here and getting to sit right next to where they were making the bagels fresh, was so cool. I highly recommend getting the salmon lox and whitefish salad, breakfast potatoes and sausage!

I love this restaurant so so much! So many things about this restaurant is great! The food is the best thing ever! I really enjoyed the French toast. Service so so fast. I got my food in less than 10 minutes! The ambiance is insane. I love this restaurant!
Great atmosphere and the food was good, not great.
Enjoyed the scenery and presentation but the place was a bit overrated. Service staff was very nice and attentive and the wait for our food wasn't too long. I do think this is a cute place for out of towners however not my number one spot to go back to for brunch in NY

A must visit spot if you're in NY! At Sadelles, brunch is elevated to an art form. The attention to detail, from the presentation with your bagel served in a towel to the exquisite flavors of the cream cheese and toppings, creates a culinary masterpiece. With impeccable ambiance and impeccable taste, Sadelles earns a well-deserved 5/5 rating as a top brunch destination.
To be contrarian, and because I loved it, I'm going to go
To be contrarian, and because I loved it, I'm going to go five stars on this breakfast/brunch experience despite the high prices ($27 bagel with lox and cream cheese) the hostile "we won't seat you until the entire party arrives" policy, and the $50/person late-cancellation or no-show fee (which applies on cancellations less than 12h in advance). Why? The food was great, the bagels were made right next to our table in a glass-walled kitchen. The smoked salmon was epic. The service was great. The scene was, well, the scene -- the kind of place where people wear pink shirts with linen jackets and Loro Piana baseball caps straight out of Succession. And bring their dogs? Reserve early, it's not easy to get a table. Show up with the whole gang, otherwise you'll wait. And beware that everything is pretty darn salty, which I liked but let's say they are liberal with the salt on everything (even the lox it seemed) so if you're not cutting it with the cream cheese it can be pretty salty.
Once again, an nyc hotspot disappoints.
Clearly more scene than substance. Don't get the pancakes. They can't even get a basic batter right. Extremely mealy and crumbles apart on the fork. I'll stick with my usual spots that are actually good. Honestly, even a place like Grey Dog does things better with considerably better value, and when places like Clinton Street Baking company are available, dining here makes zero sense.
Great!!!
Came here for lunch and loved it! Delicious fresh food and great friendly service with an amazing atmosphere .Would love to come back again!

The ambience sets the mood nicely, but unfortunately, fruit flies decided to join the party. Nonetheless, the staff is incredibly friendly. Weekday afternoons seem to be less crowded, making snagging a table easy, but reservations might be wise for busier times. I tried their house salmon, a delightful local catch served simply as smoked salmon. The dips accompanying it elevated the flavor beautifully. Mimosas were a perfect match, as I suspected. I've heard rave reviews about their French toast too, so that's on my list for next time!

Deducting one star only bc it's so annoying to get a reservation here and impossible on a Sunday to walk in at actual lunchtime. Otherwise, gotta say that despite the sceneiness, Sadelle's is impossible to walk into for a reason! The salads are perhaps the platonic ideal of salads -- ingredients are all fresh, delicious and somehow chopped to precisely the right size to mix all together perfectly. The Cobb is one of my favorite lunches in the city, period. And the pancakes -- which somehow never show up on best in the city lists -- are, well, among the best in the city! Crunchy griddled butter flavor on the outside, fluffy and light on the inside, not heavy....perfect, from a pancake connoisseur! The pigs in blankets are also amazing on every level and a must order every time. I keep doing Resy alerts (which do often work out) for weekend brunches here for a reason!
Yes to the bagels and lox.
The french toast is good for all, especially kids. Yum to the grapefruit cocktail- sliced grapefruit with a sugary delight on top. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance wins- exposed brick, flowers, natural light. Book early because this place fills up on the weekend.

Our favorite breakfast spot! Simple, cozy ambiance that leaves the French toast and smoked salmon as the main focal points of the meal. Service is always quick. We are impressed every time we come here! Cannot recommend the French toast enough. It's absolutely heavenly!!!

Visiting from Florida and going intoSOHO to shop so my daughter researched restaurant places to eat. We chose Sadelle's because we both like smoked fish and wanted to treat ours. We recently were elsewhere for it so were wanted to compare places. The interior is upscale and lovely, service was fine. We ordered the Nova lox for 2 and bagels. It came with sliced cucumbers, capers and cream cheese as well. Sesame bagels were lightly toasted. This is the first time I have had capers with the fish nd found it to be a very nice addition. The cucumbers were a nice palate cleanser. The fish however was a little disappointing. I understand it should be sliced on the thin side but being able to see thru the slices was quite disappointing. Would I return, Maybe but not for the fish. The other offering looked interesting, so maybe.

Sadelle's is super hyped up and I think while it's not bad, it definitely doesn't live up to the hype. The ambiance is very nice and the service is great. The food was good, but not anything special. They're famous for their French toast, but I honestly found it to be extremely greasy and heavy, I wasn't a fan. The pancakes were pretty good but kinda dry. I didn't try the bagel tower but my dad thought it was just alright, nothing special. Overall, I would probably come back for the vibes and probably order some different things to try.
Literally the most PERFECT place to have brunch in Soho on
Literally the most PERFECT place to have brunch in Soho on the weekend! It has a cute little vintage feel I loved how you were also able to watch them make their bagels in the center of the restaurant. I was able to make a reservation in advance online for a Saturday and I would highly recommend doing so because this place was packed! The food is incredible and I loved the variety on the menu. The only downside is the seating arrangement. As a party of 2 we were stuck in a corner with an extremely small table that barely fit the 2 dishes we ordered and looking around it was the same case for other parties of 2. As for the food, we ordered the smoked scottish tower and the leo omelette. I loved how thinly sliced the smoked salmon was and just because it's thinly sliced doesn't mean there wasn't a big portion of it!! Both the tower and omelette had a hefty amount of salmon and it was delicious!
The food was good but the overall experience wasn't great.
For the prices, it wasn't worth it. Our table felt squished and waiters walking behind the chair kept bumping into my sister. Also there were many flies flying around which is very unappetizing. We even found one in the sauce that came with our pigs in a blanket. We notified the server who took it and brought us a new dish but I would have expected the side to have been comped or something, but they still charged us full price. Pretty gross experience. Prices weren't worth the experience
Love this place the ambience is just great.
Don't forget to try the smoked salmon bagel and the French toast. Despite being incredibly busy, the service was also good. Will be visiting soon.

One of my fav brunch spots like EVERYTHING is amazing the food is good, the vibes are amazing and I am going to come back to try their french toast too! The salmon was so good. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance!
Ordered eggs any way which comes with potatoes and a bagel.
Nothing special about the dish. Service was subpar; ordered an americano as soon as I got seated and they forgot about it so I got my meal and still waited for my coffee. Half way to through i reminded my waiter and instead just ordered coffee. It tasted burnt- finished it either way. Many tables around me ordered the bagel salmon tower so maybe that's what keep this place busy but coffee was bad and my dish was average not worth they hefty price in my opinion
