This restaurant is fantastic.
The food is extra tasty, wonderful presentation, a good temperature with great ingredients. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The customer service is top notch. Karina is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service! Super attentive wait staff, and checked in numerous times, provided advice and guidance on what to order! Great quality food and felt very fresh! It is smaller portions but that's, what I personally loved about it because it's family style and you can try a lot of their dishes, Welcoming atmosphere! Would highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyA fun dining experience.
The food is a little out of the ordinary with hip and trendy vibes. Pricing and portions are fair. Staff and service are good. I suggest going with a group so you can order a variety of items being that there is so much goodness. Loved the hummus.
Be the first to ReplyI can't rave enough.
The host, the bartender, and our server Nicole all made us feel so welcome. The food was so insane I have no words. The way this team goes above and beyond is awe inspiring and I can't wait to be back here again and again!
Be the first to ReplySaffys is a gem.
Pure and simple. I was there last night with 3 friends for an early dinner at 5pm. The elegant design and neighborhood feel are already charming, but from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, the team at Saffy's take incredible care of you. Gianna and Lilly at the host stand were so welcoming and helpful. Our server, Hector, gave us great food and beverage recommendations and was always right on time. Our wine angel, Ginae (sp?) was so lovely and helpful. She found us the perfect wine to go with just about everything on the table. In fact, I noticed every member of the staff helping us out in some way, wether it was the bartender running me my drink, the other servers and back-waiters dancing around the table filling waters or dropping off dishes, even the Managers made a stop at the table to check in and get us some more challah. We were seated right near the kitchen so we could see all of the food coming out and chat a bit with Chef Ori and Chef Rusty, which made the selection process a whole lot easier. Even the kitchen was a part of the service! And don't even get me started on the food. Seriously. You just have to go and try it for yourselves. But if it helps this was our order: Scallop crudo Hummus Ful Lobster skewer x2 Sprouting cauliflower Roasted Celery root Chopped Chicken liver Shawarma plate Red snapper tagine Swirl soft serve Raspberry dessert thing (it was insane, just get it) Everyone at my table was trying to pick a favorite thing but we couldn't even agree on a top 5. It was all spectacular. Each bite was better than the last. My advice is this: if anything in the menu sounds even remotely good or interesting, go for it. It's going to be one of the best things you've ever eaten. Also trust the staff. They know what's up and are happy to help. 5 stars all the way and I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing food, service and Ambiance, they have some great gluten free options and many unique dishes.
Be the first to ReplyFluff restaurant.
So many of these restaurants - Bavel, Bestia, Majordomo - just fluff. The food isn't revelatory. The prices are astronomical. I don't mind paying the money for great food but the production is too much. There's a million people working at these places. It feels like a factory. It doesn't feel authentic. It's so big scale and there are so many people who are impressed with the mediocrity of the food, service and space. I don't get it. And bonus, the wine list is awful.

When we entered, we were so Rudely treated by the hostess, we turned around and left. Will never go back. She never should have been at the front desk, maybe in the kitchen washing dishes.
Be the first to ReplyFood and staff were great.
If I had one complaint was way too much garlic in all the food. Otherwise definitely going back
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, nice ambiance.
We did not have reservations but made it there just before 5pm host were able to have us seated. Service was little slow but it was worth to wait.

Be the first to ReplyDiscovered my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant!
Discovered my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! Everything about this place is five stars--from the service to the food to the ambiance. I came here with my parents for an early birthday celebration and was blown away. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; we ordered the hummus ful and the lobster skewer for appetizers and all three entrees to share between the three of us. If I were to reorder again, I would skip the lobster skewer--even though it was delicious, it wasn't the most spectacular dish. Everything else tasted phenomenal and was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The cocktail I ordered (clarified milk punch) was not too sweet or strong so I enjoyed it. Lastly, we ordered all three desserts and they were all delicious--my favorite being the mandarin & vanilla swirl soft serve. An overall perfect experience; I would definitely come back again for any special occasion!
Be the first to ReplyGood for outing with group.
Then you can order more varieties to share. Service is great. Very packed. Will be seated when all party came.

We made it for last minute reservations at Saffy's last night with some friends and it was delicious! In fact, I'm still full from dinner last night, so watch your order portions, lol.If you've been to Bavel in the Arts District, then Saffy's is like a Bavel (Part 2). You'll know though that the quality of the dishes and the flavors are still superb. For appetizers, we ordered the hummus ful (one of my favorite's), the chopped chicken liver, and the smoked lamb ribs (probably the tastiest I've had outside of New Zealand in LA, tbh). We were recommended to order 5 appetizers to share amongst 4 people, but I found myself already satisfied after these portions. For entrees, we shared the wood-fire shawarma plate and to be honest, I could have stopped there. However, not understanding the portions, we also ordered the pork and chicken shishlik which was also delicious (thank goodness this was shared)!Re: drinks, I was pleased with my Paloma Spritz and I had an Italian rose that went well with pairing our order, thanks to their in-house sommelier. The service was great and extremely attentive. The atmosphere and ambiance was nice. We landed an outdoor patio table, but I imagine sitting inside would have brought a more elegant vibe. The noise level was definitely vibrant with the enclosed spaces and the background music playing.Valet is recommended (they take cash or card) unless you find some meters or street parking around the neighborhood. If so, plan to arrive earlier.

I was excited to try Saffy's after I heard that it was under the same ownership as Bestia and Bavel. Bestia and Bavel are both of my favorite restaurants so I knew I had to try Saffy's. We ordered the Turmeric Mussels, Skewer Plate with beef and lamb, Green Falafel, and the Hummus Ful. My friend and I ordered the Cherry Limeade and Milk Punch for cocktails. My favorite dish was the turmeric mussels and it is a must try if you come here. The flavors were so good and unique. I loved the toasted flatbread that they served it with. The skewer plate was also worth ordering and I enjoyed both the beef and lamb. The hummus ful and falafel were good but you could honestly get it anywhere. It didn't taste unique but just overpriced hummus and falafel. I would definitely not order this again when I go next time. The cocktails were delicious. They were both tasty but my favorite was the milk punch. The servers were really helpful and kind. They didn't rush us which I really liked and they were genuinely very sweet. This restaurant is a bit small so I would recommend getting reservations. It's a really pretty restaurant with modern vibes inside!!

It had been a while since I last dined in a restaurant that every plate came out so flavorful and delicious. Especially if you're a "foodie" for sure you must visit this place for dinner and try it all!!! Come hungry you'll leave so satisfied!! Coming back 100%

Crowded on a Saturday night, but well worth the drive and the effort to get here. Pretty much every dish we tried was excellent --from the scallops to the chicken liver toast to the skewers, latter which arrived on steel spears so long they could probably poke one in the head if you're not careful. Try the spicy lamb skewer and don't miss the chicken liver toast. There's a very happy vibe here; the staff went out of their way to accommodate us on a busy night.I'll be happy to come back.Great spot!
Be the first to ReplyMediterranean restaurant with a twist.
The ambiance is a little too loud, service was superb and food delicious.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, incredible service, and also.
.great music! We loved that even though the music was popping, we could still hold a conversation without screaming at each other. Our server recommended a really beautiful wine that I loved, and he also steered us towards the tagine (which seems out of place with the rest of the menu, but I would have regretted not having it; this and the tabbouleh were the highlights of the whole menu for me).

I've been hearing such great reviews (especially from tiktok) so I've been wanting to try Saffy's for a while. The drinks were by far my favorite part of the experience. I ordered the Sour which was a mezcal drink with passionfruit, pineapple, carrot, and a little spicy kick. It was perfect. The humus ful was my favorite dish. The challah bread was so pillowy and perfectly toasted to dip into the hummus. The red snapper tagline was really good too - very light on salt and swimming in a delicious tomato ginger broth. It was pretty crowded so I recommend booking a reservation in advance.
Be the first to ReplyFood is absolutely delicious.
Portions are small and prices are high great for celebrating birthdays ect but definitely not and everyday treat.

Tried Saffy's for the first time a couple days ago and it was lovely. I was lucky enough to go with a big group, which gave the opportunity to try more dishes. Everything was very delicious, with my favorite being the beef skewer (soft and flavorful). Everything was very fresh and well made, but I will say meat portions are small so don't shy away from ordering a few items. As for dessert, light and tasty. After a heavy meal like this, the dessert being light was a perfect change of palette without over doing it. Service is very good, there is always a server near by to help and advise. Also, my friend got yo go to the kitchen and chat with the chef (she's a big fan). It was very kind of the chef and team to allow her that experience. All in all, great place.

I have really disappointed by my dining experience at Saffy's. I honestly do not understand the hype now that I have dined there. We ordered the hummus, lobster skewer, and the shawarma sandwich. I left the restaurant hungry. The hummus was fine but the hava beans on top threw off the consistency for me. The lobster skewer was $38 and we finished it in two bites, and the shawarma was tender but again $36?? I can get a shawarma sandwich from Luna grill for $15 that is just as good and comes with sides.Needless to say, I was really disappointed and don't understand how it is impossible to get a reservation here where the food is overpriced and underwhelming.Service was fine- nothing noteworthy. The ambiance was classy, dim lighting.

Good God - this is what Mediterranean food heaven and cocktails is! We ordered the lobster skewer, chopped chicken liver, shawarma, snapper tagine and hummus and every single item was perfection! The cocktails were spot on so good! PERFECTION!
Be the first to ReplyA must go if you're around the neighborhood.
A perfect place for a night out with friends, family or a date night. We were in awe with every dish we ordered. The presentation was a WOW factor and enjoyed every bite. Serving dishes are family style so expect to share and enjoy each other's company. There's public parking around the restaurant, but most of them are taken during dinner hours. If you're not wanting to park yourself, there is also valet available. Make reservations ahead of time is recommended. Hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.
