SAHARA Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Old and nasty.
Walls scuffed, no art work. Room was muggy after a shower. Blankets felt nasty after a shower because of the moist in the air. Room tables were still dirty. THE TV's only have 7 channels. The staff was amazing tho, very helpful . Very informative. Customer service was 10/10.. love everyone that helped us out . Unfortunate that the rooms didn't match the employee / valet / security vibes.
Stayed just one night.
The hotel is beautiful, spacious, large parking, easy to get to. There were also disadvantages - we were accommodated on the 5th floor with a view of the monorail and the laundry room (more precisely, bags of laundry). We didn't see anything except the escalator and the laundry. The room was damp and damp, perhaps due to the laundry. We checked in late in the evening and we were with children. Therefore, there was no need to change the force number.

horrible experience! DONT STAY HERE ! Staff is HORRIBLE recently had to visit Las Vegas to attend bingo extrava event. due to all of the rooms being booked at the hotel hosting the event, me and my boyfriend ended up booking the Sahara hotel for 4 days. at the time of check in all systems were down so we were checked in manually by the desk clerk. we originally booked through price line and paid the room fee up from but was told to pay the 199$ resort fee to the hotel directly. again at check in the systems were down so I'm guessing they were not able to collect the 199$. now fast forward to 3 days later my boyfriend is trying to get into the room and the key has been deactivated. I'm busy at the bingo even i paid 500$ to attend and wait 2 months for when i get a phone call from my boyfriend stating the front desk lady won't let him back into our room because "we need to pay" . mind you the room is completely paid for via price line but she is speaking of the 199$ resort fee that they were not able to collect because THIER SYSTEMS WERE DOWN. also the resort fee is to be paid at check out and we are not checking out today at all. she tells me on the phone that she will not let him into the room where all of our belongings are untill i come pay the 199$. i explain to her I'm currently at a bingo event and i can't leave at the moment but he is listed on the reservation and she needs to provide him a key as the room is fully paid for. she denies him access and says i need to come to the hotel now or he will be standing waiting. i had to leave my even that i paid 500$ to attend with no REDUND option just to come back to Sahara because she wasn't giving him a key untill i payed the 199$ which isn't due untill tomorrow! i lost my seat at the event and when i got here she cowardly hid in the back and would not come back out. After being told the entire encounter was recorded from my Ray-Ban meta glasses and would be posted to social media i was offered 2 drink vouchers and a 2 days discount off the resort fee.......i missed out on my 500$ even seat , 440$ bingo package , and 2 full months of planning due to this situation that was at no fault to me at all! I was not compensated for any of my money i was caused to loose by having to leave my event! The worst part is when i asked who fault is it that their system was down , mine or the company.... The lady replied "Microsoft" 0 accountability with the company ! Horrible and i will be posting the video
Worst stay in Las Vegas.
..never again! Parking elevators out of order. Only two elevators were working inside hotel, so very long lines to get to your room. Unclean rooms, found hair and food that did not belong to us, yuck! Extremely long line to check in, over an hour, understaffed. They have a VIP line, but clearly not VIP customers taking advantage and employees simply just help them while others are stuck waiting. Horrible experience overall.
The Sahara should be ashamed of themselves on the gaming
The Sahara should be ashamed of themselves on the gaming floor. In the hour I was there, dealers were making errors handling the cards, like hitting on blackjack when you can't. One dealer took too much commission from another gamer next to me and when she called him out, he blew her off and the pit boss had to take care of it. Never found such an unprofessional set of dealers where the errors were major and should get reported.
The room was ok- but the dealers were some the nastiest and
The room was ok- but the dealers were some the nastiest and rudest people I have ever encountered. We Played roulette for 2 days and each dealer was worse than the next, tried not to pay out, threw the chips down, we had to have the pit boss review the camera to prove our bets were on the number. Yolonda during the day basically yelled at me the rules that she changed- and crossed her arms and proceeded to talk about me in Spanish to another employee (not realizing we understand everything she said). She was enough to have me collect my money and gamble elsewhere. No customer service whatsoever.
Very nice hotel.
Great guest check in by Kostas! Very affordable room rates! I stayed for 3 days! Free valet parking for all guests! Free self parking!

Hit the crap table as soon as I got in, I don't gamble so I had no clue. (Guess Lady Luck walked in with me) I instantly turned that $20 into $700. WOOHOO!.. Still don't gamble..
i'm not writing this review to give them a bad one.
i just want it to be known that the elevator going towards MML and the banquet halls has a problem. I got stuck in it yesterday for 20 minutes, i think staff knew the elevator had problems because before we got on it a huge group of staff was just eyeing my family and i down.. really hard. We took the elevator cause we have a 7 week old newborn so we couldn't lift the stroller. Anyways, we got in the elevator we hit number 2 we started to move and then it started to violently shake and the doors never opened. we tried to go back to 1, but nothing happened. we then tried to go higher but still nothing. We call for help and tell them we're stuck and immediately after, we lose power. It was 118° yesterday, so it got hot in there really fast. The staff did a good job on trying to get us help and out of there as quickly as possible. However, i noticed an hour later they never put a sign up by the same elevator stating that it is having problems. i just wanted to let people know to be cautious of that one :)

*visited from Houston during 4th of July* This hotel is a pretty decent. I like the location of it. You will need an Uber, Taxi or rental car to get to the main attractions of The Strip. We stayed in the Blanca towers near the fitness room. The room was very small; we had two beds in the room with a small cut out window. The window was a rectangular shape at the top. I wish the window extended more, it felt like a prison lol. The bathroom was odd, like the bathroom sink was next to the bed and a partition for the shower and toilet; not a big deal, just a usual adjustment. But one thing I did like about the hotel is the tv. I like the fact that there was the option to cast to the tv from the phone, that is a PLUS. Although, it took some time to work with because of connectivity issues but it worked more times than not. Also, there was Netflix app on the tv that was available. The staff were helpful and friendly. Shoutout to the housekeeping team, the room was very clean and felt comfortable despite it being a relatively small hotel room. I also liked the Alizo Ultra Pool which is 21+ only. The music was good, it wasn't super loud and overbearing. I had a daybed reservation and our waitress was very helpful and responsive. The bartenders were great and very very nice. Like the hospitality here was AMAZING. The manager was able to credit me a refund due to my mom sending a poke bowl back (she didn't realize it was raw tuna), the manager was very nice and understanding about it and offered me a complimentary drink while he processed my refund . It's the little things like that warms my heart, just generosity and understanding! Lastly, there is free parking and free waters for hotel guests. I think they are making some upgrades but I will stay here again, probably in a different tower though!
Resort fees
They advertise as no resort fee . They do charges resort fees . Very disappointing in that aspect. Otherwise nice hotel.
LasVegas💓
The hotel looks very upscale from outside. The rooms are small and stylish but very basic. The TV had Youtube where you could watch your language stuff.it also had the Monorail attached to the hotel. We got a day pass for 15 $ with unlimited trips for a day. No Kettle ( basic facility even in smalker hotels ) or tea coffee in the rooms. No drawers to keep stuff. The only way to get some hot water to make some coffee on your own is to go all the way downstairs to the lobby which had a cafe called Prendia where you could get hot water .There is no breakfast buffet for such a big hotel and the breakfast vouchers we got served limited options in a very small crowded restaurant called Zoefflers. But the food was good and the staff were helpful. No newspaper in the lobby. But the staff at reception were very courteous.
Spoiled arrival in Las Vegas
Check in desk, struggling for staff. Extremely slow and 50 people in the queue. Have been waiting 40mins and still 30 people in front of us. I have never came across this in any of my world wide travels. Won't be back in this hotel, and would definitely not recommend it
Mixed bag; cost add-ons
On the positive side, the price was good (we got a package through Expedia), the staff friendly, room very clean and comfortable, common areas very nice. On the negative side, the decor was really ugly and nonsensical, a resort fee of nearly $60 per night added in (for something we would never use), and a nightly housekeeping gratuity is also baked in. I don't even know how much that is yet, since we haven't checked out. The gratuity wouldn't bother me so much if I were at all confident that it would get to the people doing the work.
Good Stay
Great Location if you are attending a convention as it is a 10 min walk. Overall the food choices are decent and the room value is very good. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side and not well lit compared to the newer hotels but overall I was happy with the stay.
Don't go there with teens
The big pool with big TV is for 21 and over. The other pool is for toddlers. The hotel is don't care about other families. I wish I knew it before booking this place. Don't go there. they charge ridiculous resort fee but we can't use any facilities if you with teens.
Not family friendly. Poor beds.
The reason for my single star may not apply to all. This was pitched when we booked as a family friendly hotel for Vegas and showing a nice pool. Unfortunately, it turns out their nice pool is for ages 21 and up. If you are a family with children under 21, you're stuck with a typical, small pool, the likes you'll find in any budget motel. The other reason, at least for us, is we found the beds very uncomfortable. On the positive, the staff are very friendly and it is a very clean hotel. It's just frustrating to feel deceived, and I hope this review will help others with families of children under 21 make a more informed decision. Thank you for reading my review.
SCAM- FALSE Advertising and NO help with resolution.
0. The place is a scam. The staff is zero help. We booked on Expedia for the Alexandria King deluxe which the picture show a beautiful room and when we checked in, we were put in a dungeon that didn’t have a freaking window (cement slab behind the “faux window curtains”) and we were expected to stay there for a week and be fine with that, paying as much as we did. it wasn’t the room we booked in the photos. Sahara said it was the fault of Expedia for false advertising, but Sahara‘s advertising the exact same thing on their website as well. They also told us we would’ve gotten a better room if we would’ve booked directly on their website instead of using Expedia and that’s why we got the terrible room (both being labeled “king deluxe”). Sahara wouldn’t even make it right and put us in a room with a basic window- said we had to pay $100 more a night to get the room in the pictures that we booked. When we asked if they could just make it right for one night at least til we could figure it out, Sahara then proceeded to say that they were too full and they couldn’t help us so we were stuck in the dungeon (that also the lights didn’t work in). We literally left and went and got a room at the Palms. (Mind you, by this time it’s 9 o’clock at night after we had already traveled all day). We were told before we left, by Davin Jay Cruz, that Sahara has the account is fully noted that we will not be charged and that we did not stay there and returned the keys and it’s a simple phone call from Expedia to confirm we didn’t stay there and we will get our money back. I got a phone call from Sheila at Sahara last week after I left a nasty review on Expedias page, and she said it’s a simple process to have Expedia call them to confirm we didn’t stay and then we will get our money back. I called Expedia and they too said let’s make a quick call and confirm—- and here we are two weeks later and no one can seem to get a hold of anybody to confirm so now we’re just “SOL” and they won’t refund because they can’t do their job and “get a hold of ANYONE”. You’re telling me that a business with 1600 rooms and staff everywhere; you can’t get a hold of one single person there, in multiple tries of calling to confirm that our account, THAT is NOTED on FILE and says they did not stay..? I’m baffled and going to the Nevada BBB.
You may want to stay someplace else
I was there for 2 nights when on my second night, I was going to my room and I was stopped by a black security guard named Sence, I think, because he kept putting his hand over his nametag. Anyway, he asked for my license and called in my information. Of course it came back clear, but then he took my room key and refused to give it back to me. Finally his boss told him to leave me alone as I am a guest. His boss gave me my room key.
Great time
Good room, friendly and professional staff, clean quiet and comfortable. Good location. Wife both kids and I had a great vacation. From check in to check out all was good. The swimming pool area didn’t appeal to us as a family. But we were busy most times when it was open. Spa could not do our 15 year old daughters nails but found a nearby spa that did
Disappointing experience in an otherwise beautiful place
We came here for our 12 year anniversary and was disappointed more than impressed. -The hotel lobby and common areas are beautiful. Check-in was a hot mess so be ready for a long wait (no check-in kiosks). Person who checked me in was very nice. -High resort fees which they say provide access to parking and things like the pool - which I find funny as the parking is free to anyone (no ticketing system or attendant - I never saw security either) and the pool was closed. -We stayed in the Marra room. The room itself was very pretty, the lighted mirrors were a nice touch. HOWEVER.. --when we first arrived we found the room had no soaps, shampoo, conditioner or lotion. I texted guest services (which admittedly is a nice option instead of calling) and they brought me some soap fairly quickly. --After we got the soap the bathroom was going to be used. But we found the bathroom "door" was just a sliding mirror. Cute, but it sacrifices function for looks. When we tried to close this "door" we found it left a HUGE gap on either side of the door frame - meaning you can see right inside. We called down to guest services who had a couple of engineers up to adjust the "door". They fixed the "door" to reduce the gap, but given the type and style of the bathroom "door" there will always be a gap. There is no way to lock the "door" or seal it (meaning every sound and smell is definitely making it's way into the room).. providing the same privacy as a curtain. 🥴 Big mood killer! 😅 -After the maintenance guys left I turned on the TV and went to lay on the bed. --The TV is insanely dark and you have no options to adjust it. The TV channels are limited, you are unable to rent movies or use a streaming service. Also, the TV utilizes the WiFi and would disconnect for LONG periods of time. So if you wanted to use it as mask the loud bathroom sounds tough luck. 🤣 I ended up using my phone to watch things instead of the TV. -- While laying on the bed for the first time, I found orange dried spots on the "clean" comforter. Looked like dried food. We had only been in the room for less than an hour and never ate in the room. By this point I was over contacting guest services. So we just used the sheet and spent our time out of the hotel as much as we could. Since there is easy access to the monorail it wasn't hard to avoid being in the hotel. In short this was a lackluster experience. I wish I would have spent a little bit more to stay somewhere that was more thoughtful in their execution. I doubt we'll be back.
Check in was smooth.
Starbucks right when you get out of the elevator, can't beat that. Grabbed lunch from the Mexican place to eat in the room because it's so spacious!
Stay Away
It looked nice on the surface, but this hotel has issues. When we arrived, we were told the room we booked was unavailable, so we were "upgraded" to a suite with only one bed. We were told the rest of us could sleep on the sofa, or get cots, so we got cots which were fine, but they didn't bring any blankets. It was literally a struggle to get anything at this place. Towels, blankets, toilet paper. Things that should have been left by housekeeping. The toilet continuously sprayed water on the floor and had a really annoying sound. Despite being a non smoking room, it constantly smelled like cigarettes and weed, and I was congested beyond belief the whole time. The radio didn't work (until it did randomly in the middle of the night), and the side table USB port was broken (yes it was plugged in, and yes the power switch was on). One light didn't work at all, and there was an annoying sound coming from somewhere outside the window. The only positive was that the staff were nice. I feel like this was a poorly managed hotel with staff that couldn't meet the demands no matter how hard they tried. The staff and Magic Mike shows are the reasons for the hotel getting any stars at all. Everything else about it was disappointing. Just do yourself a favor and stay away.
No coffee machine, microwave, curtains won't open.
For a high end refurbished room, shocked you do not provide a coffee machine. Coffee was not even easily purchased in the am - long line at Starbucks. Also disappointed no microwave in room. Whomever designed the room refurbishment, did a terrible job. We could not open the curtains - the motor or switch was broken. Maintenance guy came and could do nothing. Lamps beside the bed, could not be independently operated - were tied to the main lights in room, so you could not turn off lamps at bedside at night. Shocking oversight Extremely poor signage to self parking if you enter from rear of Hotel off Paradise Dr.

Residency match day
Wonderful place to celebrate such a milestone in our son’s medical career. Staff was amazing and thoughtful. Food was constantly high quality and the party atmosphere lasted all day and night. We will be back soon. Thank you to the Sahara management team and supporting staff for a wonderful stay.
The best hotel you can find, if you can find the right deal
Our most recent Sahara stay continues to remind us why its the best value on the strip. If you sign up for their newsletter, you can find rates and/or savings in resort fees that are the best in the business. The rooms at the Sahara are high quality, quiet, comfortable, clean and modern (Marra style room). We have been able to rest comfortably while out and enjoying all that Vegas has to offer. The property has monorail access which I'd argue is a must have for any visitors looking to take in multiple activities on the strip. The resort is extremely clean from top to bottom and continues to make renovations that keep it up to date for people coming back. The staff are also friendly and more importantly quick in getting you what you need. From check-in to any extra amenities needed in the room we found every team member to be very polite and prompt in helping us with what was needed. If I was to find any negatives for the property it would be that the marra elevators are extremely busy Friday - Sunday and can be difficult to work with if there are any mechanical issues. Additionally if the escalator plague strikes Sahara, it will be a less than desirable experience for any monorail passengers. The walk to/from the monorail has a larger set of escalators for access. We had to deal with just the "down" escalator not working. If the "up" escalator were to ever fail that walk would be less than ideal We will recommend Sahara to all our friends and family if they are considering a Vegas trip.
Sahara terrible room
I booked a non smoking room. They gave us a room that had a really bad smoking smell, very unhealthy. I went to front desk and they said they could not change our room but would send someone to clean. So somebody came and sprayed something, but it did not help at all. They said they would charge us if we would leave. So I asked to talk with the manager because the smell was really healthy and strong. Someone part of the hotel stuff mediate the conversation with the manager who never talked to us. I asked this person to go and check how bad it was, to verify we were saying the truth. He never returned. For all this time we could not be in the room. So I tried to talk again and they said they would put a machine to make it batter but recommended we not to stay in the room. We said ok and waited about 2 hours. I did not work at so we had to book another hotel. They did not refund us, they only waved 56 dollars out of the hotel fee. So we still had to pay for the smoking room we never booked. That was the most terrible experience I ever had traveling. Couldn’t wait to leave that place !!!
Presents well, but lacks service & functionality
I think if you’re a first-timer in Vegas or here for a short stay or party, you’ll be just fine here. The Sahara is recently renovated, has multiple restaurants, pools, gambling (of course!) and access to Monorail - everything one might need to have a decent stay on site or get out to take in The Strip. But if you like to go see and do off-Strip, or want a personalized experience AT ALL, this property just doesn’t cut it. It’s surface-level nice, but service and functionality totally lacks. You are just herded cattle. For starters - the room looked brand new, was quite modern and sparkling clean. But on closer look, the functionality is totally lacking. Missing simple amenities like coffee maker (few Vegas properties actually have these anymore), no laundry bag to separate your clean and dirty laundry (Vegas can be filthy); no dresser, just a bar over the mini fridge with open shelving (?). The charging port and outlets were so loose and well-used (broken) on the nightstand that my phone came unplugged overnight. Left the hotel at 5:30am for a 12-hour Grand Canyon tour with 11% battery. The WiFi TV glitched constantly. The lighting was so bad I actually laughed out loud when I turned on the floor lamp. Had to keep popping out from the bathroom to do hair & makeup. Part of the reason I booked here was because my 10yo wanted to swim on vacation, so I checked online, called (texted) prior to confirm pools were open. On site, we asked for directions to the pool, and first bellman sent us to 21+ pool. (My son is obviously not 21+ so we couldn’t get in there.) Second staff member (security) directed us to the right tower. We went all the way over to our tower to change into our swimsuits, back over the river and through the woods, asked the bell stand again to confirm directions to the right pool, were sent over to the rooftop two towers away to find out the pool was actually closed that day. Seems like ANY of the staff members we asked for directions could’ve just told us that pool was closed and saved us the trip. They had three times to get it right and couldn’t even nail that. Constant lines at check in. Waited 20 mins upon nearly midnight arrival. Guest Services was simply inaccessible, lines never went down. Can’t call the hotel, loops you to a text-only line you have to fumble through to get anyone at the property level to give you the wrong answer or redirect you. Couldn’t find a concierge, so I planned all tours, tickets and reservations myself online when we got there and hoped for the best. (You WILL need dinner reservations if you want to go anywhere decent or reputable. It’s really tough to get a walk-in spot even at a chain like Benihana or Rainforest Cafe. Same with attractions, they will likely sell out.) The Monorail is a huge feature. The Sahara station is outside the hotel up an escalator, over a bridge and back down to the platform. A bit of a trek but accessible if the escalators and elevators are working (they weren’t always). Pro Tip: if you’re heading back to Sahara northbound from The Strip, the last station you want to hop on is at Harrah’s/The Linq. The monorail loops pretty far away from The Strip toward the convention center after Harrah’s, so the rest of the stations after that point are a good 15+ minute walk down side streets and alleys. Otherwise you’re hoofing it all the way back to Sahara, and it’s far (30 minutes) and desolate, nothing to see after the Encore just past Harrah’s/The Linq. We made that brutal mistake one time only!!! Staff sending us to the wrong pool, wrong elevators, wrong rideshare location (missed two Ubers) - it became quite frustrating. Everything is so vast and expansive in Vegas, nobody really seemed to care you’d have to reroute pretty far back the right direction if misguided. Really stinks if you have a reservation or timed activity planned. Property signage is absolutely terrible, completely lacking. You just learn to fend for yourself here. Shout out to Housekeeping - the room and property were amazingly clean, and they were the only staff that were a) regularly accessible and b) absolutely friendly and willing to help. Things like this just make you really resent the resort fee and become quite frustrating. The property presents well and is amazingly clean, but lacks service and functionality overall once you’re on site. You’re just one of the masses here.
SAHARA has anti-accessibility policies around mobility
SAHARA has anti-accessibility policies around mobility scooters, unfortunately. When I saw that in the fine print after booking a room directly through SAHARA's website, I was discouraged. I went to the hotel desk before the rental mobility scooters arrived so I could ask for the supposed required permit from the manager. The hotel clerk I spoke to said, "It should be fine." When my travel companion needed to leave the scooter downstairs and pick it back up later, one day it was tolerated by bell services. The next day, the bell services person was unkind and embarrassed her for needing to again leave the scooter downstairs while we went about our day. When I provided feedback the following day to bell services colleagues, they defended his behavior and told me that the hotel president forbid them to deal with mobility scooters because they "didn't like it." Then one of them snidely said "Is this the problem child?" when my travel companion pulled up during the conversation. It was uncalled for and unprofessional. There is no room service and food delivery services must be met in the hotel lobby. It is inconvenient. Apparently there's a policy against sleeping or resting your eyes while seated in the small seating area near the bell services desk. A staff person told an older lady near me that she wasn't allowed to sleep there, despite her sitting up and not disturbing anyone else but him. Bizarre. They can waive a resort fee, but they don't tell you that unless you ask or overhear them do it for someone else. The WiFi, supposedly included in the resort fee, didn't work for me at all. It showed an error message each time I tried to connect. The elevators are difficult to use with mobility scooters. They are not timed for accessibility. Getting in and out of the hotel rooms with the scooters is also challenging and not accessible. The Marra double beds smoking room we were in was too bright in the mornings because the shade was not thoroughly covering the window. The Marra room bathrooms have slider doors that do not really close or fully cover the bathroom door. The Marra king bed nonsmoking room was nicer. The bed was more comfortable and there were long heavy curtains that kept the room dark. The housekeeping folks and Etc. store staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Magic Mike Live theater staff were professional, welcoming, and accommodating before and during the performance.
Although I have never stayed here, I didn't know what a GEM
Although I have never stayed here, I didn't know what a GEM this was. My room was fabulous! The room was clean and modern. It's posted at the very being of the Strip by Circus Circus. So it's definitely on the quieter side. The lobby was very busy after I got checked in. There is a small bar in the lobby, stores in the hotel and a Starbucks. Customer service was friendly. Ambiance is festive! It's Vegas baby! So if in the area, give it a try.
Decent hotel with some surprises! My husband and I are
Decent hotel with some surprises! My husband and I are Formula 1 fans and made plans to attend the Vegas Grand Prix. We wanted a hotel that was close to the race without being in the middle of the madness, and we refused to pay $800 a night. Sahara came through! I had never stayed at this property so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised with almost everything. Valet was a breeze, the check in process was painless, and everyone we encountered was friendly. I also really liked that it was super quick to get from the front desk to our room. We didn't have to weave our way through a casino or trek a mile to the elevator. We were given a room in the Alexandria Tower and it was, umm, interesting. It was clean and comfortable enough, but the walls had fabric hanging down in an effort to give the room a Roman type vibe. There was also a peekaboo shower which was unexpected. The door to the toilet/WC portion of the bathroom had a swing door that left quite a gap so there was zero privacy for whoever was in there. We did feel safe. We were coming back to the hotel in the early morning hours and Security ensured we were registered guests before we could take the elevator. I appreciated this. An unpleasant surprise was not being able to order room service. This was a shock! And the tight elevator security meant that no outside food delivery services could get to our room. We could meet the delivery driver in the lobby, or go to one of the restaurants and get our food to go. But no room service!!
Stayed Feb 2024.
This was the least hospitable hotel I have EVER been to, just being honest. I don't have any horror stories about bed bugs or dirty rooms, the housekeeping was probably the best part of the hotel. However, the service, babyyyy the service --just terrible. The older lady the front desk, Jane I believe her name was, was very rude in every encounter I had with her. Not only was she not very welcoming or helpful, she provided no details about amenities or what there was to do in the hotel. It doesn't appear like she enjoys herself at all and the hotel is doing themselves a huge disservice by having her the first person some guests encounter. The texting service for "anything you need" is also a joke. Everything I asked for, they couldn't do. They said the water was complimentary and we could just ask for more, but when I did, they said they couldn't bring it to me and that I should visit the store in the lobby and pay $6 for a bottle of water. I asked for a knife, they said they couldn't provide. There are like 6 restaurants IN THE HOTEL, I cant get a knife?! Like I said, no "horror" stories abut blood on sheets or anything like that. But when you have so many choices, this one, I would just skip over.
I lucked out when I found out I was staying at the SAHARA
I lucked out when I found out I was staying at the SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel. I thought to myself...I'll be camping in the SAHARA Desert next. ;-) I heard it was a fairly new hotel. When I checked in, I was pleased by the customer service right away and by the guest perks they had available during my stay. I instantly loved its luxurious vibe, bright lights, and attractive decor. My room was stunning and looked clean. I'm a bathroom person so I couldn't wait to take a long hot shower after a long day with traveling but noticed that the water only can get warm to lukewarm. Later, I also discovered the walls were thin...I can hear my neighbors. Aside from a few shortcomings, there were so much to do at this hotel. You can go for a swim, see shows like Magic Mike, dance the night away at Latin Night on Fridays, gamble away at the casinos and eat/drink away at the restaurants/bars - everything is here...your one-stop-shop. So in a nut shell, I enjoyed my stay at SAHARA and will go back. FYI - It is located on the South Strip with access to the Monorail.
STOLE MY PURSE AND WENT THROUGH MY UNDERWEAR DO NOT STAY
STOLE MY PURSE AND WENT THROUGH MY UNDERWEAR DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Police report has been filled. We will see how the hotel responds and will update this review if they help. I'll be sharing my experience on Tik Tok and instagram to my followers aswell. Also, when we first arrived to the room there was pee on the sheets.
Checked into the Sahara hotel around 4pm.
Reported urine stains on sheets to front desk after checking in. Room service came in and changed sheets. After brushing our teeth and getting ready for dinner, we reported that the bathroom sink was clogged. We left the room and went to dinner and a show. Upon our return, noticed my girlfriend's underwear and private clothing was thrown across the room. Also noticed her Louis Vuitton purse was stolen, a bag of bread/belongings left in the room by the thief which was picked up by hotel security, and a half burnt cigarette on the night stand. Sahara hotel report number is: 24-1462. Disgusting room, disgraceful staff, and hands down the worst hotel in Vegas. STAY FAR AWAY.
Disrespectful and horrible staff Horrible and lazy

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
