Had an amazing evening! Henry was our server and he was phenomenal. Highly recommend this restaurant. Incredible food, service and ambiance. Definitely adding this to my regular BK rotation. Yum. What a delicious and fun night out!
Be the first to ReplyI ended up coming here after some other plans fell through.
I was surprised at how narrow the space is inside but they really know how to pack in the crowd. I would suggest the outdoor or patio seating area for arm and leg room if you come here. Service was excellent, impressive drink menu, and very good use of spices and seasoning for all dishes. The pricing for some items is a little high considering the portion size and ingredients utilized to make them, but you have to keep in mind the area you're in.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and the staff were fantastic too.
The reason for the dropped star is I don't like the restaurant at all, mainly sitting at long counters with fierce aircon. If they had cosy booths, we'd be back way more

Exceptional! Seafood was so fresh and tasted amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My girlfriend and I highly recommend asking their opinion.Highly recommend the whipped mackerel, shrimp and clam dishes. I'm not a fan of cilantro but the sauces, and quality of seafood was so good I didn't mind.

While the staff and cocktails at Saint Julivert are wonderful, the food is pretentious as fuck. With excitement, my party of four ordered the anchovies, assuming there would be a pile of nicely grilled fish coming to us. What a surprise when what we actually received were THREE paper thin, anchovy filets! Who filets anchovies!?! This was followed by a number of other odd tasting and or under or overcooked plates (skate was undercooked to the point of appearing as if it was raw chicken; wagyu steak was overcooked to the point of being chewy like a hangar steak). All the plates were beyond tiny and there were no options beyond a crudite plate and a chicory salad for vegetables or sides. The precious nature of the food is extremely odd for a restaurant in Brooklyn.
Be the first to ReplySuper fresh and innovative seafood.
Every dish we had was excellent. Loved the clams and squid a la plancha as well as the crudos
Be the first to ReplyIf you ask me if I like raw fish, I'd say no.
But here, as with Le Bernardin, everything is delicious. I actually crave one of their simplest dishes--whipped mackerel with toast. And the clams. And save room for dessert because they are sublime.

Very new to Spanish/seafood In terms of flavor and this was a big surprise. Im personally not a big fish/seafood fan but this was a great local neighborhood restaurant. Creative and fun flavors, really loved the squid a la Planch. The pine nut sauce, squid ink sauce was a good one. Flavorful, depth in flavor yet not overwhelming.

Finally tried Saint Julivert and we were so blown away that we went back 4 days later. Every course was a delicious surprise. I would eat the whipped mackerel with grilled bread every day of my life. The amberjack, the shrimp, the anchovies, all great. Interesting wines, and smart, friendly service. Despite the weather, we ate in their heated outdoor area and were fine. Our favorite new spot.

Hours are actually 5-9:30 on weekends (not sure about the rest of the week). The bartender, Anna, was amazing. She provided excellent service and was extremely knowledgeable about their wine and food selections, so I felt guided in my decisions during my stay. The sweet potatoes were delicious (I did not know sweet potatoes could taste so good), and the cocktail Puerto Escondido was so refreshing without being too summery. I also tried the Amberjack, something I wouldn't have chosen normally since it is basically nigiri, but it was DELICIOUS.10/10 great experience, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner out. It felt like an experience and the attentive service from Anna was what really solidified it for me. Thanks to everyone!

Delicious food (fish tacos are a stand out) and staff is great. Wish it was still open for lunch!
Be the first to ReplySo friggin' good! Period.
Ordered the clam chowder and fish tacos for delivery... was beyond impressed with the flavors. I had to calm the restaurant and tell them (note: I am very hard to impress).

A cozy spot in Cobble Hill, Saint Julivert is a perfect wine-bar spot to split small plates at the bar or over small tables. The decor is sparse and modern with creative Art Deco touches. The restaurant itself is quite small, with bar seating at the front and back and just a few small tables. The plates are small, but creative and well-executed. We split the octopus carpaccio and seafood sausage with mushrooms and lentils. The dishes were quite light and not very filling. While it was fun to try new dishes and enjoy the atmosphere, the restaurant is overpriced and not somewhere to go if you're looking for a full meal.

Went for Valentine's day and it was so great! All of our dishes were fantastic. The menu changes and there is always something unique. Wanted to get 2 of everything! Staff was busy (it was packed!) But they were super friendly. Recommend making a reservation. My favorite dish was the Dorade in parchment. My husband loved the Uni

I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Best seafood in Brooklyn and one of the best in NYC! Great service last night with Vera Alba and Anna at the bar--always have the skate and mackerel--definitely go if you're into fish--great meal and lovely people.

Incredible food! Went here for an anniversary dinner and we shared 4 dishes and dessert- hush puppies, chicory salad, skate, lobster pozole and key lime semifreddo. The skate was particularly notable. The place is very small and most seating is at the bar or a communal hi-top table. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

The food is delicious, yes, but it has such a strong sense of vision -- a celebration of fish preparations around the world, from grilled hamachi collar to tuna noodle casserole. It makes for a fun outing. The space is damn sexy too.

This restaurant won Priceless Cities Best New Bistro for 2019. So of course I had to try it. I ordered the whipped mackerel and the crispy tuna bake. They also gave me the anchovies when they made a mistake of putting in my order. The anchovies was really good paired with the vanilla butter and bread. I wouldn't want to order it just for myself. It's too much anchovies for me. I really enjoyed the whipped mackerel. It's very delicious with a little bit of spice. I didn't enjOy the crispy tuna bake. They did disclose that it's like a tuna casserole. There was nothing crispy about the dish except maybe bits of charred macaroni. I am still planning to come back and bringing my friends with me. They have a good selection of wine as well.
