I am reviewing based on the other dishes served that I tried. My sister had the mushroom risotto which was wonderful but I had a ravioli appetizer which I expected it to be a smaller portion since I wasn't hungry but it was literally one single ravioli for $16 dollars which was way overpriced. This is a nice location but def pricey.

Mario and the Whole team make us feel like Family!
Yes, ALL the food is beyond amazing here. You MUST get the spaghetti! Yet again, what makes this place ultra special is the service. Mario and the whole bar team go above and beyond. We usually end up sitting here for hours chatting with other guest and employees. We have NEVER had a bad meal here, always leave Happy and Full :)
Dinner was amazing, the view was amazing, our server Travis was absolutely amazing! A perfect night. Well worth the cost!

Asked the waiter why our food was taking so long and he said the kitchen was backed up because they weren't expecting to be so busy. Sounds like bullshit. Everyone had reservations. There's no way the kitchen shouldn't have been more prepared.

While the atmosphere was great my food was less than phenomenal. I ordered the gnocchi dish. The presentation was pretty but the gnocchi themselves had no consistency. It was like they melted. As an Italian girl gnocchi are a huge favorite and I was hugely disappointed. The sausage lacked flavor also. It wasn't a traditional pork sausage and I was looking forward to it. It just tasted bland. I barely ate 1/2 of my dinner. Staff either didn't notice or didn't care. For the price, I expected much more and was quite disappointed.

If you make a reservation a month in advance for your anniversary and ask for a window table, just know they will have you wait a half hour past your reservation time while they seat people who walk up with no reservations while you continue to wait, only to give you a crappy table against the wall. And, parties who came after you with no reservation nice tables. Manager gives two zeroes; completely mismanaged. We came in December and had a lovely meal with family, but serious nosedive since then.

This is a lovely place and our table overlooked the Billagio fountains. The service was spot on and very knowledgeable. We split the Caesar salad which was cold and crisp....don't miss the anchovies. Also split the burrata which was very good. My colleagues had the spaghetti and the sauce was delightful. I had the angiotti (sp) which was a dish made by angels. One of the best things I have ever eaten. We finished with the salted caramel dessert which capped a perfect meal. Don't miss Scarpetta's.

Perfect date night dinner with great views of the Bellagio
Perfect date night dinner with great views of the Bellagio fountains! The branzino was outstanding! Perfectly cooked with crisp skin & super moist, soft inside, it was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. The raisins, tomato sauce and chard was unexpected and complex, but the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The spaghetti was the best spaghetti I've ever had. I was skeptical at first too, but trust me, it's worth a try. I never knew such a simple dish could be so tasty.Mushroom risotto was on special that night, which I was ecstatic about because I'd been craving risotto. It was good, but nothing exceptional. Very rich and cooked perfectly. The assortment of complimentary bread is great as well. I loved the eggplant spread that accompanied the bread. We were so full after these 3 dishes and bread that we didn't even get dessert. The service was excellent. Quick and easy. They also split our pasta and risotto into 2 plates without us having to ask.Be sure to request a view of the fountains. If not, you might get stuck by the bar, where the ambience is completely different.

We had reservations for shortly after the restaurant opened on a Sunday night. We showed up right at opened and they were able to take us early and sat us right at the window with a view of the Bellagio fountains. The view was stunning. The fountains went off at the top and half hour. Our service was impeccable. We started with the calamari and it was such a huge order. Really meant for 4+ people, not for 2. But it was just ok as well. We ordered the spaghetti which was delicious. They asked if I wanted to add meatballs and honestly I said yes but ended up not needing them. My husband ordered the pasta bolognese. It was good.

I love this place so much, and it's become one of the places I bring out of town friends when they're in Vegas. First off the place is very simply decorated, has these adorable cozy round booths lining the wall opposite the bar, and a lot of tables have views of the famous fountains next door. Everyone I've ever encountered there has been incredibly kind, especially Chris, Mike and adriana. Every time I've been they've been very attentive and helpful with dietary restrictions I have, and even though my options are limited I have zero complaints. The gf spaghetti is one of the best pasta dishes ive ever had, and it's shockingly simple in terms of what the dish is. I finally brought my partner, along with a longtime friend I've taken before and her friend from out of town. Partners mind was blown, and the facial we expressions after trying each thing (down to the stuffed bread) were great. They have Nutella donuts. Enough said. But it comes with a scoop of banana gelato they make from scratch. It is unlike any frozen dessert I've ever had, and they give you like 5 decent size stuffed donuts. If you're in Vegas you need to go here. It's well worth the prices, make a reservation and you won't be disappointed.

Overall a very good Italian meal, and wonderful experience.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it wasn't the best meal we had in vegas... Went for a girls trip, very convenient as we were staying in the cosmopolitan. Food - 4.5/5 - very good, loved the elaborate bread basket (foccacia, sourdough, stuffed breads!) and dips (mascarpone butter, citrus olive oil, eggplant caponata). I got the duck & foie gras ravioli, which was incredible - but portion sizes overall were a bit too large to enjoy a sampling of more dishes. Other people at the table loved the Brussel sprouts, tagliatelle with lamb sauce and burrata, and our espresso martinis! Definitely pricey, you get tons of food - but, I'd honestly prefer a touch cheaper and much smaller portions.Service - 5/5 - we had a hilarious waiter! So fun and attentive, brought over the sommelier when he saw we were struggling, and was good to keep in mind our theater time so we got out in time. Ambiance - 4/5 - the classic, dark, romantic Italian vibe. We had the best seat in the house, with views of the Bellagio fountain show - but I could see how other seats would be too loud, dark, or busy.
🤮
They cancelled our reservation the day before.
Jerks. Would not count on being able to sit down even if you have a reservation, apparently.

Delicious Food and Amazing Views
Dinner was delicious! The views of the Fountains and the strip were amazing. Loved the bartenders and their drinks.

Fantastic food and service…loved every minute of it! Beautiful view of the Bellagio Fountains and the Vegas Strip…best spaghetti and basil I’ve ever tasted..angolotti pasta filled with short rib was wonderful as well! Top off the meal with a nice Cabernet Sav (Duckhorn) and tiramisu for dessert…couldn’t ask for a better evening!
🙂
Great food & service! Reserve a fountain view table in advance.
Ate with friends (2 couples) and were able to stop in on a Thursday evening for dinner without a reservation. While we weren't able to get a fountain view table, we were happy with one of the 'nooks' by the bar. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The entrees are unique, delicious and didn't take long to wait. Pricey, but this is Vegas, right? A great place to spring for your first night in town before choosing lower-cost options on the strip.
🙂
Great food and service. ..
This has nice view of Bellagio fountains! Great food and service. Will definitely dine here again and highly recommend!

Nice Upscale Restaurant at Cosmo
Great ambiance and the food was delicious. Their pasta is fantastic and not overly priced ($26-$40). Try to get a window seat and you won’t regret the view while you eat. Unlike some of the other restaurants in the Cosmo, the music is not loud and you can actually have a conversation while you dine. We will return.
😍
Amazing food me service!
Compliments to the chef! Chef Vitangeli served amazing food and it was delicious! Didn’t wait long at all! Fast service without sacrificing quality of all the dishes served. Top notch! Will come again and will highly recommend the restaurant to family and friends.
Just finished dinner at Scarpetta. The food was decent as was the service. Nothing was truly excellent except for the beet salad starter...which was out of this world. My veal chop "parm" was just OK as was the mushroom side dish. As I was dining solo, I sat at the bar. Service was decent...but again...not excellent. Nothing about my experience would make me rate Scarpetta as one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in Vegas. It was good but not more than that. In the end, I gave Scarpetta four stars even though it was really three and a half. Trip Advisor does not allow half stars so I averaged up to four even though my experience was not four stars.
