Last time the food good and the service was not. This time everything was close to perfection. Starters of shellfish bisque and goat's cheese were excellent. My dover sole and my wife's tempura prawns were fantastic. The mashed potatoes were the best we ever had. An unbeatable seafood meal.

We had been looking forward to coming to Scotts for a good few months. And it was as amazing as we thought it would be. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic! The mas potato is the nicest mash I have ever had in my life, can't waitto come back

Just hand to cancel lunch booking because my wife just became unwell. Charging us £100 for that is a joke. We spend thousands of pounds per year there. Just look up all the bookings under Sharon Heydon. Take £100 but you just lost our business forever

We booked Scott’s for my wife’s birthdays and went with another couple. We had not been to the restaurant for a few years but it was superb as it always had been. I would highly recommend. My only observation is that it does not offer a bar area for a pre/ post meal drink

Laid back atmosphere. Attentive friendly service. Delicious meal from start to finish. The Oysters were super, as was the Coconut & Lime sorbet. Throughly recommend.

If you are visiting London and look for fish restaurant don’t miss to come to Scott’s. Very good service and food quality, nice atmosphere and is centrally located !
Be the first to ReplyOver priced over crowded and greedy….pity as waiting on staff pleasant.
Doormen welcoming is very nice. Met by a charming coat taking person. Escorted to a pushy hostess that had little if no charisma and escorted to a table that gave you 6 inches of space to the next couple totally money grabbing and unacceptable….stated if that’s all they have for me we are out of here…..they found a better table. The place is too crowded and is very uncomfortable no mater how good the food is there are better places with good food within a stones throw that don’t demand that for two people you have “ one and a half hours “ to eat and get out. Really they could care less as they are busy…if you don’t mind being abused this is your place….I’m sure they give you indigestion pills with the bill. Food good not great but good. Prices excessive. Ambiance….get real🤦 ♂️‼️

12 is twelve and no one shall enter until then ! Great buzz and full of busy business people and tourist who came to enjoy , you can feel the history. Super service, super food with all that comes with a place of such high repute. Loved the experience .

One of the best meals we have ever had, the service was just impeccable- the food was amazing, could not fault a single thing.
Be the first to ReplySerious Fish Restaurant
It's a fish restaurant so that's what you eat and they do it really well. My dishes were potted shrimp followed by half lobster thermidor and the Paris -Brest which I haven't seen on a menu for years. The later was good if slightly overcooked, a bit too crispy. The general quality of the cooking was first class. The wine is expensive!!
Be the first to ReplySuperb food, service average
The resturant is very nice and airy and with very comfortabe seats. The food could not be faulted, with the Dover Sole and Cod mains outstanding. The Paris- Brest dessert was excellent and the starters were also very good. What was disappointing was the service with other tables given better service and when time to order the dessert arrived {an hour into the meal} the waiter looked at his watch and muttered about having time to order it! As a result we felt rushed and 'on the clock'. In fairness the coffees were complemetary and the service charge was waived.

Hi we visited Scotts restaurant on Sunday 24th July & were really looking forward to it after recommendations from friends & customers. My partner & l have been in the fish & seafood business for last 37 years so this was our forte, however we were left very disappointed with the food & service. We ordered drinks which took about 20 minutes to arrive & the bar was literally behind us.My wife & partners wife ordered King prawns for starters which were bland at best.I had Langoustines & was asked if I wanted them peeled but choose to shell them myself. On arrival I realised these had been previously frozen as the eyes were dull & sunken but they did taste nice but would have been far superior fresh. My partner had razor clams which were excellent. For mains my wife had the Monkfish which was nice,my partner’s wife had Lobster which had also been previously frozen or overcooked as it was hard to get tail meat out of shell. If it was previously frozen this is hard to comprehend as Lobsters are in season & plentiful. For mains my partner & I ordered the special for 2,Fresh Turbot. On arrival we realised it was a farmed Turbot which is not in same league as a wild.Maybe because we were only dressed casual that we never received the best service or didn’t arrive in a prestige car as we walked to the restaurant. Some people may be fooled by previously frozen or farmed but after nearly 40 years in business we aren’t & wouldn’t recommend to anyone,

Horrible service. When we arrived the host did not even look at us and questioned our booking. When we finally were seated (with no excuse made) it was impossible to get hold of the waiters throughout the service. The wine we wanted to order was sold out. We asked to have coffee with our desserts which never arrived. Only when we had asked three times and finished our desserts were the coffees finally brought to the table. The waiters were rude and seemed annoyed that we tried to get hold of them. Extremely disappointing!

Be the first to ReplyBest Fish Restaurant Anywhere!
We dined at Scott's with my family of 5. What an Amazing Experience! Everything we ordered was fresh and prepared with the utmost care. The tastes were out of this world. Our waiter and the entire staff were so accommodating. They suggested the perfect bottle of wine and brought out Gluten Free options for the 2 in my party that have celiac. We loved the Mixed Heritage Beetroots and our Sea Bass, Cod and Halibut dinners were outstanding. The Paris-Brest dessert is incredible! By far the best fish restaurant I've been to.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent restaurant for many years.
My wife and I are regulars at this restaurant and it never disappoints us. It offers a great atmosphere and seafood. The wine list is very good, although expensive.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, service, location
We were in London on a trip from Scottsdale, AZ and Scott’s was recommended to us. We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the lobster and baked trout were incredible. World class restaurant, food and service.

Scott’s was great. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The trout was wonderful. My wife’s salmon was done in a manner I have never tasted before. Apps were awesome and dessert really good. The service was excellent. I can see why it is hard to get a table here.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for seafood!
First off, lots of options for seafood both with the starters and the entrees. Dressed crab starter was very tasty. Hake fish dish was delicious. My wife had the asparagus appetizer with poached egg and morel mushrooms which she enjoyed. She also had the full portion lobster thermidor which again she enjoyed. Not off the charts but very good. Service was spotty….some were super friendly and engaging while others, particularly the person pouring the wine never said a word and her face was frozen stiff! Very pleasant atmosphere! Wine was crazy expensive for this category of restaurant. The night before we ate at Le Gavroche which is a far more upscale restaurant with more reasonable wine markups.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, service was a little slow
Great good (cod oysters and prawns), loved the bread on arrival, front desk very attentive, ordering was slow and filling of the wine glasses was very slow which is the only reason why I didn’t score a 5
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed
After being a regular customer at Scott’s , I felt on my last visit the whole place had changed and not for the better.
The clientele it attracts now are more into FaceTimeing friends from there tables talking loadly and are rude to the lovely Scott’s staff. Was made to feel uncomfortable, not like the Scott’s of old which always felt special, won’t be returning.
Food is good and staff are very professional.
London’s finest seafood restaurant
We enjoyed a great lunch on Mother’s Day. The staff were fantastic especially our host Slawek who was great with us and the children.
Despite it being extremely busy the staff were friendly and attentive which made it a nice afternoon.
This is one of our favourite seafood restaurants in London and every time we dine here it never disappoints.
All the dishes were great especially the scallops and my John Dury.
The restaurant is family friendly for sure and we’re able to accommodate dishes for my children.
I had noticed when I got home that I was overcharged for alcohol and I call the restaurant up the day after and they had apologised and a manager will be calling me. Great service.
This is must visit if you want excellent service and delicious seafood in London
Fine dining in a lively environment
My first visit and it certainly didn't disappoint! A superb experience from being greeted by the doorman, through to leaving.
All the staff were really knowledgeable and made great recommendations.
There was a pleasant lively vibe from all around the other lunchtime diners.
I would definitely suggest booking in advance as this restaurant is very popular.
