Just Friendly!
We decided to stop by this little shop based on the solid reviews. Was a wise choice. The owner has a very cool vibe and is awesomely friendly. He talked about the island, hurricane, spices, etc...and we listened intently. Was like taking to your cool neighbor. He showed us his favorite spices and let us smell. I could not image leaving without buying something. We bought several items and use them frequently. Took a pic of a couple of favorites. Parking may be hard on a busy day and time but cruise around the shopping area to eventually find one, then make sure to stop by Sea Spice and say “hi” for us.

This was our third time visiting St. Barts, but my husband and I had never stopped in Sea Spice. I'm so glad we did this past week. We stopped in the shop before heading over to St. Jean beach. The gentleman working there (maybe the owner?) was extremely friendly and helpful, and really seemed to enjoy educating customers on the different spices. We bought two types of curry and he gave us great suggestions for recipes.
The shop also offers some other items, other than spices, that are created by local artists, such as shirts, jewelry, artwork, etc. For a nice, friendly shopping experience, and if you want to support local business owners and artists, I recommend a stop in Sea Spice.
Feels like a visit with old friends. A unique experience!
A very friendly place. You feel like you are visiting with an old friend when you stop by the shop. Many unique items -- artistic creations at are original. And the spices -- something for everyone, spicy, sweet, salty -- it is all yummy. And then there are the rums and jams. Everything is o so good. A must stop for those who want to make authentic island food, or bring something special home.

Manu and Flo are absolutely wonderful. we enjoyed every moment spent in their boutique, smelling, sipping rhum, testing receipts and talking about fishing, cooking, sailing,. They are really friendly and everyone should test their joyful passion for life and fun.

You will walk away with some unique items and a story to tell about what you purchased. The gentleman working in the store sells the still. We purchased some liquor and a LeGall T-shirt. Got some free spices thrown in with our purchase. Being able to engage with a local who loves what they do is what makes this place successful.
