..The food here is great. I've had the short rib, filet mignon and meatballs. All were cooked perfectly and flavorful. The staff is very friendly and attentive.Is it Mastro's, Joe's, Bazaar? Not exactly, but it also doesn't have the price tag of those spots, so manage your expectations and you will enjoy this place. I have zero regrets.
First time trying Hawthorn steakhouse and we did not disappoint. Great experience from start to finish. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfect! We will be back for sure!
The service by the host staff, our server Camille, food runners are always a delight and Terry the manager was perfection. Beef carpaccio, delicate and so flavorful.Baked French onion soup was a hit.Scallops a personal favorite.Banana Split was a delicious way to end the meal. Thank for taking such great care of us, it's truly a wonderful feeling being made to feel welcome and at home. Keep up the great job everyone. Don't let me order the espresso martini next time I was awake until 4 a.m. ! haha I should know better, but they're so darn good! See you soon.

Go across the street to echo and rig or anywhere nearby and you'll get a larger menu with better food for less money. I ordered the porter house and my wife got the scallops. My steak was not seared properly and had little to no flavor which is totally unacceptable for an $82 steak. My wife's scallops... I could smell as they were being brought to the table, and she wasn't actually able to eat because they were so fishy / gummy. So they were either not fresh and/or not cooked properly. On a positive note, the wine and old fashioned we had were good. Even if they didn't properly stir the old fashioned and I had to wait for it to chill in the glass.. Go elsewhere, unless you like paying high dining prices for bad food and a nice atmosphere.
I was really surprised to not see 4 or 5 star rating for Hawthorne Grill... so here's another 5 star.Great service, great ambiance, amazing out door patio, amazing wine selection, and amazing food!Whoever said the sides are small must be a gluttonist. I ordered the scallops, my mom ordered the sea bass, and we shared the mixed mushrooms.Beautiful presentation and everything was delicious!
We were looking forward to dinner and had to make alternate plans because last seating is 45 minutes prior to close. If that's the restaurant's policy, it should be advertised on their website since that's outside of the norm.
My family and I had Christmas Eve dinner and although it is very expensive it's definitely not worthy. Two of our four meals were cold and one of the Two ruined after we sent it back to warmed up; The manager took one of the meals off and gave us desert on the house, we will never go back, it completely ruined our Experience but we felt blessed to be together, and sad about our dinner. The service personal are very nice and helpful
As soon as we walked in we were greeted and was shown to our table. I really like the ambiance of this place. When we were shown to our table a very attentive waiter came by and welcomed us and gave us the menu. We started off with the seafood trio appetizer along with the 1/2 dozen oysters. That was delicious! My fiancé got a Martini and he said that it was perfect! For his main course he had the surf and turf fillet and lobster. Let's just say he devoured the whole thing, but hey for $112 he should! He said it was delicious as well. I had the 24oz bone in ribeye it was cooked very nice and I even had leftovers cause it was pretty big. I had to get the scallops cause it looked so good my fiancé and I shared it! It was really good!!!! For dessert I had to order the cheesecake which was surprisingly different, it was served in a jar and was very soft. The cheesecake was made with goat cheese, it's different from the usual but good flavors. Next we had the banana Sunday, that was Terrific!! Yummmm!! And the last dessert was the vanilla creme brûlée! I love cream brûlée!!! Yumm! The presentation of everything was great we had a good time! Our waiter was amazing as well.
Prices in Dinong room are PRICEY! Decided to get Wedge salad and onion soup since prices were so high Both were amazing and more than enough. Best bacon I have ever tasted. Came back next night for happy hour. This was a great bargain. Drinks were strong and unique. Food was great
