You can easily spend 100 here and leaving feeling like that's it??? This is like cafeteria style, people waiting and fighting over tables. Reviews are misleading. The seafood is mediocre, their preparation technique is basic, boil or fried. The menu said "World Famous Clam chowder" in sour dough bread bowl...so guess what, I ordered it! child changed those words! World famous for mediocrity maybe!! I have a sweet spot for fish and chips...so guess what? Yep, got that too! and the verdict? Mediocre again. The seafood are ordered on a separate side, so I got the seafood sampler to be safe. You could have gone to the local market and boiled them yourself. Throw in 2 drinks and tip..,and there goes a Benjamin! Lots of people though...so ur sure to run into rude people fighting for a table. Oh and the bathroom are those portable toilets...so with lots of people ...it's bound to be nasty!Summary advice:Pack a lunch with drinks, go to the bathroom before u get here..,and dress appropriately to climb down and take a walk along the beach to soak in the scenery. Attached is their menu. Each person has their own taste..,but there r lots of seafood establishments along PCH that this is not the place to drop a Benjie. Will not be back, not into waiting in line or fighting for tables over cafeteria style seafood.

It's a zoo battle all the people for a seat and when you get your other it's just blah. I came here when I was a child and REmeber getting live crab and lobster. So sad to just see the quality go. This place is just for outta towners that want to frat out and make the drive up from la. Way better places you can go with your $

The tables, floors and chairs are grubby and the bathroom option is a super nasty, porta-potty area behind the building. Sort of makes you think... But the excellent selection of cold beverages can't be beat.

Neptune's Net is one of many seafood restaurants along the PCH that overlooks the beach in Malibu.It is known to have been in Fast and Furious, if you're a fan of that series. This particular day that my dog, bf and I visited- there was a huge motorcycle meet up doing tricks in front of the restaurant and driving up and down PCH. It was quite loud and distracting but.... Lunch and a show i guess??They had a decent amount of tables and seats outdoors as well as indoor. It is self serve- You order at the front, they call your number and you get your food and clean after yourself.Their menu covers a variety of things including all things seafood and burgers!We ordered the shrimp & fish basket and a basket of calamari. Both came with a ridiculous amount of fries.Everything tasted more fishier than what I would like. The calamari could've been fried longer and everything could've used more salt/seasoning because everything was pretty bland.Their tartar sauce was A++ and their cole slaw was very tasty but the overall food is mediocre at best.This is a one and done place for me!

So excited to visit and eat lunch here! Delicious food! Visited on Saturday afternoon while visiting Malibu beach. Huge Fast In The Furious movie lover so I knew we had to visit. The food was fresh, crispy and so tasty! I had the calamari and shrimp with fries basket. The portion was pretty big. I had it with their hot sauce, tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. It wasn't enough! We loved the calamari with the lemon for sure! We dined outside for the beautiful beach view. Very fast service! I also purchased souvenirs! Cool place to eat while in Malibu for sure!

I cannot believe people eat here. Their bathrooms are port-o-potties in a filthy hut in the back. The port-o-potty i used was full with feces all up on the side. I served in the Army for long time supporting the infantry and they were cleaner than this place. There was no water to wash hands and have to use sanitizer that people with human feces and urine bacteria on their hands have touched. THEN they go inside and touch the tables and everything. Filthy. The food isn't even good. Worst clam chowder I have ever eaten. It made me vomit in my mouth. Horrible.

Came here since we were in Malibu touring a venue for one of my best friend's wedding. Luckily, right when we got there, we found a table all the way in the back. We sat down with a menu and figured out what we wanted. My friend went to go order while we saved the table. We got the Neptune's net sampler, the sourdough bread bowl with the clam chowder and the seafood ceviche. Sampler and bread bowl were ordered in one line, and ceviche was ordered in another line. Orders came out pretty quickly, so it wasn't too bad even though the place was full of people. -Neptune's net sampler. It said feeds 2-3 people, and we were skeptical because it didn't look like a log in picture. It was good for 2-3 people for sure lol. My favorites were the scallops and shrimp. Calamari, clams and fish were decent. Breading on everything was good and had some flavor. Can't tell if it was frozen seafood for not, but you could tell it wasn't the freshest. 3.5/5-Bread bowl with chowder. The bread bowl was so cold it was not good at all. Clam chowder was tasty (added some salt and pepper), but eating it with the bowl brought it down a lot. Bread bowl was trash if you have to eat it there cold. 2/5-Ceviche. Tasty but you could tell some of the seafood was frozen seafood. Chips weren't salted, so that was a bit odd, but the flavor of the "broth" of the ceviche made up for it. 3.5/5I would recommend if you're in the area and hungry. Nice view of the ocean from the outdoor seating area. Ordering line is fast. Food comes out fast, but it wasn't the best ever by any means.

First off, Chris and Dave are AMAZING.
Always friendly and accommodating. These folks work hard; for the locals and other visitors alike. They all go above and beyond for us! I've been coming here for over 25 years, and now that I have a family of my own, I will return forever. The vibe here is ICONIC. Whether I come in my tuner car or on my motorcycle, I always make friends. I've been coming through the pandemic and they've done everything the could to keep it comfortable and safe for the guests. The food is fair priced and always good, they've never messed up my order. I love the fresh seafood side and the huge selection of beer, too! THIS IS THE SPOT!

The fact I am even on here taking time to write a review is enough evidence to run, not walk, but full-on sprint away from this place. The menu is overwhelming--a lot of selection, but damn near everything is deep fried(which I assume in oil that hasn't been changed out in awhile). Figured hey, let's try the sampler-get a little bit of everything. 39.99 plus tip and two drinks, the bill was over $60. I have some photos to share but the highlight was the "crab cake" A deep fried outbreak mon top of the mound of other questionable fried things. Frankenstein because it tasted as if someone took imitation crab, a little bit of crab, and then put some canned Vienna sausages in a meat grinder and smashed it all together with breadcrumbs before it was--you guessed it--thrown into the vat of oil with the rest of the plate. Calamari was basically rubber bands deep fried, I was hungry enough to have eaten them still but only a fraction had the breading still on them. Sad flakey mess of a plate. Scallops deep fried and nerve racking, didn't seem cooked through. Even the fries were bad--how do you fuck up french fries?!? We left still hungry, but with $60+ less in our pockets. Vinny, you really let us down. XD

Wow, the view here is stunning.
Food aside the view of the ocean right on the PCH is worth coming here. The service is fairly quick and more of an order and pick-up type situation. The fish and chips are a solid choice and I have heard many of the other basket options (shrimp, crab cakes) are good as well. Highly recommend it if you need a quick bite while at the beach since it has a very casual atmosphere.

We ordered the Crabcake burger and Tuna melt and they were both great. The workers are fast and friendly. Loved it

Top of the line fresh seafood.
One of the freshest seafood spots I have experienced in my life time. This is a must do when on the west coast and for the die hard Fast and Furious fans as one makes it a point to visit sites from the Fast and Furious movies. Parking is a little tricky if you don't mind the walk. The views and beach opportunities are amazing down the Pacific Coast Highway after you finish eating.

Neptune’s Net is truly a neat experience. This famous location was outstanding. I ate way too much because there were so many good choices! I had the fish and chips, and truly the VERY BEST CLAM CHOWDER! After spending so much time in New England, this clam chowder is superior. In addition, the raw oysters were great!! So many good beers to chose from as well. Truly a cool experience at a movie location setting! Thank you Neptune’s Net for such a great meal!

TLDR:
AT will add a category for prepaid reservations which will let you set the value of what you have prepaid which will then create a 'bid premium' + equity value of your reservation. At the moment it is all-in.
You can upload the reservation and set the asking price in a way that will satisfy your entire expense.
