The food was expensive but delicious.
The vibe is unlike anywhere else in Miami with beautiful decorations and ambiance.

I wanted to just stop by and have one cocktail and ended up
I wanted to just stop by and have one cocktail and ended up staying the whole night. Listen I get the hype because truth be told, this joint is just extravagantly beautiful inside. The decor, the ambiance, the crowd, the bathrooms...all screams SUPERIOR and I'm here for it but the food and the prices are just exorbitant for the portions you receive. So after this visit I've determined and this is my opinion and my only which might be unpopular, this is just an excellent happy hour or cocktail bar at most. I did love the vibes and the cocktails were as delicious as they were well crafted and strong so no complaints there but let's talk about the food a little bit....Tamarind Honey Comb and Yuzu Mint are two of the best cocktails I've tried in a while. Don't ask me the recipe for I didn't ask or read on it but just trusted the bartenders. Both were refreshing, flavorsome and nicely mixed and crafted while packing a good punch. Not too pricey so that's a plus considering the location.Wagyu Gyoza: for $42 I'd expect at least 5 pieces not 3 but in all honesty these dumplings were really good and that truffle always makes the difference. Very flavorful and decadent filling and the foie gras makes it different than most gyoza. These weren't small by means but c'mon for that price don't be stingy people.Soft shell crab Maki: won't complain too much because for $21 you get two of these and yes I know 2 isn't a lot but considering the pricing for most items here this wasn't particularly a bad deal. I just didn't think much of it other than it is nicely presented and that crunchy tail is what stood out the most but I'd never order this item again and you won't be missing out on anything.Chef's selection Nigiri: ok again this is just me, but 8 pieces for $62 is not the best or worst pricing I've seen but just like the maki, I was a bit disappointed in this dish. I mean listen, the fish was definitely fresh, the plate looked pretty but it was just bland to me and I'd skip on this one too. Between this Nigiri and the Maki we are talking about almost $100 for underwhelming flavor and not feeling completely satisfied at the end. I was ok with it because I had dinner somewhere else before walking in here and just decided to try the food anyways but there are far better priced joints in town with better flavor and portions, just saying. What I will say is that at least at the bar area where I spent all my time the service is top tier, top notch and what you would expect in a fine establishment as such. I'd be coming back for those cocktails again but skipping in the food solely based on my experience which is subject to change, who knows.

Service: get ready to be rush out of the restaurant after your 1 hour reservation time. Food: small bite size meal for price. The food was good. Ambiance: Again they will rush you out, and make sure you leave by the time your reservation is over.

While Sexy Fish Miami boasts an impressive
While Sexy Fish Miami boasts an impressive underwater-themed decor that transports you to another world, the overall experience fell short for me. The service was decent, but the food was overpriced and just okay. The signature drinks lacked taste and alcohol content. If you're looking for a unique ambiance, it's worth a one time visit.
way over priced. Average food, nice decor and ok service. RUDE manager, the "security guy" at the entrance got into a fight with us for standing. outside after dropping 2K he was rude, crude a bully and even pushed a 23yr old girl that was with us, after telling her to F**k herself. that guy is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Stay away from this place, much better food at Nobu, nicer people anywhere, and better environment at Dirty French. Avoid getting raped with the mediocre food and sky high check.

When you think about what Miami is in a restaurant version, I'd say this location is one of them. It's a definitely about to the decor and presentation. The food I had was the most amazing and flavorful fish I've had in a while. This is a great location for a date or business meeting or just a casual time. During the night, this restaurant turns into a nightclub. The Services also phenomenal. I came for their lunch special for $29 and I think it was so worth it and more. The lunch special comes with five different plates.

While the ambiance, staff, and photo opportunities are great, the food is mid, at best, for the price. We ordered five dishes and were still extremely hungry after. The best dish by far was the duck & watermelon salad, while the dumplings & fried rice were basically flavorless. The sashimi, while fresh, was paper thin and lacked flavor. If you're coming here for drinks, environment, and a couple dishes you're set, but if you're expecting to leave full think again!

Sexy Fish Miami is definitely worth visiting because the ambiance and interior decor is out of this world! Everything is picture worthy! The girls and I had a full-on photoshoot in the bathrooms lol. Food is no doubt expensive and small portioned, but flavors were decent. I enjoyed the tuna and negi maki. Not a fan of the Grape & Oregano Tingly cocktail. It tasted just like a light grape soda. I was starting to wonder if the bartender forgot to add the alcohol.
.. hot garbage. The hostess with fake freckles was extremely rude. I made a reservation over the phone and somehow it didn't register into the computer. Then halfway into finding the reservation she says shorts aren't allowed after 3:30 at 3:41. I book rappers and athletes here all the time and came with an artist and the staff was extremely unprofessional... borderline racist. He said he'll never come back in here.
🤮
Awful service, mid food, way too expensive for what it is.
Nobody here has any emotional intelligence or any intelligence for that matter. THEY were 30 min late to seat us and 100% forgot even though we reminded them 10 times. To get a job here requires 1 brain cell as a maximum qualification.
Yes awesome pics but don't go hungry, eat before because you will spend about 100 dollars each and still be starving when you leave. Maybe could be fun to grab a 20 dollar cocktail, enjoy the vibe, then leave. Portions are very small and expensive so for the price nothing was really that's great for me to rave about

The consensus is right and this place is more a place to be
The consensus is right and this place is more a place to be seen (and to see the elaborate decorations, which were pretty cool) than an actual food destination. To be clear, I loved the kitsch and how it permeated the entire restaurant. The little chopstick holders are playfully engraved with "Stolen from Sexy Fish" on the bottom, and there's a likeness of Daniel Craig taking a leak in the men's bathroom. But the food? It was just aiight, and quite pricey. I'm glad my friend and I came for a light lunch, snacking on some skewers and appetizers. Nothing was bad per se- it was just that none of the food was memorable on its own right. It's worth coming for the decorations and atmosphere. Just set your expectations accordingly.
I love Prime Fish. Great oysters Rockefeller … definitely delicious… My bartender Amber was great. I got an Espresso Martini. One of the best I ever had … they actually make good quality cocktail. The ambiance is great.

If you're looking for a "dress to impress" type of night,
If you're looking for a "dress to impress" type of night, check out Sexy Fish. Don't forget to check the dress code- they are very strict. The decor was out of this world detailed. You truly felt as if you transformed into the underwater world. Everything is decorated so intricately from the bars, the tables to walls even the bathroom. Weird to say this but the bathroom was the best "vibey" spot in the whole place. Don't miss it for shameless bathroom selfies! Our drinks were delicious. We only had drinks and the services was decent for a place like this but we had so much fun watching the bar tenders carefully curate each and every part of the drink.
🙂
Food 10/10:The food exceeded my expectations.
This was my first time at sexyfish and Miami so I thought it was more for the looks. Instead, the food was cooked to perfection and really high quality. The sashimi and maki roll were delicious. I still think about the pork belly skewers and the beef tenderloin back home in California! Service:The service was okay. Nothing above and beyond but I thought everybody was really attentive and nice.I came in during mid-day for a late lunch so didn't get the whole nightlife vibe experience but really thought everything was cute. There was a DJ in the back which was cool. I'd totally recommend coming for the experience, ambiance and food! Of course pricey but I think it's worth it.
😍
Fun place for dinner in DT Miami.
If you are on a budget do not come here. Portions are small but good. Drinks are very creative and flavorful. Decor is unique with water/mermaid theme. The bathrooms upstairs are filled with women taking pictures at ALL times. Service is excellent. Fun experience.
😍

The service was amazing! One of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant as the staff were kind and made you feel special, paying attention to details. The place was absolutely beautiful and the food was tasty and had great presentation. Also, the bathroom was so fun to take pictures in! Everything at this place was so extravagant! It was such an experience coming here!
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. It was ridiculously expensive and not even remotely worth it. On the plus side, the raw oysters and sea bass were quite good. On the negative side the creamed spinach tasted like it came from a frozen pouch and the Oysters Rockefeller were so laden with cheese, goop and fried stuff that they were actually tasteless. It’s as if TGIF tried to deep fry this dish. There have to be better places in Miami. It would be well worth your while to find one.
Ordered the miso sea bass and it came swimming in a thick sickly sweet sauce that rendered everything on the plate (bok choy) inedible. Also ordered wagyu beef sliders and got fish sliders instead. Fries arrived cold and soggy- and this is a place that has the neck to charge $17 for said fries!!! After bringing these issues to the attention of the manager and that my daughter feels sick after the fish, he comped the sliders (one half eaten) and the soggy fries and that was it...oh he did offer us a desert to "finish on a high note" (!) But we passed. Total tourist trap and lousy food at ridiculous prices- how do these places survive??? Oh yeah, tourists.... Give this place a miss.

Brunch on New year's Eve Should definitely be skipped
I had been to this restaurant before for dinner and thought it was excellent. seemed like a good idea to go for a late brunch and get home before later on New Year's Eve. There was no indication that the menu would be limited, staff skeletal, and food just not good. Seems the whole focus was getting ready for new year's Eve dinner...why be open if you cant deliver food or service. So disappointing!
Food was good but overpriced.
Hugo was an out of this world server. Probably one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Food was amazing! Awesome place! Highly recommend! Manager also stopped by each table to ensure customers were highly satisfied. Music was at a nice volume so you could actually have a conversation and hear the other person!
Highly recommend stopping by. All my friends love Sexy Fish Miami

As an establishment hire managers that reflect your business in a flattering light. Unless you want the optics of discrimination as change needs to occur ASAP.
🤮
The manager at this place is racist.
Had reservations here with a couple of friends and we weren't allowed for dress code yet a YT woman wearing the same thing was let in with no problems at all. Retrain your staff to be fair
🤢
Food did not live up to the hype.
Decent setting but staff and manager were super rude. Food was cold and drinks were terrible. Would not eat here again at all.
🤮
Brought a few business clients here for a nice lunch.
Unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. There was a racist manager that did not allow a member of our group...quite sad
🤮
Simply put, they are rude and RACIST!! Do not come here

Wow.. do yourself a favour and visit here at least once in your lifetime. The service is impeccable. The decor is INSANE - trust me their restrooms are instagram worthy, and worthy of coming here JUST to see the BEST restrooms to boot in my life (beats Giovannis restrooms hands down) The Ladie's restrooms are predominantly pink and the Gents restrooms are predominantly blue. The most amazing mosaic insanely beautiful rooms.Oh and the food is pretty special too! (ha ha) I recommend you go at lunch time as they have a lunch special with a great varied variety of choices. I went with three friends, so we pretty much crawled all over the lunch menu and EVERYTHING was exceptional.
🤮
Visited here with a friend.
Food was very mediocre, plenty of other places to go with better food and service. Staff seemed snobbish. I would avoid.
😍

Let's start with getting seated.
It's a zoo my reservation was at 10pm had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. They tell you to wait by the bar which is flooded with people. Then you get yelled at by the servers to move so they can get by. Our server was very friendly (A+ for her)(Forgot her name)The place it's self is beautiful they did an amazing job with the decor. Now let's move on to the music. The restaurant is for (younger sexy) crowd. But the music didint get good until after midnight. They were playing music from the 90,s till about 12:15 smh. Ok and lastly the food. Over all the food was very good I would say normal price. Only thing that wasn't worth it. Was the steak (should have known not to order steak at a seafood place but my wife wanted steak)Steak was $200 bucks. 5oz minimum. Was terrible and not worth the money. The lobster tempura was my favorite dish Lastly the drinks were amazing. Don't think I would go back But def worth trying Our bill was $1500 for 6 people. Not bad at all for Miami hot spot (that's including tip)
Wow, so glad we chose this place for our last night in Miami! Service from the start, but Tony, our server, made it fun! Unique dishes with regular food too...not just seafood! Large plates or small with interesting, delicious sides! Full bar! Great music, with a fun, friendly staff! Sure wish we lived closer! Thanks to everyone there for a very special evening!
😍
Best meal of our 3 week holiday
Thanks so much for this wonderful dining experience. The food was faultless and fabulous. Complimentary rolls and a delicious fish mousse/pate, shared tuna tartare then I had the most amazing grouper. Didn’t want it to end. My partner had the halibut which he said was excellent. Shared a plate of rosemary potatoes but too many to finish. Enjoyed what we had Minor improvements- restaurant quiet and we had a pretty poor table, waiter very knowledgable but specials gone through a little too quickly. Bottle wine expensive but we pushed the boat out and it was delicious ( white alberino) Not cheap but our last night and worth every dollar
If you can eat anything you’ll love it
Reheated fries Ceasar salad instead of kale Rubbery bitter diver sole Why????? The garden is so beautiful, sitting under a beautiful huge tree but the food was awful
🤮
Their 10 minute reservation policy is absurd.

The whole world uses 15 minutes grace period. We arrived 14 minutes late after calling them to let them know of our delay. They cancelled our reservation and asked us to wait just like at a fast food restaurant. They treated us poorly, didn't honor our reservation and we left very disappointed by the hubris this place displayed.
😍
We enjoyed everything we ordered.
.. the salmon maki, croquettes, pork ribs, rice and the Chilean sea bass. Definitely recommend this place. Our waiter, Lenny, made us feel extra special with his outstanding service.

Glad to see a sexy fish in Miami! Went for the family and friends event, it was so beautiful. The decor is detailed and exquisite, the waiters and managers were so kind and kept asking how the experience was going. Really great service. We had the server pick all our plates since we wanted to try everything and he did not disappoint!! We had otoro, caviar, lobster, sea bass, crawfish, sushi, steak, the tartar, nigiri ,kimchi rice oh so much food!! For desert we had the coconut dessert . Overall the otoro was divine, the pieces sliced perfectly not too thick or thin. The nigiri was a must have!!! The jalapeño balanced out the fresh delicate fish, the rice was amazing. The kimichi rice was also so so yummy, not too saucy or spicy just tangy with so much flavor! The lobster was okay considering the price also not a big fan of lobster but if you are then I would give it a go! Buttery and perfectly cooked. The highlight was the truffle tartar!!!! The flavors, the sauce, the meat , the truffles. Even the plating was so amazing. Just overall a delightful experience for my mouth and senses!! Crawfish was spicy and divine. The meat sticks I would try again. The dessert was so refreshing and just what the night needed to finish off such a good time. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality food, without minding to spend a bit of It's definitely a Miami experience must go!
🤢
It's a drug dealers idea of a restaurant.
I didn't experience racism or anything like that like other people. But dam, very mediocre food with mid tier service and quality. Spend your money else where. 2 stars because it's basically mediocre food for a large price, spend the same or money elsewhere for a more enjoyable time.
