Amazing lobster and fish
The best fish and lobster Iāve ever had, pretty simple flavours but just so delicious and fresh. The service was fantastic too.
Be the first to ReplyTepinyaki fun
Had a marvellous night at Shiki, had tepinyaki option Food & service great, maybe a little on the expensive side but great experience except for loud trio of women who took over our tepinyaki table & were extremely loud & tainted our visit.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding Teppanyaki at its best
brilliant Irodori set teppanyaki tonight at Shiki, all foods could not fault at all, the scallops, sashimi, especially the kingfish was a stand out and the 9+ marble wagyu. waiters very attentive, an incredible meal, thanks to all
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming
Our dinner started and ended very well with some amazing sashimi and an excellent dessert, but there was little to be excited about in between. Sitting around the Teppanyaki grill is fun for the theatre but our scallops and lobster were sadly over cooked and the wagyu was bland and uninteresting. At these prices you expect much bettter.

We went here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We found the staff very nice, helpful, and we were seated at a grill table. We have been to many of these places like Benihana's but this was different. Not a lot of fancy tricks, but what is needed for a great meal and presentation. I had the tempura and fried rice, my wife the grilled prawns. Both were delicious, well cooked and seasoned. A nice Japanese beer was all I needed. Would go back again when in Australia

A very theatrical service.Good if you like this! However , service lacking on paired wine service, and wagyu was tough.
Be the first to ReplyA big disappointment
We frequent this restaurant twice a year. Not anymore, it used to have a good vibe, it's looking tired, tables weren't clean before our seating, ambience zilch, probably only had a 50% capacity. Our table had a total of 4 people on it. The Hanabe Menu has been taken off & replaced with Keyaki Menu - $159.00 per head! Grant Burge Filsell wine overpriced at $129.00 (Dan Murphy's $39.95) They'll need to do something special for us to come back again, too many other good restaurants to frequent now.
Be the first to ReplyNot as good as I expected at Intercontinental
Restaurant is a little tired. Set menu had some portions unavailable and needed to be swapped out. The quality of the meal did not align with set menu cost. Not a restaurant Iād revisit.

As usual an amazing experience. Tapenyaki to die for. A delight to attend, perfect service, friendly helpful staff. Price but worth every cent.
Be the first to ReplyFun and exquisite dining experience
Beautifully (and expertly) cooked fresh food. A really great experience watching the teppanyaki chefs. Expert hospitality by front of house staff too. Multiple choices for chefs menus even with matched wines if you choose. Can't wait to go back next time we're in Adelaide!
Be the first to ReplySuperb Shiki
Shiki never drops in quality and service. Absolutely top class food at Teppanyaki bar last night. Service was wonderful as well. Highly recommend this Japanese Restaurant.

Our Chef Nash was excellent and made our night very special. He was very entertaining and informative. It was our 45th Wedding anniversary and as I said his input made our night Special. Thank you Nash.

An amazing dining experience, relaxed quality ambiance, and incredible service. The cuisine was faultless with the chef fully explaining all dishes and providing a sensational tasting experience. A tip is select a banquet with many options. I travel the world but rate this number 1.
Be the first to ReplyJapanese dining at it;s best!
Upon arriving we were seated with another couple and a group of friends, the Restaurant Manager went through the Menu with and once we made our choice the chef came out and proceeded with cooking the food right in front of us, it was truly incredible! We almost had to be rolled out of the restaurant we were that full.

We've been here a few times. It is always consistently very good. Our Chef was professional and very friendly, (not easy to do when wearing a mask). We could not fault the food. Washed it down with a Mollydooker Shiraz.
Our waitress was excellent and always there at the right time.
A marvelous experience
The chef actually cooks your meal on a hot plate right in front of you. We had Southern Rock Lobster, followed by a mixture of lamb and kangaroo. Wonderful Japanese dips are put in from of you. The cooking is actually quiet a theatrical experience especially when the cooking is finished with high red flames.
