The plates were really good. They served only fish and vegs. A lot flavors. Tasty delicious fantastic! You have to go to the toilet! Itās is a unique experience! Please taste gnocchi!

Is high tea more expensive than rent on my first apartment, yes, but is it worth it? Absolutely! First course was a seafood salad, then sandwiches and pastries, macaroons, then scones and then cake. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent. They spaced everything out nicely, refilled tea pots, asked us if we wanted more of anything. The room is a modern version of the traditional stuffy traditional tea. Three string quartet was playing in the corner, which was lovely. The bathroom is a teen, instagram dream! The hostesses were so nice as well! Peek into the other rooms while you're there, the decor is fabulous! Overall an excellent experience!

We are in the gallery and it was definitely a unique experience that's unlike anywhere else I've eaten ... the food was good but not incredibly notable. Took a while to get drinks sometimes and had to follow up. Overall a cool experience to eat there once, but don't have a strong desire to go back.

Hyped and overpriced
I recently visited Sketch London and while the location was great, the experience fell short of my expectations. The entrance looked fabulous, but the pink room did not quite match the pictures - the pale pink was more towards orange undertones. The room was also quite crowded, leaving little space to move around comfortably. The atmosphere was lively, but the prices were far too high. We paid £75 for a set menu that was ultimately disappointing. The price included tea or coffee but no alcohol, and the food was overrated and nothing above average. The desserts were nothing special, and the macarons were very chewy. With the VAT and service charge, we ended up paying £85 per person. I couldn't help but compare this experience to other meals I've had for the same price. Overall, I think Sketch is overhyped and overrated.

Not only beautiful but amazing food & drinks
Donāt read the negative reviews, I almost listened and so happy I didnāt. My 22 year old daughter found Sketch and wanted to have dinner there. The place is beautiful and the Egg shaped toilets are fun! But honestly, the food amazing (and I am picky), drinks and wine menu lovely, and desserts to die for! Please impeccable service as a cherry on top! Donāt skip by this one! Our best meal in London thus far!

What an amazing place to visit!
It is absolutely gorgeous place to visit! Lots of experiences and tastes to feel and memorise for all your life. It is more like a museum rather than a restaurant!

Horrible experience. Avoid.
The worst dining experience in London. The ambiance is for instragram, but donāt be fooled by the influencer reels - please dont eat here. (Dinner specific) After dropping Ā£50 on two cocktails I could make better at home (seriously, Lady D tastes so bland itās laughable) we went for dinner. Ordered a starter which never came, and was immediately served a very chewy steak (which they charge Ā£55 for), the steak came with three teeny tiny potato bites presented like they were the belle of the ball. Honestly when food came out me and my partner just started laughing. In a conversation with a staff member they admitted that they were ātrying to bring the food standard back up after covidāā¦. At least they were honest but I still find it massively insulting to their guests that they have the audacity to charge the prices they do when the food is that crap. The staff were rude, forgetful and not knowledgeable about their restaurant at all. Finally to rate the decor, because it seems thatās what people come here for. Sure it is very beautiful and we enjoyed walking around. But I really Dont understand the hype around the toilets š when you first see them youāre like āwow this is interestingā and then you open a cubicle and itās pretty gross honestly? I dont get it. All in all probably the worst date night in terms of āexperienceā weāve had ever. I will be so happy to never ever return!

I think this place is a teeny tiny bit overrated.
I am a foodie and I thought this place is more about being seen (and photographed) than enjoying the food. The aesthetic is beautiful and funky but I thought for the price the food was nothing exceptional. We went to the Gallery for dinner as it's the only reservations we could get 2 weeks prior, so that should probably have been an indication. The price point is just too high for the creativity and quality. Perhaps the 75.00 pre-fixed afternoon tea is a better value. Anyway, it's a cool spot for sure to make Instagram post and TikToks.

Amazing decor. Inedible food.
The decor is out of this world. A real delight for the senses and absolutely a must see is the bathroom. But Iām sincerely warning you do not order the food. It is the most tasteless defrosted mess. I ordered something with basil and I thought I had Covid. It had the scent and texture of a green shaped peice of paper. Itās too bad such a great decor / ambience place just phoned in the food in the worst imaginable way possible. Go for a drink and soak up the decor- thatās worth it.

An enjoyable experience butā¦
We came to the Sketch Gallery restaurant to celebrate my friends birthday on the 13th of January. We enjoyed ourselves, we enjoyed our food and our surroundings. Staff were friendly. However, 24 hours after our visit to Sketch my friend got food poisoning. She had eaten the oysters and when calling 111, as she was so unwell, they were pretty sure that the food poisoning was from the oysters as it matched her symptoms. We emailed Sketch who went into great detail asking for a summary of what my friend had eaten before and where she had been etc. Because she hadnāt been to hospital to have samples taken, they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever, and then just completely ignored our last email. We found this absolutely shocking for such an up-market restaurant. My friendās birthday weekend was ruined!

Like the biggest waste of money.
People go there just for Instagram (including me) but I was still excited to try the food being the foodie I am. Got the risotto. No joke the worst meal I've ever eaten. Sadly, it tasted like dog water. To make matters better the bread they "gave" us was worse than a stale bread stick and it costed $13. You money is simply better spent anywhere else.
It is more than just the meal it's an atmosphere that will effect all of your senses.

Breakfast in the parlour! The green garden room was beautiful. Came here right when it opened on a Tuesday in January. The only regret I had was not being able to experience their afternoon tea. I was here only for a day's stopover :( As a result, no pink room or futuristic pod bathroom could be seen.Got the 9 Conduit St Breakfast, the porridge, pear tart, flowering osmanthus, and even donated to a charity back then (only like a pound for Place2Be, not sure what it is now but saw it on my receipt). All pretty good. Everything was about 30 pounds back in 2017. So like a $36 breakfast! I heard there are no more pink chairs though, sadness. But yellow chairs instead? Or has that changed? Well, hopefully the next visit to London, I'd definitely aim to go here again during regular afternoon tea hours!

We only had cocktails in the fairy forest bar, so I can only speak to the drinks, but yes! Such a great cocktail menu thoughtfully curated to support the aesthetic of the entire location. A mix of whimsy and modern, Sketch is definitely an interesting, entertaining place that shouldn't be missed. They recently changed out the main dining area from all pale pink to this mustard, and there are three different bar areas, each holds its own theme. The food is French inspired and looks very good, but we decided to just do drinks at Sketch, then move on down the road. Oh, and the toilets are individual pods. So pee pods. Get it?

I LOVE this place! Every time I'm in London it's a must.

Afternoon tea and late night drinks are both fantastic!

When you walk in it's very whimsical.
We sat in the gallery room. There are a lot of people walking around and attending to tables, almost too many it at some points. The chairs are uncomfortable and heavy and mine wobbled so I had to ask someone to switch it out. I ordered oysters and scallops. It was unfortunate that they can't make any changes to dishes as I would have preferred the risotto but with some additional protein. The oysters were presented well, with dry ice, but were too large (I prefer less meat and a hugger salinity) and had an unnecessary slab of butter on each. The frozen mignonette they came with though, amazing. My scallops were mostly raw except for a seared top and the sauce they came with was good. I'm happy we got the bread as I would have left hungry but the bread was neither warm nor was it soft and the butter was hard and nothing special. Overall this place is a little too pretentious for me.

Maybe the coolest restaurant we visited.

The room for afternoon tea is really something else. Live music is perfect. Pretty decent amount of food here although everything is obviously very small. All prix fixe. Good sized champagne menu. If it isn't obvious, this place is expensive. Be prepared so shell out $$$$ especially if you're drinking. Would like to come back for lunch or a drink in one of the other rooms.

My wife booked us at the Gallery last night, which was an amazing experience. The ambiance showcases the bright hues of a cocktail room, reminiscent of a golden era. Filippo and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. They helped create a delicious meal from start to finish, paired with some good English sparking and wine. If you're looking for some great food with a relaxing vibe, the Gallery is the place to go. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy the Library experience later in the future.
I have never heard of or been to sketch until 04/04/22 for my 21st birthday.
The atmosphere in there is amazing. Musicians playing the violin, whilst being served tea and delicious food by lovely staff. Who, can I just say did a phenomenal job. You guys made us feel welcome and made my 21st that much more special.
Near the end when I saw the cake you made with my name and age on it. I was so amazed!
The food tasted so good we tried everything, even when our stomachs felt like they were going to burst! Thank you so much for an amazing experience. Itās a day I wonāt forget.

great food and service
I have been to the Gallery twice since the refurbishment ā the room looks amazing, full of warmth and sophisticated artwork. After our last visit on Saturday, I felt the need to write a review.
Last time it was truffle season, but now we are in asparagus season apparently ā the smoked salmon rillette starter was delicious! For main course I finally tried the sole meuniere ā fish stuffed with mushrooms, a strange combination that goes very well!
My partner canāt stop ordering the Chantilly lace with the lobster bisque, her starter of choice! The sommelier, I think her name was Jackie, recommended a stunning Riesling which went really well with the fish dishes.
I think we had a manager waiting on us, didn't catch his name but he wore a green suit, he was very funny and entertaining and very attentive. The restaurant was busy and vibrant, not surprising for a Saturday night.
The bill was Ā£300 for two, which is a lot but well worth the money, I have definitely spent the same if not more in London restaurants and been disappointed. We will definitely be back in a few monthsā time

Rude receptionists at the glade
I have been so excited to visit Sketch since I booked it a couple of months ago. I booked for my boyfriend and when we arrived the receptionist is just not nice. Smirked at me and unsure why as Iām friendly.
Food was served late, I paid Ā£21 for a fry up, which I didnāt mind paying but the food wasnāt warm, bacon to hard and the sausage was in the shape of a number 2ā¦
The room is super beautiful though š the staff who served us were nice also.
I then left my handbag by accident so went back to collect. They stared at me as if I was a piece of dirt when I arrived. I actually left feeling rubbish. The way they spoke, smirked and answered me was rude. Such a shame such a nice restaurant and the most beautiful place Iāve been in was ruined experience. The room was the Glade where the receptionist and another worker were when I came.
I travel home today from london back to Scotland and Iām so disappointed š

What an amazing place! I was looking for a nice but fun
What an amazing place! I was looking for a nice but fun afternoon tea restaurant on my trip to London, and sketch was recommended to us by a few people, so we decided to check it out. This place is nothing like you've experienced before, it's so beautiful! My husband is allergic to almonds, so they bought him a separate tray filled with almond free pastries. I still dream of their tea sandwiches and little pastries. We went through almost an entire bottle of rose becuase it was so delicious! Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in London, it is however on the pricier side. We ended up spending around $550 pounds, but it's worth it for a once in a life time experience.

Completely overrated
Firstly the room has now changed from pink to yellow which doesnāt look good at all. Secondly the service was appalling, I had to chase the waitresses to get my tea and they didnāt even ask if we wanted more sandwiches/cakes, even though they asked the table next to us. We chose not to pay the service charge. You are only served one scone and with only one pot of jam for the table. The sandwiches and pastries were delicious, the scone was not. I personally wouldnāt recommend and wouldnāt revisit.
