Problems with using credit card issued to my account

Appointment Trader issued a refund to my account in the form of a credit card. When I try to use the card it is flagged as fraudulent and some vendors won’t accept it at all. Please advise.

Good Morning @SuccessfulSlip39, For security purposes brand new cards of accounts that never had a charge posted to their accounts have a spending limit associated to them which sometimes causes this issue - AppointmentTrader is alerted about those transactions and then reviews the account to then proceed and remove the limit. We have also seen that some credit card providers flag cards that are being used for the very first time in the payment networks - a second attempt often solves this issue. It would be interesting to know if your issue has been resolved as I am sure a lot of new customers read this thread.

I’d recommend reaching out directly to your credit card company (via the number on back of card) and explicitly telling them to let charges from this vendor through. It has worked for me in the past — good luck!
