Sad what this place has become
Can never get a table, its always full of non members, because if you are friends with the receptionists you can bring 8 friends in apparently. The whole place has just become unbearable, and thats before you even mention the fact that it takes 30 mins to get a drink at the bar. God forbid you try and ask for a table to sit down and get something to eat. Full to the brim with rude, entitled people, staff included, its sad to see what this place has become. Can also never figure out why groups of 2 or 3 spend so much time in the bathroom cubicles? I really hope they start listening to their members, and shape up fast.

Are there artists here? Being a collector of vinyl having a collection of art , having knowledges in business and finance ( SH โs in the stock market shows the real interest ), I would consider the S H pretentious but poor! For sure some people get a place ๐ฅณothers who attende or work in art have been on the list for months ( they probably still are ) So , observing the โprocessโ( laughing I have to say), I understood that : The entrance perhaps is on the base of dress ( shabby or excessive ), and what some people write about themself ; in fact many have never attended any Institution of art and clearly have no knowledges in the field ! The discussion with some of them sometimes became pathetic !!!! The history ( the past indeed), of the SH is interesting assuring elegance , culture , and artistic people to meet ; today the shabby style is an imperative and shabby behaviour the logical result ! I invited friends times and times spending definitely much more than people who drink a coffe for 5 hours using the SH like their house; but the food was bad and the service too ; that happen when people don โt care quality and culture ! So London , NY , Rome and Milan ( SH would be present here ) are my home literally and I am curious to find out who will get a place especially in London where the SH 180 is the worst ! Kind regards Roberta Messina Ps โ photos are not being allowed keep the VIP ๐๐๐ in the dark ๐ง โ๏ธ
Be the first to ReplyOk, but always busy
The original, but by far the best, almost as poor as Shoreditch house, but not quite. The oversubscribed membership means this place is rammed all the time, itโs crazy. Iโve never got a table for a drink ever, always have to stand at the very busy and very crowded and hot bars. Itโs vibrant here too, which is nice, but not as relaxed as the lovely Dean street. Itโs a really shame as a member you get the ridiculous email saying โhereโs a polite reminder of our rulesโ yes nothing is monitored or policed in the houses. The younger members are just so inconsiderate, and the air of pretentiousness is rife. Food is not the best here and service is slower than the others IMO.

Horrible and disappointing experience. Experienced the rudest front desk concierge. Sofia Lavin and hher associate Rose should learn manners when dealing with international guests.

Obliging and unobtrusive staff that made our stay very pleasant - delightful location and a building that has been refurbished to exacting standards as befits a SoHo house establishment. For diners the menu is simple and beautifully prepared. Extensive wine list. Most convivial -

So many members, it's crazy. It's not very pleasant to relax, it's hard to get service. The food is always cold when it arrives. I really wouldn't recommend joining, it's a fad.
Be the first to ReplyNeeds tweaking and much more staff
Post lockdown activity means soho is busier than it looks at anytime before. Soho house is members and their guests only but feels like the whole of soho is there are well! Way to busy.
The food is average. Cocktails average and service could be better I.e. hire more staff. Overpriced cocktails and below minimal measures.
Overall not somewhere Iโd eat again to be honest
A thoroughly enjoyable lunch
It's great to see Soho House now open again, with all the precautions you would expect in these strange times, including menus by XR code.
What an asset the 3rd floor terrace is. We had an enjoyable lunch there on one of the warmest days of the year and there are awnings that were drawn over to provide shade when the sun moved round.
We had a cocktail to start, followed by a chilled rosรฉ wine, along with water and ice.
For our meal, I had the soup which was amazing, along with fresh chunky bread and the chopped salad which was huge and also delicious - I couldn't finish it. My companion had an excellent vegan selection.
The atmosphere was friendly, safe and we had help with any questions, whether at Reception or up in the dining area.
Well done and welcome back.
Perfect Club
Great relaxed meeting areas - open fires, friendly attentive service - lots of rooms, funky decor - right in the heart of covent garden.

Wonderfully friendly staff who actually take the time to chat to guests. And excellent food. I would recommend the salmon and fennel, and also the sweet potato chips. A good place to eat great food and discuss business in a quiet and congenial atmosphere.

We grabbed a table outside and had a bottle of Prosecco. Perfect people watching and there was some sights being on old Compton Street. Enjoyed it.
Be the first to ReplyCozy, quiet and well located place
Good food, nice different rooms, bars and terraces in one place. Perfect to meet and have a drink or diner with friends. Need a member for invitation. Be there different times, always had a good one.

I love eating here, great menu choices, lovely atmosphere. But unfortunately Iโve had 2 bad experiences with the blonde waitress on top floor. 1st time I didnโt want to leave a bad review as everyone has a bad day. Second time was recently. She was our waitress but had to basically beg/waive for anyone to give us attention after 20 mins of sitting. After giving us menus she left and felt like she was avoiding our table (of course she wasnโt) but thatโs how bad the service felt! Couldnโt engage in conversation with company because was constantly trying to get someoneโs attention to order. Had to get up and go to the bar to ask if I could order?! Space is also very small. Also not friendly at all, no engagement, I almost felt bad ordering my food. Please sort this out! Apart from that, amazing food as usual and lovely atmosphere. This almost ruined the experience, hopefully will be sorted next time. :)
