We got the crab fried rice here and it was so tasty.
My wife enjoyed their specialty cocktails. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We love this restaurant!
Be the first to ReplySo freakin good! I could eat here twice a week.
The flavors and presentation as well as service are fantastic. Great vibe too at the bar area.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was FREAKING FANTASTIC.
I have no pics because I was too tired, it was too cramped, and it was very loud. But the food was spectacular. We had different types of curry noodles, crab fried rice, and tons of other stuff. Best Thai food I've ever had. Except for in Thailand.

Really yummy Thai place that specializes in more noodle dishes than other places. Arrived there at 5 pm on a Wednesday with no reservation for 5 and we were able to get a table outside. It's pretty crowded so I recommend reservations. We got the duck noodles, khao soi chicken, koong karee, and crab fried rice (not pictured) which are their most popular dishes. Everything was super flavorful, and I enjoyed mixing the Koong Karee with the fried rice! Khao soi chicken was super tender and juicy. It was savory and sweet with a hint of lime! The duck noodles were my favorite; I enjoyed their house gravy and super tender duck. I never had this type of dish before in Thai cuisine. The Koong Karee had a decent amount of shrimp and huge amount of curry. It's not spicy at all and is very creamy and not as thick! I would come back here to try their other Thai dishes

So glad I came back! I had an emailed, confirmed reservation of 7 people. They are strict on the Only Seating with Completed Parties - they must have counted my group about 3x. We were seated in a pretty cramped table but it turned out okay. The recommendations from the staff are truly good - the Hoi Johr dumplings have shrimp, pork, grab and sticky rice and come with a sweet sauce. ($14 for 4 pieces) I got the Amethyst cocktail which was very pretty and quite strong. ($21) The highlight was truly the seared pork green curry ($26) and the Karee Pu noodles ($30) which when thoroughly mixed together, the crab meat and curry and noodles have you grabbing a spoon to get every last bite! The spice builds up but still isn't too bad, the flavor is worth it.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite Thai restaurants in NYC.
Dishes are unique and leave me craving it even after I leave. Koong karee: 10/10 Dry Sukhothai noodles: 10/10 Duck egg rolls: 8/10 (more woodear than duck) Duck noodles: 7/10 (a bit one dimensional, but if you like a sweet glaze over the duck with sweet soy sauce with a hint of fried garlic, this might be for you) Had yai chicken: 8/10 solid fried chicken without all that breading. All cocktails are incredible! Service: efficient, attentive Ambiance: Loud and lively.

This place is so good! They also have very creative and tasty cocktails. We got the duck noodles, shrimp egg curry, eggplant salad, and seafood Tom Yum soup. The duck noodle and the eggplant salads are my favorite dishes. These are both must get items from the extensive menu. The shrimp egg curry is also very good. I probably would not get the Tom Yum soup again since it's a bit too acidic and you can tell they probably just use a fix of frozen seafood in the soup. It didn't taste as fresh.

Be the first to ReplyExcellent food.
Brings back memories of visit to Thailand. Simple yet elegant decor. Service was a little slow but food well worth it.

I have been a follower of this restaurant ever since they opened during COVID and no one would go there (oh how the times have changed!). So happy to see their spectacular success. I keep going back and forth with some other amazing entries in the neighborhood like Pranakhon, but this is almost certainly my favorite Thai food in the city. Such unique and delicious flavors, solid ingredients, awesome drinks. not to mention always excellent service whether dining in or take out. Fun ambiance also. Anyone who tries it through me raves about it. So happy to live nearby and now trying to become a regular at Sappe too (their sister restaurant).

Food was pretty good but every entree came out at different times so it was not ideal for our 4 person party. They are very strict on their 1 hour 15 min table limit so we were kicked out super quick. Smells weird coming in too? And tables were packed like sardines in the back per NYC style.
Be the first to ReplyLovely spot, fanatic food.
Can't wait to keep going back. I've been twice and each time was a treat. Incredible flavor in each dish. Service was friendly and prompt.
Be the first to ReplyProbably the best Thai restaurant in nyc.
Def recommend going once. I got the duck noodle and it was a solid choice if someone indecisive and don't know what to get.

Honestly I was so excited to try eating here; I have heard so much about this place! My friend and I were lucky to find a time slot on Resy and we seized the opportunity, it's not easy to get a reservation in the evenings unless you don't mind waiting for a while for an open table. As soon as you come in, you are greeted by so many people and you can tell how attentive they are to all their guests. The ambience was pretty casual and the place is quite small yet cozy. As a vegetarian, I read through other Yelp reviews beforehand and knew there were like 2 options for me to eat. I ordered the Vegetable Masaman Trio which was pretty filling and the presentation was probably one of the best I've had for this dish! Though I was impressed of course I wish there are more options. The staff definitely helped make it a great experience!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Soothr, a Thai restaurant, and I was blown away by my experience. My friends and I decided to check it out on a random Tuesday night, and the place was packed! Luckily, we managed to snag seats at the bar which had hooks for our purses and jackets - a nice touch. We ordered the Duck noodles and the chicken khao soi, and I must say, the food was absolutely scrumptious. The service was speedy and attentive, making our meal that much more enjoyable. It's no wonder they have a Michelin star - it is well-deserved.In addition to the fantastic food, we also tried one of their mocktails/juices, and it was SO GOOD! It's easy to overlook mocktails, but don't sleep on them here - they're amazing. The entrees were appropriately priced for the portion size, and we left feeling very satisfied. I can't wait to come back and try their famous shrimp curry. All in all, I highly recommend Soothr for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai food with great service. This is a must-visit spot!
Be the first to ReplyOverall rating: 4.
5/5 After seeing people rave about this all over social media and it's a Michelin restaurant!! I had to give it a try.Food: 4.5/5 They had a lunch special going on for an appetizer (either vegetable dumplings or beef meatballs), an entree and a soda (or extra for thai iced tea or coffee). I opted for the pad see ew as I saw this was recommended. Trust, I will try the other popular items next time I'm around the area. The beef meatballs were interesting! It was served with the sweet chili sauce. But the pad see ew - the noodles were so thin and smooth. It actually wow'd me. Ambience: 5/5 It's very hip for sure! There was a bar if you opt for that and different sections for dining. Price: 5/5 The lunch special of $18 for the beef meatballs, pad see ew, and soda was pretty worth it in my opinion. Service: 5/5 It was my first time dining in solo and wow! They made the experience super comfortable for me. The waiters/waitresses were amazing - they were super friendly and checked in on me multiple times. The food came out very fast too which is a plus.
Be the first to Replytried in person finally at 9:30 pm on a sunday night.
mind you, this place closes at 10:30 pm and there was STILL a small wait to get seated! incredible. this Michelin guided restaurant doesn't play!i got the famous shrimp curry along w/ crab fried rice, and both were delicious! the shrimp curry is egg-y, creamy, and not spicy which was perfect for me. The only thing is that if I ate too much of it it was a little too heavy - a taste I would get sick of it I had the dish alone. luckily, my friend was down to share a carb dish, so we got the crab fried rice and with the spices it came with, it was a perfect blend! The fried rice has lumps of crab meat which was awesome. I will say, it's on the plain side but there are sauces to put on it, which helps.I will be back for sure! hit the spot for a late night dinner.

Great tasting thai food! we ordered the koong karee, crab fried rice and kee mao noodles, all were a hit. The only complaint I would have is about the service. I felt like someone was constantly lurking in the corner waiting for my husband and I to get done with our food. We were even given a time limit of 1 hour 15 mins as soon as we entered. Out of Soothr and fish cheeks I would pick the latter.

Came here on a Wednesday night without a reservation and got seated within 30-45 mins. Restaurant is a bit packed and loud but all the servers were really nice. We got the rose quartz drink which was recommended which was good. For food we tried the duck noodles and koong karee. They were both good but the koong karee was the highlight. The curry was very flavorful and the shrimp were cooked well. We also got a mango sticky rice for dessert which was pretty good and a free birthday shot. Great restaurant!

It was an excellent experience! Our waiter was very nice and friendly and suggested very good appetizers from the menu. Great spot for lunch. Everything was delicious!
Be the first to ReplyThe service was great.
We had the Tom yum hot pot and duck curry which was very spicy. Then we had pad Thai and pad see we which was very sweet. The puff appetizer was good, the Hoi Johr dumpling was the stand out. Definitely worth a try. Super busy place. Would suggest asking staff to make less spicy if possible.
Be the first to ReplyVery solid thai food.
Have gotten a few dishes and all are very good. Duck in green sauce was my favorite. Pad Thai was alright but nothing special. Overall very good

As considered one of the best thai places in the city, it was super excited to try this spot! I was a bit disappointed with the food sadly. It tasted a bit weird, but I'm willing to give it another try.
Be the first to ReplyI would say this is more of a 3.
5 rating bc I wouuuld come again to try out the other dishes. The Roasted Eggplant Salad was my favorite dish, along with the Chicken Khao Soi. The Duck egg rolls and the Hotpot Tom Yum were a little underwhelming though. The fish in the Hotpot Tom yum had a bit of a rough texture that I wasn't too big of a fan of -If I had to compare, Fish Cheeks was better in terms of the freshness of the seafood and the uniqueness of the dishes. Super small and tight space.

Thai food is my absolute favorite and this place is now my favorite in the city! A very intimate setting, with great service and attentive staff/management. The dumplings were probably my favorite! The beef in the Beef Pad Si-iw was absolute perfection, and the dish contained the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors. The same goes for the Shrimp Pad Thai! An amazing dish I will definitely be ordering again. A true 10/10 restaurant!
