😒 3/5 - We got reserved seating here for a concert of some

We got reserved seating here for a concert of some independent artists my fiancé likes, Adam Calhoun, Demun Jones, Broadnax and Dusty Leigh, not my thing but whatever. We live in Denver and maybe we just have a different expectation for a concert venue. So when we went online to order these tickets we decided on this reserved table. Pretty early upon arrival we realized it might have been a mistake. Upon entry someone was sitting at our table and we had to flag someone down to get them to move. So nobody was checking tickets or anything, which leads to awkward conversations over seat ownership and it just starts the night off wrong. But anyways... Where they set the tables up, it's right in the middle of the merch tables for 4 artists, and the bathrooms and a walk up bar. It was a small 2 person table with no room, basically in the middle of a walkway to the main floor/dance floor where general admission folks were standing, blocking our entire view of the concert. It also was awkward to be in the middle of everything and having people watch us eating. We had strangers literally leaning on the half wall, spitting dip into a bottle above our heads while we ate. Our waitress was ok, but she was kinda pushy about us paying our bill early and once we did, we never saw her again for the rest of the evening. I'll also add, don't expect much from the menu, especially if you happen to have a diet that is vegetarian or more restrictive. If you do, eat before you get there. We were, however, approached at our table by a highly inebriated, middle aged woman with shoulder length brown hair of average build, while we were looking at some of our merchandise we purchased that had some sketchy workmanship. It was a private conversation between my fiancé and I at our table over a tag and this woman leans herself over the half wall divider, and proceeds to tell us, while slurring every word she utters, that she is friends with the owner and wants us to go with her to return the shirts cause she wants us to have a good time. You know how drunk people are. While it may seem innocent enough, this woman also grabbed at the shirt I had in my hand and became pushy about us leaving our table to go back and stand in line to exchange a shirt. This went on like this for at least 20 minutes, ruining even more of the concert cause she wouldn't leave us alone, even when we tried to tell her it wasn't a problem. Whether she really did know the owner(shame on her and the owner for representing your business like this if she did know you) or if she was just some drunk nosey lady, don't expect any privacy in your reserved seating, you're on display. And the security doesn't do the best at making sure everyone is enjoying their experience or in addressing overly inebriated patrons. They just kind of stand around in their black shirts, crossing their arms waiting for a fight to break up. Part of their job should include keeping an eye out for any patrons who are too drunk and ruining the experience for others. So what we thought was a reasonably priced option that would work with my spinal disability, to allow us to see a concert and not be in pain at the end, ended up being a very awkward experience that I don't think we'll ever do again. Hopefully they get security more on the ball and make sure that the folks in reserved seats don't have to have people leaning over their table, or maybe they address the reserved seating locations. It seems like they didn't plan well for the crowd that showed up, or they figured they'd try to cram in as many higher priced, reserved seating tables as they could without consideration for the people in the seats. If you're a typical college kid who's coming here on a Friday to get drunk and have fun, this place is probably perfect. But if you're a little older(30's) and coming here after reserved seating at places like The Fillmore in Denver, you'll be disappointed. I'll end with the worst part of the experience and that is the parking, or lack thereof. There's maybe 30 spots in their lot and the rest is a free for all up and down the sides of the road where you're parking unsecured in a ditch in complete darkness. I'd be concerned for my daughter to park in those conditions at night.
