Absolutely love this restaurant! Make sure to make reservations! Food is always perfectly cooked and tastes amazing! Had the filet, Cesar salad, baked potato, mashed potato, au gratin potatoes, truffle creamed corn. The fresh baked (fluffy pretzel?) bread they bring to the table melts in your mouth. Be careful not to fill up in this bread, it's easy. ;)We sat outside this time and the entertainment on the fountain was fun to watch. Service was on point like always.

Had a great time here from the fabulous meal, to the great service, and the show. Steaks were tender and cooked to perfection, the sides were very tasty, and finished with the cheesecake and funnel cakes with gigantic strawberries. The show was an added bonus.

Great steakhouse with really good food and a nice vibe, especially the outdoor area by the lake of dreams.

My husband and I came here for dinner to celebrate having just got married. Was thoroughly impressed with our experience. The ambiance was elegant and the staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. My steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, it was one of the best I've had in a long time. And they knew we were celebrating and brought out a dessert plate -- so sweet! Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience.

Very busy place and making a reservation is better.
Be the first to ReplyFood was great.
We dined outside the restaurant and enjoyed the show on the screens at the poolside. Service was excellent and the drinks were on point. Loved it

Service was impeccable but the food wasn't seasoned very well. Perfect Dow the crowd that was there, but anyone that likes even a small amount of flavor would be disappointed. The ambiance & attention from BOTH servers won't allow me to rate lower than 4 stars even though I did not enjoy my food (scallops, creamed spinach & mac & cheese). My cocktail was very good.

Went with my coworkers to attend a conference, our planned dinner was at SW Steakhouse. overall the experience was pleasant, the servers were all attentive to details and helpful. Now the food was average and overpriced for the taste and the amount. nothing extraordinary. the deserts were delicious though. I ordered branzino fish, undercooked, gave me food poisoning. the fillet mignon rate 6/10. Sides are good but nothing outstanding..paid a big chunk , won't go back again!

Each time we go to Vegas we have to make sure we bless this restaurant with our presence. This place has the best steaks ever!

Had planned for months in advance to dine here and even did a 5:30pm reservation to get sat by the lake of dreams. It was to celebrate our anniversary. We confirmed a day before. Then we get a text an hour and a half before reservation saying the patio is closed and we may experience a longer wait. So based on this alone, it ruined our much anticipated celebration dinner. We will be going to STK on short notice and they have been phenomenal with communicating with us at STK and it is centralized at the Cosmopolitan. So go to STK if you want a great experience.

The steak is ok, nothing special! I had a large party and a huge bill and I was promised a Private room and then denied upon entering. Service was good!

Ahhh SW, the highlight of my trip to the Wynn, this is the most beautiful, delicious, and entertaining place to be if you want a happening steakhouse! Try to get a seat with a view of the water show, the show is amazing in every way! The food is delicious! The servers are knowledgeable and the vibe is so much fun! I Ordered half of the seafood tower and I'm so glad I did! The shrimp cocktail was my favorite part! Big plump and meaty! Delicious!!!! Steak and Mac and cheese were also so yummy! Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyThe SW experience was really top tier.
The service was really incredible--our server gave great recommendations and was very intentional with us, which I appreciated. As for the food... it was great but definitely didn't blow my mind by any means. First off, we had the oysters (they were 1/2 from Bay Area, 1/2 from Virginia) and being from the PNW--I wasn't very impressed, but they were good. Next, we had ordered a Caesar salad and it came out a chopped salad on accident haha. I'm so glad it did though! The combination of flavors and textures was AMAZING. For dinner we shared a Ribeye, SW fries, and the creamed spinach. Again, nothing blew my socks off but it was really good. All in all, food is delicious and show was really cool but I would only come again for a special occasion.

It's been a little over a year since I've been back here, so I decided to give it another chance. Our servers Richard and Robert were very nice n funny. Everything we ordered was delicious!! We had the crab cakes, capriccio, tomahawk steak w/ cream corn, potato au gratin, lobster gnocchi as our sides. Desserts we had the cheesecake, funnel donuts and chocolate bomb. Will def be back again. Thank you Mr. Elion for a delightful evening
Be the first to ReplyMy first time at this restaurant.
I'm gluten free plus 2 others who aren't. We could not have had a more enjoyable meal. They brought fresh, warm gf rolls for me to start and payed attention to that for the entire meal. The steaks needed nothing. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Alan and his team were amazing. The service couldn't have been better. Honestly, it was one of the best meals we had in Vegas and I won't visit without going back. Bravo to all at SW for such a great experiance.

I went to this place with my wifey and my 2 very good friends I want to start off by saying this place is amazing. I've never experienced a high class fancy place like this before, but we were celebrating so we went all out. There is a fancy show that pops out every 15 or 30 min. It was unique and fun to watch. It comes from the water area where we were sitting outside. We ordered a few items. The cream corn was very corny. I would give this a 4/5 only because I like my cream corn to be more creamy. We got the Dom NY steak, which was super tender and delicious. It was a bit pricey but was worth trying out. Also, the french onion soup was very frenchie. I didn't prefer this as much but it was still good. Overall, this was a great eating place with a great environment. I would definitely go back. Good to go!

2-8-2022-Service: Five stars for superior service from Gabrielle, Nicole and Kumi-Complimentary Parker house pretzel rolls & butter: Addictive-Seafood Spectacular $195: Maine lobster, king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, oysters, crab cocktail, hamachi cruda, scallop ceviche. Fantastic, minus the lobster. Lobster was flavorless and had a bad rubbery texture. Oysters didn't taste freshly shucked. They were on the drier side-Alaskan King Crab Ravioli 5 for $24 / 10 for $48: Artichokes, basil, meyer lemon sauce. Pass. Ordered 10, only ate 3. Crab meat filling was full of cartilage and lacked flavor-Pan Roasted Dover Sole $75: Potato purée, lemon caper emulsion. Delicious. -Dry Aged Bone-In New York (45 days) 18 oz $81: Very good but definitely not the best we've had-Black Truffle Creamed Corn $17: This was more of a corn purée, not whole corn kernels. Flavorful, very rich.-Broccolini $18: Sundried tomatoes, garlic, shallots. Cooked perfectly, very rich. -The Midas Touch $25: Their signature old fashioned. Whistlepig Rye Whiskey, chai spices and mini chocolate gold bar (Guanaja Valrhona 70% Chocolate, Whistlepig Whiskey Infused Caramel, Praline). Definitely a favorite. We'll come back for the service, experience and Seafood Spectacular. Next time we'll try to get a seat outside, so we can see the show and waterfall.

Have been coming to the encore for a very long time so I figured let's give sw a try for my bday dinner . At first there was a mix up with our food but their employee bakaret (hopefully I spelled that right) went above and beyond to make things right. He is a prime example of what an employee of the Wynn resorts is. As well as his colleague Nicole both were amazing as well as the manager everyone there that night was amazing. Before I write the review of the food I wanted management to know they have great employees. The food is amazing. Started of with some drinks called the perfect storm . Then the jumbo shrimp was great as well steak was cooked perfectly and the Mac n cheese great as well . Thanks again to the staff of SW for making my night a memorable one

Great atmosphere love the show on the water good vibes delicious food menu pricey but if it's a special occasion take your significant other and make a great date to remember. I had the new York strip with all the sides crab legs mac n cheese potatoes barely had enough room for the dessert but was still able to squeeze some cream brulee I'm my gut.

We debated this one over David Chang's Majadorma and Bavette in Park MGM. So glad we chose this one - Bavette is based out of Chicago and the outside looked nothing special. Steve Wynn makes everything amazing - the atmosphere here is to DIE for and we sat inside. I felt like I missed nothing by not sitting outside. We were running late and they were so kind and accommodating, pushed our reservation out 45 minutes. THANK YOU!Complimentary parker house pretzel bread: Very good. I see they have a bread basket and my carb loving bones wish I would of requested that also LOL.Carpaccio: I have never had such greatness in my life. The pecans made it. The balsamic was not too much - actually HATE vinegar and balsamic. I would order this over and over.Chopped salad: came recommended - presentation was gorgeous. Kind of onion-y in the middle, but overall a solid salad. Did I need to order it? No. Was it good? Yes. Skip next time now that I did it? Yes.Filets: we went to Cut and Spago also on this trip and out of the three this was the lowest ranking. It did not have the crusty char on the outside. Inside was kind of meh (ordered medium). Not as flavorful as the other two, I actually left half of it behind. The bernaise sauce that we ordered with it (included in steak) was so potent I can't imagine who would eat it.Fries: came hot and were good - Cut's were better.Mac and Cheese: more like a pasta, absolutely phenomenal. Huge portion. We wayyyy over ordered at this dinner, especially with the complimentary bread and crostini from the carpaccio. Red Velvet Cheesecake: Nothing anything more special than cheesecake factory.Funnel cakes: only ordered them because I read so much about them. As expected deep fried fair food that I couldn't even stomach after such a rich dinner. The waitress let us order only two (thank god, only $4 each) and came with 2 HUGE strawberries and three sauces - all way too sweet for someone who has a gnarly gnarly sweet tooth. I'd probably skip dessert here next time.Service was great. I travel all over the country for work, visit steakhouses frequently, this was a good one. I love the Wynn, service was great, carpaccio was to die for and atmosphere is bomb. I recommend it ;)

Writing this poor review due to the fact my significant other and i got extremely sick from their food. We were out celebrating a birthday dinner in vegas, hoping to have a great night until we ended up getting sick. We spent $380 on dinner just to throw it all up. We both had the lobster and believe it was from that. One night in vegas was ruined due to the fact we couldn't leave the hotel room. We called and left a message. One of the hotels claims department called us back saying they inspected all the food and preparation and couldn't find anything.. well please explain why we got sick. Such a shame we wasted money here and a whole night in vegas. We will not be returning here.
Be the first to ReplyI'm gonna have to go with one star here.
..which might not be totally fair but I want you to prepare yourself for disappointment. At this price point your expectations are going to be very high, and rightfully so...but mix that with the pretentious staff and subpar food, it really is an unfortunate combination. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) on our Vegas trip celebrating 3- 50th birthdays. They sat us on the patio in view of the water show...which turns out is very....weird, not a deal breaker but it's odd, with avatars, robots, wind socks, if you like being confused or feel like you're on acid then this is the show for you! Sure it is a show, of sorts, but the water wall alone would have been lovely, you can hold the cheese. It was just something you would expect to see at an amusement park, we actually started laughing. We ordered the seafood tower for the table as an appetizer...it was good, not great. No drawn butter which you would expect when serving lobster and crab, our server wasn't around for us to request. I knew we would be drinking several bottles of wine, I was looking for something under $200/btl, they had few options. If you are offering me some amazing, artisan, small vineyard bottle of Bordeaux that would otherwise be unavailable to me and is delicious then yes! I want that and I am willing to pay...but when you are selling me a bottle that I can buy all day long for $30-$40 for $160, that is just obnoxious. They had a couple of options that were $120 and I mean a COUPLE. The first bottle we ordered was their last one (sigh). It was fine and good but retails for $34...whatever, we are in Vegas. We were gonna eat family style and ordered a Ceasar salad, the 40oz porterhouse with sides of the au gratin potato and creamed spinach and a mushroom wellington entrée for the 6 of us. The Ceasar salad came out first and it was not good. I was trying to determine if maybe it was charred Romain because it was so wilted and dead. Maybe 3 bites were taken of the salad from the whole of us, it looked terrible. It wasn't good, my friend picked off the croutons and ate those, they were good. Second bottle of wine selection was made by, I assume was the sommelier, not sure, he didn't introduce himself and snapped at me when I commented we were looking to stay below $4K/btl, guess he didn't think that was funny. The next wine was also good, again nothing special. The mushroom wellington wasn't shared and reported to have been good from the vegetarian at the table. The creamed spinach was cold, potatoes were good and very hot, the Porterhouse was TERRIBLE! Like y'all, it was BAD! Four of us worked in restaurants/steakhouses through college and seriously...this was not good. They did bring out 3 complementary desserts...this was because they sat a large table in front of us, nbd, but it was super tight and they kept bumping our table hard when they were setting up the table and siting them. These people were clearly IMPORTANT, as evidenced by, just like another review said, all the staff's attention suddenly being shifted. That table had their whole meal and were gone before our entrees came out, we weren't in a hurry, just note worthy. The desserts they brought out were the funnel cake/donut thing with dipping sauce, vanilla Ice cream scoop in a chocolate magic shell (again, something children would enjoy at an amusement park) and a red velvet cheesecake. We didn't stay for coffee or after dinner drinks, we moved on....and didn't really make a dent in the desserts. Our waiter was completely MIA, we waited forever for our check...which was about $1000.00, tip was not included. So my advise on this one....SKIP! So many lovely places and servers in Vegas. No doubt, it's hard to find the trifecta of ambiance, quality and value in Vegas. But one can often make up for the other...and all 3 of these here were lacking for us...did you really just serve me a dead $21 side salad and donuts and acted like a total snot while doing it?
