Wanted to try something I've never tried before, so I decided upon this restaurant after looking at the reviews. Once I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, I noticed how nice it was inside. The vibe was really chill yet professional. The hostesses were kind and professional as they looked for my meal, but I gave them my real name not the name I use online, so it took a few minutes; though no fault on them at all.
I ordered the Samaki Wa Mchuzi (fried Tilapia) and Bhajia (fried potatoes). It was okay. I didn't know if came with all the tomatoes on top; I dislike tomatoes. But the fish was good. Couldn't tell it was fried because of the sauce on it that made it soft.
I did not eat the plantains because I'm used to salty ones and these were too sweet for me. The collards were okay; again, a different style of cooking them than what I was used to.
Overall, it was okay. It wasn't nasty and it wasn't amazing. I'm glad I tried it though.
