Tai Wah Pork Noodle Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Disappointed
Really disappointed. I was expecting something at least tasty from a michelin star food stand. But the food is blunt, tastless, you don't really want to finish it. At least it's quite cheap
Not far from MRT Lavender
Not far fromMRT Lavender, close every Monday, 9.30-20.30 hrs. Not expensive, very cheap. many local restaurant nearby too.
Authentic
Be prepared for a bit of a wait, but the feed is wort it. The pork dishes are the famous dishes. To get a table loiter until one becomes available then pounce.
Is the hygiene aspect okay?
I went because the guide of the bicycle tour recommended it. It's Michelin starred and popular, so it's crowded, but it's delicious! I waited with anticipation for about 30 minutes? The queuing system is a mystery. You are summoned by an arrogant lady and you order. After that, you are ordered to go back to the line. While you wait for the food to be ready, the man who cooks the food exchanges cash for some reason. Why is this? Shouldn't the lady do it? It's a mystery. While I was waiting, I watched how the food was prepared, but the meat and innards that had been left in a hot place without air conditioning for hours were quickly dipped in hot soup and served, so I was worried and didn't eat the meat. I didn't understand why everyone was saying it was so delicious. It's not delicious enough to recommend to others, the place is unsanitary, and I was just surprised that this is the standard for one Michelin star. Well, it was an experience.
Excellent
Once again a pleasure to enjoy the fresh cuisine here. By chance only a few minutes waiting time and it is worth it. Today as a supplement: Dumplings
AUTHENTIC TEOCHEW PORK NOODLES
I was a regular when the noodle stall operated from a coffee shop in the North Bridge Road location. At that time a number of the brothers took turns to service the regular customers. Understand one or two of the brothers have opened up to run the same operation. This stall is still run by the eldest and one more brother. Since then, the operation at Crawford Lane has gained Michelin status. I now visit the stall only a few times a year because of the long queues. Happened to pass the coffee shop after going to the Immigration at Kallang. Was pleasantly surprised the q was less than 10. Bought the $6 small portion and one portion of the dried fish for another $6. The noodle was as good as l can recollect. The dried fish was acceptable but not as good as the version we had when we cook at home. A very good meal especially when Tai Hua is touted as the number one noodle in Singapore.

Good noodle shop but Michelin star I am not sure!
The Tai Hwa pork noodle shop is quite fascinating. They offer five main options for you to choose from. It's not extraordinary, but it's also not disappointing. The restaurant operates on a self-service basis, and there's usually a long line of customers waiting. I suggest heading there early and getting in line. Once you're done, you can visit a nearby shop to taste some delicious and top-notch durian.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
