Incredible experience and incredible hospitality.
The server was very knowledgeable of what came on the dishes. The old fashion I was served wasn't how I normally receive it although strong I missed the orange twist but gained a green maybe basil leaf but it did nothing for the aromatics were lost so it change the taste for me. Overall a neat place to try and they even do a special for groups like group meals and couple courses Chef would choose and send out which is nice and takes the pressure off ordering for guests.

Angry Dragon Roll was good, but Thai Duck Fried Rice was really good.

. absolutely love this place .. if ever in Vegas I promise you need to visit.. I didn't find not one thing wrong with this place

Tao was recommended for a group dinner and it lived up to its recommendation. We had a group of 7 and it was a good place for a group. We started with drinks and the fan favorite was the cucumber crush. We started with the gyoza which was delicious. A good pan fry on the gyoza and the sweet chili sauce was very good. We then had the triple pork fried rice and the pad Thai. The fried rice was really good and having good flavor from the different types of pork. The pad Thai was good but not the best. If you go with a group, don't forget to order a round of sake bombs. One more tip. If you eat at the restaurant you can get free entry to the club!

My Second visit to Tao, the food rating increased but still giving ambiance 1 star. I want to give 3.5 stars but going with 4 to balance the rating It's just so damn dark you can't see menus or people next to you, and it's so loud you can't talk either. Then there are the guys at the door harassing all women to push "free" admission & drinks, they keep texting for days after you leave Vegas. It's great if you want yo club, but not great to go with a date, maybe ok with a group that's boisterous. The waiter was fabulous, very cool & attentive. The drinks are good, tasty but not very strong. The Tao-Tini is still the best! So yummy! The crispy bao buns are delicious! I could them all night! Crunchy spicy tuna rolls were good but the spicy tuna tartar on crispy rice was so wonderful! Hot & sour soup with shrimp toast was my favorite! I like flavor & these dishes are the best so far. Recommend this for great drinks, good food & and club atmosphere
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful ambiance, delicious food.
Literally every dish was delicious. The champagne, the appetizers, the entrees and sushi. It was all so unique and delicious! Went here during my mini birthday Vegas trip and I am so glad I did! So so so fun and delicious!! Can't wait to try the LA location now!
Be the first to ReplyDine in, dinner, Feb 2024: Pork gyoza (7.
5/10) Chicken lollipops (8/10) Bao buns (8.5/10) Shrimp tempura (7/10) Lobster kimchi fried rice (5.5/10) Sushi: hamachi, salmon, toro, uni (7.5/10) Lychee martini (8.5/10) Pork gyoza were juicy and packed to the brim, the sauce on them had a good flavor. Chicken lollipops were small, sweet, sticky, easy to eat. Bao buns were unexpectedly yummy, small/med size, perfect texture of streamed/pan fried, not too bready, loved that it was served with black vinegar. Shrimp tempura was okay, thought the shrimp could've been bigger/juicier. The sushi was small but fresh, what you'd expect from a fusion/non-sushi restaurant. Lobster kimchee fried rice was the biggest disappointment, it lacked flavor, not even any spice from the kimchi, and there were no big pieces of lobster, was more like small shredded crawfish. Next time I would try other dishes but would still be fine ordering everything again except the fried rice.
Be the first to ReplyTao was nice ! I expected a little more though.
The service was just ok. The sushi was just ok. But the short ribs were really good ! This place is really beautiful on the inside... instagram worthy. It is really noisy inside so if you are looking for a quiet intimate dinner then this isn't it. Seating is also really close together. Overall. I would be back... it just wouldn't be one of my must visits every time I go to Vegas
Be the first to ReplyTao is a great Restaurant/ Nightclub.
. expensive but great experience. The food is delicious, expensive but tasty lol Service is great, very attentive and professional. Both sides of TAO are beautiful with the ambiance specific to the experience you are looking for. Beautiful place.

.. Quality/Quantity - Beaujolais - We should have just ordered a bottle. I am sure our 4 glasses were way more expensive. Decent selections for drinks; see pictures of menu. Simple bar menu available, see picture. Atmosphere - Cool spot, next door is their night club. Today a private party. Bar, lounge, table, upstairs or downstairs dining available. Seats 400! Cool decor throughout the restaurant also; see pictures. Even the entrance to this place is cool. It looks like bathtubs with rose petals; see pictures. Open 7 days a week from 5pm until midnight or 1am. Service - 5 stars, the bartender was very attentive. I lost my receipt so sorry, I can't give him credit. I think his name was John??? Price - Lost receipt, but I am sure I spent approximately $58+. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success in your 20 markets with over 80 locations. We have been to your locations in both LA and NY. I also did not know you owned so many brands; I have been to more of your locations than I thought!

This place was cute, i feel like you have to go once cause everyone goes and it's just a must. I like that it's more of a tapas style were you share all the meals like family style so you are able to taste a lot, portions aren't the largest but hey, guess that's a good thing in the long run, lol.
Be the first to ReplyThe food at Tao is pretty good.
I know that it is famously one of Kim Kardashian's favorite restaurants. Dining at the restaurant will get you guaranteed admission into the nightclub, which is rare for Vegas. However, when you do get into the nightclub, the drinks are going to be expensive and the bouncers will be annoying, but that's to be expected.

Came here with a large group booking and got seated in the nice back room. Good: - So many food options! I liked the fried rice and lobster as well as the pad see ew type dish - The fortune cookie dessert was super hilarious - it came with great mochi ice cream though that I ate a ton of - Sweet and sour pork was delicious and so was the fish Bad: - Super dark interior - Super expensive, don't think I've paid this much for a dinner in a while Overall this was a cool experience, really upscale and expensive though .
Be the first to ReplyFood was really good but the service needs a lot of work.
They hand off tables to each other without catching the new server up. Ordered 3 apps which came out 10 mins apart from each other. Very strange. Be prepared to sit for a while.

ambiance -- it was a big fancy restaurant that was decorated beautifully but very cramped together and dark. I was reading my menu with a flash light and there was barely room in between the tables. our reserved table for a party of 7 were squished into one table where we were sitting elbow to elbow. itfood -- hot and sour soup with shrimp toast ($12), yellowtail sashimi ($20), and thai duck fried rice ($21)the hot and sour soup and yellow tail were great! soup was seasoned very well and came out quickly, but the bread was a bit stale and hard to bite/ rip. the yellowtail sashimi was fresh and the I'm always a fan of a great citrus ponzu sauce to cut through and make the plate light and the kick of spice from the jalapeño on each piece! on the lower ends was the thai duck fried rice, it was very oily and the duck was dry. service --our server was very attentive and nice! the food came out all together, it took about 10-15 minutes for all of the plates to arrive.

Heard sooo many great things about this place we were very excited to come here. We made reservations and I would definitely recommend you do that. The decor is beautiful ! You walk in just looking around at everything at every turn. Only thing I would say the lighting is quite dim. But it fits the ambiance. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. He was very patient with us it was very large menu. I ordered the sea bass I cleaned my plate , the crispy chicken was amazing we had two different rice dishes and both were amazing. I can't remember what drink I had but it was spicy- very different but it was really unique. For dessert I didn't try the chocolate but man the Mochi tasting was my favvvvvv I love every bit of it. I will absolutely be back !
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambience, romantic, elegant and sophisticated.
Handsome Asian men work here. Customer service is great. Located inside the Venetian. We came here for dinner.. Food was okay.. The drinks are pretty good. Two floors all decorated in beautiful giant calligraphy with lanterns galore. It's like stepping into an ancient Chinese palace and dining with the emperor himself. When you're here, you kind of feel like you're in royal company.. this place is beautiful, majestic and romantic.. love it. Highly recommend..
Be the first to ReplyWe had a 45min wait for our table when we were on time.
Staff was nice but disorganized. The music from the nightclub was so loud we couldn't even hear each other. The food was whack. It was super over priced fast food Asian bistro fare. Almost everything was fried. Our server wasn't attentive. We received a table for 7 when our reservation was for 8 after the 45min wait. I have been to tao several times and have never had this experience. The tasting menu is usually the way to go. The food is usually delicious with impeccable service. I used to recommend this restaurant (and night club) to everyone who asks me about traveling to the strip. Now, I won't be returning and I won't be recommending it. There are some other really awesome restaurants in the Venetian. I strongly recommend trying one of those and avoiding the outdated hype about Tao.

An iconic asian bistro located on the strip (in Venetian hotel), TAO boasts a sultry indoor ambience with delicious asian cuisine. Reservations/Walk in-We were hoping to reserve a table the day of but unfortunately found limited options and decided to try walk in instead. We were told that we could wait for a table or we could choose to sit at the bar or a nearby lounging area for a complete dining experience on a first come, first serve basis. We elected to choose the nearby lounging area which came with comfy couches and a low coffee table that presented a more casual dining experience. We had no issues with the seating and in fact, it made our lives easier that we were able to still have access to their full menu and were able to be seated quickly. Though it would have been nice to be seated at a table, the informality and ease of this option was almost preferred for our plans that evening. Drinks- 1) Red Shen- 5/5. A delicious mocktail with flavors of pomegranate, orange and pineapple. 2) Cucumber crush- 5/5. Refreshing and even comes with cucumber ice! For those that want something not terribly sweet but something more light and freshFood- We tried a few options-1) Vegetable dumplings: 5/5. So tasty and nearly melted in your mouth2) Lobster wontons- 5/5. Delicious, creamy and flavorful these wontons came accompanied with mushrooms and a delicious broth3) Yellowtail sashimi- 5/5. So so good especially if you like fresh tasting sashimi. 4) Pad Thai w/ shrimp- 3/5. This was a very mediocre and compared to other pad thai dishes I've had from local mom & pop shops, it paled in comparison5) Charred Brussels sprouts- 3/5. Though these sprouts were cooked well, I was not a fan of the flavor and have had better. Service-5/5. We were a little apprehensive choosing to sit in the lounging area that we may be forgotten or our service may be lagging due to the fact that we were not at a normal table, however we felt well taken care of and our waitress, Nunu, was absolutely wonderful! Overall, some of TAO's dishes may be hit or miss but I did really enjoy the first three options we got and a huge part of their dining experience is the ambience and the atmosphere. I would recommend especially if you're looking for a more upscale dining experience with a comparable and a little more affordable pricing compared to other well known restaurants on the strip.
Be the first to ReplyI recently visited Tao in Las Vegas and was impressed by
I recently visited Tao in Las Vegas and was impressed by the overall dining experience. Located inside the Venetian Hotel, the restaurant boasts a chic and modern ambiance with Asian inspired decor, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. The menu features a variety of Asian fusion dishes, including sushi, dim sum, and small plates, as well as larger entrees like steak and seafood. One standout dish was the crispy rice with spicy tuna, which was bursting with flavor and texture. The sushi rolls were also well executed, with fresh and high quality ingredients. The service at Tao was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of cocktails, including their signature Tao tinis, which were creatively crafted and delicious. The Tao tini at Tao in Las Vegas is a delicious and creative cocktail that perfectly complements the restaurant's Asian inspired menu. At first glance, the cocktail looks impressive with a light, frothy layer on top. The egg white froth gives the drink a velvety texture, while the cold press lemon adds a refreshing acidity that balances out the sweetness of the cranberry and the tropical flavors of the mango and coconut. The New Amsterdam Mango Vodka provides a strong and distinct fruity flavor that is complemented well by the Rum Haven Coconut Rum, which adds a subtle coconut taste without overpowering the other flavors in the cocktail. The Tao tini is served in a tall, elegant glass, making it a visually appealing drink as well. It's the perfect accompaniment to any meal at Tao, or as a standalone drink to sip on while enjoying the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere.Sizzling soy sauce chicken was an incredibly flavorful and satisfying dish. The dish arrives at the table on a sizzling hot plate, which adds a dramatic element to the dining experience. The chicken is cooked to perfection, with a crispy and caramelized exterior and tender, juicy meat on the inside. The soy sauce glaze that coats the chicken is the star of the dish, providing a perfect balance of salty, sweet, and umami flavors that enhance the natural taste of the chicken. Spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice it was a delightful and innovative dish that exceeded my expectations. The presentation was visually stunning, with the vibrant colors and textures of the dish making it a feast for the eyes. The crispy rice provided a crunchy texture that contrasted nicely with the creamy avocado and the tender and flavorful tuna tartare. The spiciness of the dish was well balanced, providing a mild heat that added a nice kick without overwhelming the other flavors. Satay of Chilean sea bass with miso glaze The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection, with a moist and tender texture that was perfectly complemented by the rich and savory miso glaze. The flavors of the two ingredients melded together beautifully, resulting in a dish that was both delicate and full of depth. What really stood out to me was the skill of the chefs in executing the dish. The sea bass was perfectly grilled, with a crispy exterior that gave way to the tender, flaky fish inside. The miso glaze was also expertly crafted, with just the right balance of salty and sweet flavors.Chef's roll was a truly exceptional dish. The combination of fresh salmon and tuna, creamy avocado, and spicy aji Amarillo sauce was a winning combination that resulted in a complex and delightful flavor profile. The fish was of exceptional quality, with a tender and delicate texture that practically melted in my mouth. The avocado added a creamy and rich texture that complemented the fish well. What really stood out to me was the aji amarillo sauce, which provided a spicy and savory flavor that balanced out the richness of the fish and avocado. The sauce was expertly crafted, with just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor. The colors of the dish were vibrant and visually appealing, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience make it well worth the journey. I would highly recommend Tao to anyone looking for a memorable and satisfying meal in Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyThe scene when you walk by the concrete baths with petals
The scene when you walk by the concrete baths with petals and the soft glowing light, sets the mood for which the inside solidifies. You are transported to another place, another world. The service is so friendly and they make it to look effortless to transform the room or tables to accommodate. They are a well functioning machine of impeccable world class service. The dishes smelled, looked, and tasted like what you'd dream about. The only negative here was the noise. It definitely was a LOUD room for dinner and so that made it hard to hear people in our party. Other than that the Buddha, was mesmerizing and I absolutely appreciated the attention to aesthetic detailing
Be the first to ReplyThis review would have been a perfect 5, but unfortunately
This review would have been a perfect 5, but unfortunately things did not end well. Upon getting up from our table exiting to leave, we were approached by management. He asked if we had a problem with our meal and or service. We were confused because we had a great time. He asked why did we only leave his waiter a $5 tip. Now we are really confused because we left a cash tip of $75 on a $366 check. We handed the billfold with our signed receipts and cash directly to our waiter. As we stated this to the manager, the waiter came over apologizing, stating that the rest fell out in his apron. If the waiter would have taken the time to check his pockets before running to management, it would have saved us the embarrassment. The manager gave a short apology but unfortunately the damage had already been done. The insincere apology did not make up for the fact that he stopped us in our tracks about a tip. Even if we had only gave $5, what was approaching us like we were unruly guest trying to eat and run going to accomplish. We paid our bill. If I am not mistaken that was our only obligation. Unless Nevada is a state where tipping is mandated, the manager should have never stop us to question us. Do not assume that when you see four woman of color that we do not know the rules of tipping. If the service was that horrible we would have asked for management prior to paying our bill and had everything paid for and left no tip. Since the manager and waiter embarrassed us in front of the other patrons, we had wish we would have asked for our tip back and just left him with $5. But after the interrogation, all we wanted to do is leave the restaurant. What would have been an epic dinner, turned out to be an epic failure. I give TAO's management a thumbs down on how they handled this situation..

I past this place as I was browsing in the Mall in the Hotel in Vegas. The aroma was exquisite and I made up my mind on my next Vegas visit, I was determined to dine here. When I returned, I tried to get a reservation via the online App to no avail. So I ordered my food to go. When I showed up to pick up my food, they had to search for my order. So I was invited to dine in which is what I wanted all along. My Sisters and I had a Six Course Meal. It was fantastic. One of my Sisters is a Vegetarian so we ordered both Meat and Veggie Options when appropriate. It was one of the best Dining Experiences for us. I heard there is another Tao's in Chicago. I can't wait to give them a try too when I'm on the road again
Be the first to ReplyI love this place.
Food, drink and service are on point. Our waiter kept the food and drinks coming. We have been here before and went for a bachelor this time. Everyone enjoyed it. It was one of the highlights of the trip! Ambiance is great. My only compliant- get rid of the bathroom attendant! I don't want to tip someone to give me a paper towel.

Like Disneyland, you have to come to Tao Asian Bistro at least once in your lifetime! The food, the service, the ambiance...is on another level. This is dining at the finest. I've been here twice now and I am always blown away with their food. They take the tiniest detail to heart and make it delicious. I would love to pinpoint a certain dish, but they are all good. David, waited on us. He is warm and welcoming. He knows all the dishes and helped us out when selecting our delectable meal. The General Manager, Jacobo Duran, keeps it all running friendly and smoothly. If you want to impress...yourself and others...be sure to visit Tao Asian Bistro, to make your Las Vegas experience memorable.
