Interesting food choices
Tasi is a hidden gem, tucked in off a back street just a block from High Street in the Short North. Very small, we were seated quickly and enjoyed quick service. The menu boards span the entire length of the room, with plenty of interesting options. I enjoyed a cuban stacked with meat, and my companion enjoyed an egg scramble. There were several other things I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back! My only complaint is that the music was quite loud, which made conversation difficult. Otherwise, a definite must-try!

Stopped here on a Saturday morning around 10:00 am. You could smell the delicious food around the corner. Place was bumping. Great vibes. We were quickly seated inside (it was too chilly to us to sit outside but we took note of the pretty layout they had going) and was greeted by our waitress who was happy to make recommendations. We decided to do a sample-spread style. We ordered a half-plate of sausage gravy & biscuits, half-plate banana french bread, ham breakfast bagel, smoked salmon benedict, orange juice, and lavender blueberry mismosa. About 20 minutes later, our spread arrived. Holy smokes. Everything was DELICIOUS. I'm glad we did half-plates because we barely finished what we had between the two of us. We waddled out very happy bellies. Worth every penny!

Love this little spot hidden off a back street in the Italian Village side of the Short North neighborhood. Lots of great breakfast and lunch options... with breakfast classics served all day. Definitely a local favorite.
Be the first to ReplyHidden Gem in the Short North
My husband and I were exploring the Short North last weekend and literally stumbled onto this little hidden gem on Pearl St. where we ended up having to park. We stopped in for a very late lunch at 3pm so there were only a few people left eating inside but it's such a cute little place that's quite cozy so we decided to stay. The menu was great with so many options that I would have loved trying. I ended up getting the chicken pesto parm panini with chips was absolutely delicious! My husband went with the tacos which he said were so good! The service was great and the ingredients were so fresh. I will definitely be coming back to this little hidden gem!

We enjoyed our breakfast at Tasi. The service was very good and the food was delicious! The ingredients were all high quality. The pancakes were delicious and the bacon was done just as ordered. My husband loved his croissant breakfast sandwich. The coffee was very good! Highly recommend!

I was so happy to find this small, charming cafe, where I enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich with raisins and pine-nuts (on a croissant; not sure why) and a glass of wine. More neighborhood vibe than the High St restaurants. I'd have been happy to back if I were staying longer.

Breakfast is not your average offerings. The flavors are well thought out and crafted with high quality ingredients. The pancakes are exceptional and the breakfast burrito is full of flavor. They offer a great cup of coffee! Will come back for sure!

What a great find. This is a small place just off High Street so the line could get long on the weekends. But the wait is definitely worth it. The food is excellent. We had the Challah French Toast and the Greek Scramble, both soooo good. The portions are generous so come hungry. I would definitely recommend trying Tasi for breakfast.

Unique menu excellently prepared. We came here twice to enjoy the variety. Staff was great and caramel rolls are fresh and not two sweet.

We went there for after church brunch. Great variety of breakfast. I had the quinoa veggie with two eggs. . It was delicious. Our group of five all liked their food choices. It is very small Inside which could make for longer wait times. We timed it well to get a table. Food came out fast and steaming. Great place to go to get something a little different. Not just and eggs and bacon kind of place.

This tucked away restaurant is well worth venturing off High Street. Deliciousness awaits with fresh breakfast, brunch and lunch items. It's cozy inside and you may find yourself sharing a table, but folks are friendly and happy to make room. Food is consistently on point.
