One of the best meals I've had in Paris
The food may look simple. But it has layers of flavours that take a lot of skill to pull off. Delicious meal tonight with my grown up son. We tried 3 entrรฉes-cauliflower, hummus, eggplant. All 3 were exquisite. I am Israeli and this was beyond your standard Israeli fare. For mains we both had the fish balls that wee excellent. For dessert we share malabi with toasted pistachios on top. It was ridiculously good. The food is unprentious and just damn good. Service was quick and friendly. I totally recommend.
Be the first to ReplyNice neighbourhood restaurant
1) Good food, nice recipes 2) Small portions so might feel overpriced 3) Nice location in Le Marais 4) Itโs Paris so all tables are back to back so you can hear everything the table next to you is discussing and itโs even more apparent as the restaurant is small - it might fit 15 people inside?

Every time I go to Paris I eat here and I am never disappointed. Simple, honest , great food cook as only a middle eastern chef knows how.
Be the first to ReplyNice food and affordable places
Really liked this place. Not expensive, nice food, fast service, full room, lively vibe. I do recommend to anyone that likes Israeli food and a lively atmosphere.

You know ottolenghi? This is unolenghi. Uninspired food, insipid overpriced wines. There are photos on the wall of the original Moroccan Jews who set it up. Iโd be surprised if them or their family are still involved. Just not worth it.
