The meat that I ordered was so amazing the chef that cooked it was very attentive to the temperature that I ordered. The service was so amazing and I heard that chef Justine cooked the food and I was so amazed by the food.

Tasty food and nice atmosphere. The main reason we picked this place was proximity to an event we attended but we were not disappointed. We shared the swordfish and wagyu steak which was delicious. The dessert and drinks were on point too!
Be the first to ReplyRaw meat delivered but handled very well by staff.
The pork chop was ordered medium but delivered seared raw. The chef was apologetic and the staff looked after me with extra wine and dessert. I can’t fault the response to a disappointing kitchen error. Kudos to the management for how they handled. Thank you!

The decor is beautiful and the service--especially from the assistant servers--was great. But the food... maybe I chose poorly but yikes. My Waygu steak was tough and unbelievably salty. And the chocolate napoleon for dessert was so stale that I could not cut through the pastry with a sharp knife. It was really not good, and disappointing given how great it could have been, and how lovely the surroundings.

Went to the bar at Temple Court and it was lovely. Wonderful ambience to sit and enjoy, especially around the holidays. We sat right in the center under the atrium, on a couch / chair. Service was good and so was food / drink.
Be the first to ReplyBeekman is the hidden gem in lower Manhattan!
From the moment you step into Temple Court at The Beekman Hotel, you're immediately enveloped by an ambiance that exudes both sophistication and a refreshingly cool vibe. The architectural beauty of the place seamlessly blends with its modern touches, creating an atmosphere that's both nostalgic and contemporary. But what truly sets Temple Court apart is its impeccable drink menu. Each cocktail is a masterpiece, crafted with precision, passion, and a flair for the dramatic. The bartenders here are not just mixologists; they're artists who pour their heart and soul into every concoction, ensuring that each sip is memorable.

Enjoyed lunch and drinks while staying at The Beekman Hotel. The service was great. The food was good. The drinks were delicious. Treated to a lively band on one of of the three stops while to and from the hotel. The one exception of the great service was for a drink at the bar later in the evening. I particularly enjoyed the burger. It was made to perfection and you will not be disappointed by the portion. I recommend a visit even if not staying onsite.
Be the first to ReplyA step across the city park, into an oasis!
My Partner and I were on a round the city trip and it’s was majestically hot at 1pm and we stopped to see Brooklyn Bridge, and saw this dark doorway looking inviting. A very cool a dimly lit but very high space met us with a long wall length bar & barstools. I asked our bartender for 2 different rum based cocktails, she duly whipped up a classic Margarita and a “Summer vacation” with rum! Both were really well made shaken, chilled and poured.

I have been to the lobby bar at the Beekman several times and it's my favorite in NYC. Amazing character and atmosphere! This time I took a colleague here for drinks after dinner and there was nothing available on a Tues night. They offered to give us a table in the Temple Court even though all we were having were drinks. That is highly unusual and we greatly appreciated it! We had a wonderful time and were not made to feel like we were taking up space without ordering. I will definitely return, only the next time will be to actually have dinner.

Service was excellent!! Food was great. Portions were larger than expected but very enjoyable. I will be back. Prices weren’t bad
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely worth it
We stayed at the Beekman on two different occasions in the last few weeks. We frequented the temple court bar room several times. The food is great. The portions are amazing if not a little too big. :)
We also tried a couple mocktails and cocktails- super good. My other half is picky about whisky sours and they easily met expectations.
I would like to shout out to two people specifically. Michelle took care of us for breakfast. We had our direct flight home canceled and we were facing a long day of rerouting. Michelle’s attitude and efficiency left us with smiles and lifted spirits. She really made our day!
Jason took care of us the night before. I enjoyed him also and he remembered my other half liked her whisky sour in a regular glass versus a special one.
We would revisit this place without a doubt.
Michele was almost as great as my avocado toast
Breakfast was great but the highlight was Michele who helped get our friend connected with the doorman to get a cab to get to JFK She was so professional and friendly And engaging. She made our day. The food and atmosphere was so special. Highly recommend

Sit in Michelle’s section whenever possible. She is friendly, helpful fast and efficient. She is a joy.Breakfast do not miss the duck confit hash. Trust me.

This is a place you must check out, amazing ambiance and great food. Really worth to try, good service as well.
Be the first to ReplyCome have breakfast with Michelle :)
I would come back to Temple Bar for breakfast for the service alone. Michelle is an intuitive, radiant being, and her recommendations were terrific. Who would guess that avocado toast in New York is better than in California?

My server Michele was so wonderful for breakfast each day. She has an amazing upbeat personality and that was so nice to be greeted by in the morning. Great conversation also Her service was top notch !

At the Temple Court Bar, probably the best hanger steak prepared. Perfectly seared and the whole steak was rare throughout, not even a gradient of medium to rare, outside in, often seen prepared at inferior kitchens. A congratulatory bow to the chef who prepared my steak that night. The filet was a great portion for the price.
I live in Brick NJ and would drive there, 1 1/2 hour, for dinner on a sat night if the dish was a staple. It’s that good.
Duck confit salad was amazing. The wonder was the Panko crusted fried whole egg with still a runny yolk A feat that should be the gold standard for all Irish bars who serve the similar style scotch egg. Sadly you only get one. I would devour a whole plate.
Only criticism is the average pumpkin panna cotta which was not as velvety as it should be.
The decor and ambiance is perfect. A lounge style dining area where one can have drinks and converse to hang out or eat amazing food. Only regret was not trying the dinning area due to time restraints.
Disappointing
Expected more from a Tom Colicchio Place. Food is mediocre with Tennis Ball like Dinner Rolls. Wine list disappoints. Quality and Service does not stand up to the prices charged!
