The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas - Buy Reservations

My husband and I came here with a few friends on our way out of Vegas. It seemed like the perfect way to end our short weekend trip to get married. This seemed like one of the only buffers in the area that had good reviews and didn't require a reservation. A few of the places we wanted to go required reservations and even a few weeks out had none available.We arrived and parked in the large parking structure. There are digital signs telling you how many spaces are available and even lights green/red above the parking stalls to show where openings were. There are handicap parking stalls next to the elevators. When we arrived at the buffet there was a long line and then a short line for priority. Which I think you pay extra for priority but it is probably worth it.I believe we waited in like for 3-4 hours until we were seated. This seems to be common because they have a wrap around line area with a built in railing. I would normally not wait this long for food but we sort of reached a point of no return. This also was a Sunday during brunch time which I'm sure didn't help. Once we were seated a waitress took our drink order, we all had soda. It seems they only bring you 2 drinks, after the refill the waitress didn't come back over with more drinks and seemed to stay away from our table.Towards the end of the 2 hour limit they stopped clearing our plates and the table became crowded.As for the food everything was pretty good, not worth the wait though. They didn't have the chicken and waffles when I was there but this could have been the time. It was heavy on the breakfast foods even though it was about 2pm. I think this was due to the special Sunday brunch.Breakfast taco was really good as well as the chicken apple sausages. A lot of the food looks really cute in its small sized portions but was really just OK. The desserts were a highlight. I particularly enjoyed the mini crème brûlée and some type of pistachio mousse cake. They had a made to order crepe station with several filling choices, strawberries, whip cream and chocolate.

"Best buffet on the strip" still fits the bill! I've been going to Wynn Buffet since they opened, and they are so consistent. My only gripe as a pescatarian is there aren't many fish options outside of the shrimp, crab and mussels. Oftentimes the fish dishes offered are dry and not so tasty. If they only gave the fish station as much love as they give all the meats, it could be divine. Like maybe whole fish, brined and seasoned, cut by piece as we come through the line. I'm not swayed from my five stars though, because the sides and veggies more than make up for this little issue. And let's not forget the dessert room - something I'll save room for every single time!

Easily one of the best buffets on the strip where it's not just about quantity but quality. DO - get yourself a reservation in advanced DON'T - do a walk-in. Trust me. You'll save yourself the grief of waiting. Brunch to me is the best because you will get a taste of the amazing breakfast and you will be there just as they're adding on the lunch offerings Bring lots if cash and tip your servers well.

..or in this case, for the win! She is the REASON and the sole reason for this 5 star review! She was attentive and personable and kind and sweet and, and, and...the list goes on and on with her! From the moment we sat down and was greet by her, she made us feel at home! Our every wishes we're granted and she was just all around the BEST waitress we have ever had the chance of meeting...she was so warm and friendly, you can tell just by her smile! The food unfortunately was VERY UNDERWHELMING...as well as the food variety/choices. We prepaid online but still had to wait about 20 mins. When we got in, the restaurant was beautiful! The crab legs were a bit salty but who cares...nobody's should ever complain about all you can eat crab legs! Lol everything else unfortunately was very lackluster especially if you were to compare it with the Bacchanal Buffet over at Caesars Palace. Even the dessert area had much to be desired! But with all that said, this is still the second best buffet in Vegas, second only to The Bacchanal out at Caesars Palace. Please don't take our word for it, everyone has their own preference! But for sure...if you're going to give the Wynn Buffet a try, you MUST request for Melissa! She is FABULOUS and I am sure you will LOVE her as much as we do! Melissa is a win for the WYNN!

The only reason I didn't give The Buffet 5 stars is because of the wait time. My partner and I were there for brunch on a Sunday, without a reservation, and we were in line for over and hour. And it seems the wait continued because after the hour we spent eating and people watching inside, when we walked out we still saw some of the same people in line. It's a popular buffet, so if you have the patience and are really hungry, you won't mind the wait.Once we were given our table, it was nothing but a great experience. The selections for a Sunday brunch were AMAZING! From your usual breakfast choices, to the carnitas, pozole, street corn, and mole in the Mexican section... WOW! They had an array of salads, soups (chicken noodle, tomato soup, lobster bisque, vegetable soup), meat selections, as well as great Asian food choices like sushi, noodles, egg rolls, and an egg drop soup station. Obviously there's so much more, but I could only eat so much. And don't get me started on their dessert room. YES, a room only for desserts! We had been to the brunch buffet at Caesars Palace the day before, but most definitely preferred The Buffet at Wynn over the Bacchanal at Caesars, and this one was less expensive. So again, be warned about the wait time on a Sunday, but it'll be worth it!

There aren't as many options as Bachanal buffet but the quality is better. The brunch was excellent but didn't have prime rib and that is the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star. Service and ambiance were excellent

Not enough variety, and the meats and chicken were dried out. Everything was nice and clean but quality lacked. Wicked spoon is definitely a lot better. The guy at the meat carving station needs some more customer service training. Would not serve me because my plate wasn't up to his waist.

This place is supposed to be luxury and full of respectful people but yet today when i went I asked how long was the wait for the lunch buffet and the lady in the front ( host) . W/ the iPad said its 69 $ , I said I'm not asking for the price I'm asking for the wait time . She just looked at me up and down so disrespectful and judgmental, idk if she thought because I had tattoos or something I couldn't afford to eat at this buffet but never again , they're rude they need to be trained for customer service and not judge .
