Worst Service Ever
Restaurant was about 20% occupied. Waited 25 minutes to be seated on a 15 minute estimate. Once seated waited 20 minutes while staff wandered about (there were more staff than customers). Finally left in disgust and ate in the food court. No more Cheesecake Factory anywhere!
Be the first to ReplyImpressed with veggie options
Great menu, impressed at the veggie options and at the skinny options although I failed to order one. We shared zucchini fries- delicious and both had burgers with fries. They were huge, couldn’t eat it all which was a shame because my veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Cheesecake to go for dessert as we couldn’t miss out on the chance to experience it. Service, food and menu were all excellent. Restaurant was a bit too cold in my opinion.
Be the first to ReplyBig menu, pretty good food...
Ordered takeout: Pepperoni flatbread - ok, decent crust and toppings, could have been cooked a bit more. Crust not as crusty as I like. Baja Chicken Tacos were good - all 4 of them. Chicken a litte overdone & dry, bit spicy, good portions. Jamaican Pepper shrimp are plenty peppery, well done, good presentation. Cheesecakes: Mango Keylime - tasty, Godiva chocolate - not as choclolate as I would like, but good. White choc raspberry truffle - pretty good, not inspiring. Parking in the Cambridgeside garage cost $3 for the amount of time the pickup took.
Be the first to ReplyHighly Disappointing, estimated “90 minute wait”
The Cheesecake Factory is normally a go-to for us, and in fact we planned our trip to Boston around it since we don’t have any TCF restaurants in Maine. However, this experience was less than desirable and in the most truthful way of putting it it was pure chaos. We walked in at 8 PM on a Saturday and were told that there was a “80 to 90 minute wait.” I wouldn’t wait an hour and a half to eat pretty much anything, so we didn’t stay. The lobby looked worse than the longest line at the most popular ride of Disney world; people standing everywhere in no organized fashion... just bumping into each other and not even forming a line. You can’t hear yourself think over the conversations of all these people in addition to the loud music playing overhead. If anyone from management/customer service reads this, my suggestion would be to get some sort of dividers to create an actual line and incorporate more lobby seating. If your restaurant is this popular, you need to find ways to be equipped to handle that volume of people especially at high-demand time periods like weekends.

What would a guy from Australia, South Africa and Jersey could order at the CheeseCake Factory in Cambridge. It’s a rare moment to meet a second generation Sikh hostess. The waiter certainly did get confused when two people tried to customize the menu to their vegetarian taste. Impossible burger did manage to rescue one. Almost after half an hour of back and froth in a busy evening, INR person realized the waiter didn’t mean to really make Mushroom Sauté. His cook was making Chicken on a Mushroom. Third one was felling lucky with his fish taco. Though one can wonder if that’s a good way to eat fish. Overall the experience wasn’t bad. Chain restaurants are not quite your personal chef places.

Be the first to ReplyAmazing Nachos but disappointing service
I had dinner with my family in this restaurant, no waiting time required to be seated, but the man who served us was not welcoming and never smiled, I asked him about the content of a dish and he replied: it’s written in the menu, read it !!! I was shocked by his reply, We ordered classic nachos to share which was amazing, in fact the best nachos I have ever tasted, the rest of the food including the cheese cakes were fabulous, we ordered red velvet and caramel with nuts cheesecakes. It’s a bitty with such a good food, I hope that the service will improve.

I had the miso glazed salmon. It was sweet and savory and tender. It’s one of my favorites. Also had the stuffed mushrooms which were great
