My only regret about staying at this hotel was that we got in late at night and only stayed one night. The rooms are great and the outdoor pool and spa a great way to unwind. We would have liked a breakfast restaurant or buffet but made do with the offerings of the cafe
Be the first to ReplyFantastically pleasurable fun time. The Front desk is really what makes this place special. The human element
I absolutely adore this hotel, it's a Fun lil joint that's world class...in my humbled opinion as one who traveled and patronizes 1k's of places. When it comes to silicon valley there's really only 3 spots The four seasons, rosewood and The Shashi😁

Decent hotel that was clean and close to a banquet venue I was attending at the computer history museum. The staff was friendly. My stay was very short and I didn't get to try the restaurant or bar area. I did like that parking was free and had their own garage. An extra bonus was that they had EV chargers that were also complimentary. The room was on the smaller side but still able to stretch out. Only downside was the walls were slightly thin and you could hear furniture moving around and footsteps.

I stay here somewhat frequently for business. Easily the best hotel I stay in for work. New and nicely appointed building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very nice. The restaurant downstairs is incredible. My only complaint is that the TV is not very intuitive to use. I never did figure out how to just surf regular channels.

Be the first to ReplyGreat Service, Clean Facility, and Excellent location
To begin, Shashi's customer service was fantastic. All of their associates were professional, polite, and very accommodating. My wife very much appreciated not only how clean the room was but also the cleanliness of the hotel in general. We enjoyed the quality of their robes as they were very soft and luxurious. It was also pretty convenient being as close as we were from the hotel to Googleplex - literally 3minutes away. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely choose them as hosts again.
Be the first to ReplyThe room was spacious, but there were issues with the lights and TV spontaneously turning on during the night.
During our recent stay at the Shashi Hotel, I encountered a mix of experiences that diverged from their advertised 5-star standard. The hotel's boutique nature, with only 200 units within the Google campus, sets it apart from others, offering a unique location just a short walk from the Googleplex. Our booking process began smoothly with an early check-in and room upgrade managed through the hotel's app. However, complications arose when the app failed to provide us with our room number and mobile key. Despite proactive efforts and assistance from the upbeat front desk staff member, Evelyn, the app continued to malfunction, leading us to resort to a traditional check-in. Upon arrival, we appreciated the convenient covered parking. However, the promised room upgrade was unavailable due to a booking error, which was promptly rectified with a refund. The hotel also compensated for this inconvenience with complimentary water bottles. Unfortunately, the Broma restaurant was closed for a private event, though we had reservations for the following night. The room itself was spacious with a well-sized bathroom, though we struggled initially with the light switches and the Smart TV's streaming capabilities. The first night was particularly challenging due to the lights and TV spontaneously turning on, which we initially mistook for a ghostly encounter. This issue was later resolved by using the main switches, although the front desk's response to our phone call was less than helpful, attributing the problem to a simple need for new batteries. Our second night proved more restful after learning the correct method to power off the TV (hold the power button 3 seconds to full turn it off including its screensaver) and ensuring the recessed lighting stayed off. We also faced difficulties with the hotel's spotty WiFi, which was crucial for submitting my projects. The front desk provided access to a more reliable, secured network after explaining the ongoing network updates. On our departure day, we encountered another hiccup when our key cards failed to work before the late check-out time, requiring assistance from a cleaner to access our room. The front desk attributed this issue to a staff oversight in adjusting the key card's validity. Dining at the Broma restaurant offered a mixed experience. The food was inconsistent, though the cocktails were enjoyable. Due to the lack of nearby dining options, Broma served as a convenient, if not exceptional, choice. In summary, while Shashi Hotel demonstrates potential, it falls short of the seamless experience provided by larger, mainstream hotels. Issues that arose during our stay were addressed, but many could have been avoided with better foresight and system checks. The hotel's service and amenities were generally good, but there's room for improvement to truly align with its 5-star claim.

Great room, friendly helpful staff & perfect location 4 mins drive to work with free parking, modern design and cute shared hot tub outside. LOVE this hotel and 100% recommend to stay here! There shouldn't be a minimum to post this review.

This hotel is such a surprise. Located in an urban business park setting, it features anything one might want in a luxe and relaxing stay: hip bar, fantastic restaurant, pool, fitness studio, cozy rooms with all the conveniences, and comfy beds. Stuff is friendly and accommodating, and the place buzzes with great energy.

The hotel feels very private with a outside courtyard and pool and hot tub in the middle of the hotel. It is very modern looking with plenty of hotel covered parking. Staff very friendly. They have their own restaurant. A upscale Mexican Restaurant. Just a couple of blocks off the Hiway #101 in Mt. View. They have small meeting rooms you can rent by the hour to meet clients and have a private lunch or get some work done.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to stay in the San Jose area.
A fairly new hotel & spa in the Google campus district. It's well designed and maintained. I initially booked because of the low cost and high ratings. I wasn't disapointed. The staff is well trained and professional. I needed to stay an extra night and the front desk was extremely helpful to make that happen. The rooms are new and clean. I just used it for a place to sleep and was not interested in any of the spa ammenities, but I was several guests in robes, so I imagine others did. The breakfast faire was good. They have a beautiful, fully stocked bar, but i never came back to the hotel before it closed at 10pm. Parking is free and in an attached structure. If you have an option, drive the smaller of your vehicles since the spaces are a bit tight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend choosing this hotel over others if price and cleanliness are your two highest criterias.

I stayed for over a week. The Location is perfect, room clean and neat, sauna and steam bad to start the day, gym with everything you need, and after work couple drinks with a nice dinner. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in business trip. thanks to all the staff, best staff ever!
Be the first to ReplyNot a 5-star resort:(
The staff were wonderful- however, the facility was far from a 5 or even 4 star property. The sinks and shower in the bathroom got all wet when used, and the stairs in the ”covered” parking garage were totally flooded when it rained (which was most of my stay.) In addition, the complimentary coffee in the lobby did not have any milk or milk alternative options aside from a cheap prepackaged creamer, which is surprising. I asked for oat or soy milk and was told I’d have to purchase a coffee from their (expensive) restaurant. The soap dispenser was broken and the TV remote was hard to use. There were no rawest for storage and the room was very dark. All of these inconveniences are not acceptable if you call yourself a 5-star resort. We did get free water, however, which was nice.

Clean, comfortable & cool Great stop to rest and relax while in sjc Restaurants are not open late in area so be sure to plan accordingly. But overall best lay over to spend the night or in town for business or pleasure. I
Be the first to ReplyLove this modern beautiful hotel near the Google campus..
For starters the staff know how to make you feel so welcomed and appreciated. They’re very enthusiastic about showing off the beautiful and modern facility- pool, spa, gathering areas, and a very cool bar. They also serve a wonderful international breakfast. Rooms are immaculate have everything you need while maintaining that modern urban minimalist vibe.

The young lady at the front was very kind. She has a very bright and beauty smile that matches well with the establishment! I think her name was Ariana? The bed was very comfy and the shower, oh my lord the shower water was "soft" I loved it
Be the first to ReplyHad such a great time!
The hotel is very cozy and the staff is amazing. Can’t wait to visit again. The location is conveniently next to shoreline and it’s a nice area. I slept better in the bed they have in their rooms better than at home. ♥️

I really enjoyed the live music in the lobby, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and had everything I needed and I had a great workout in the morning enjoying the view to the pool. Thank you!

I had stayed at the hotel, and let me tell you literally everybody who works there was so friendly and accommodating. It was clean and sanitary, the sauna was amazing. The restaurant and bar was also fantastic.
Let me just name a few front desk employees who truly made it an amazing experience, Hend, James, Joel, Krista, TJ, Brian, and Henry. They all were so friendly and greeted me with a smile every morning and night.Shout out to Augustine and Vimal as well! And the whole rest of the team at shashi. 1000% would stay again. Yolo!
Excellent Accommodation
Went to a concert at Shoreline and wanted something within walking distance. So glad we stayed here! Excellent accommodation, friendly staff, great bar. The signature scent of soaps/ shampoo left my husband wishing he could find it for purchase. The bed was super comfy and I need to find comparable towels and robe for home. We felt quite spoiled by the accommodation. The room was small, but perfectly set up, so it didn't feel tight. Look forward to coming here again!

Everyone was super friendly and polite. Went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect and that I had everything I needed. Also, they went in-depth on the properties amenities (saunas, gym, meeting rooms). The parking garage has multiple ev charging stations as well which was perfect! Didn’t have time to chill by the pool with my quick 36 hours business trip, but I’ll be sure to book longer next time I’m in town. Perfect location to relax after a day of meetings.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Service!
I really enjoyed my stay. It’s not far from the airport and it is a beautiful hotel. Very clean and the staff are great! Checking in and out was very pleasant. I visit San Jose for work, and this will now be my go-to hotel.

Amazingly clean and new hotel with the most incredibly friendly and helpful staff ever. Food in the restaurant was also very good! Being new there were outlets everywhere which is so appreciated for business travel. Great running nearby as well!
Be the first to ReplyGreat staff, and style.
I was in town for a house hunting trip with my whole family (My wife and I and our four kids). I didn't think it was exactly a family hotel but it was located close to work and my brother in laws home so I chose it anyway just for the convenience. They really went out of their way to make me and my family feel comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the style and just overall feel of the place was leagues better than the 5 star hotel we stayed in later in the week. A great experience overall

The nature of the neighborhood is small and quiet and Google may be the largest employer in the area? As such, the town and hotel restaurant shuts down fairly early and w/o a way into larger cities, the traveler is not left w/many eating options. That said, it's clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is delicious and exceeded expectations.
