Biggums in the front denied our entire party entry even though we had a reservation and had confirmed multiple times before showing up.

This bar seemed like a cool place, but what made it THEE spot to be at was the lovely bartender Andrés! The drinks he made were DELICIOUS and truly made the experience worthwhile with his immaculate vibes (honestly someone give him a raise!). A must visit-- 10/10!!!

Nothing really worked but I give 3 stars bc some of the products have to have a reason behind their medicinal values used by tribal people and lost civilizations. I'm batting a zero as far as products here working. The store help during weekends is a zero as well. Selection a 5.

This hidden gem boasts a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of a '70s grandparents' basement, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. The star here is undoubtedly the delicious oysters, offering a culinary experience that pairs perfectly with the charming retro vibes. A four-star rating reflects the distinctive charm and tasty delights found in this underground bar.

The host at the door was incredibly kind and helpful; they enabled us to change a Resy from 2 to 3 people and settled us at the bar to await a friend. Most everything thereafter was just middling to disappointing though. Drinks at bar (Manhattan, gin and tonic) were average at best. Our friend arrived and we got seated and waited, and waited, and waited... service just brutal, about 15 minute wait to be acknowledged and order drinks, and an hour before food arrived (and we had a show at Bowery to get to). Would have totally ordered another round of drinks if the server appeared at any time after we ordered dinner (the person who delivered dishes couldn't take order), but that didn't happen until we were there 90 minutes and feeling late for show. Insofar as the food, the Brussels sprouts appetizer was a highlight--tasty in a rice wine sauce. And my baby gem Caesar had good flavor, but they forgot the optional anchovies which I requested be included. My companions got burgers which were fine if unremarkable. Fries were undercooked--oh, and they dropped quite a few delivering one burger--they were apologetic and said they'd bring us an extra side, but that never materialized. I know places can be understaffed or have a tough day but that didn't seem to be the case or, if so, wasn't communicated to us--just felt like cool, nonchalant apathy.

The Flower Shop is a hidden gem in the city, known for its fantastic kickback vibes. At night, the downstairs area transforms into a lively spot with a great bar and even a pool table, making it perfect start for a fun night out with friends. The service is friendly and the specialty cocktails are a highlight. Whether you're looking for a relaxing evening or a lively night out, The Flower Shop delivers both with style and flair.
Be the first to ReplyA Lower East Side staple.
Unmatched ambience, stellar staff, unbeatable food. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing view Guy bartenders were nice Sadly being moved around to sit in the burning sun Because we didn't order with her at the tables was quite annoying and ruined the experience. Plus she was just there eating the decorative oranges in front of people ..
Be the first to ReplyI cannot recommend Kurt and the Flower Shop Enough.
His genuine friendliness and desire to go above and beyond truly made my night in New York. Do yourself a favor and check out the Flower Shop, you won't be disappointed by the views or the service.

Yes. Go here. Cool space and great drinks and management. We live in NYC and enjoy this place a lot

My friend and I sat at the window which was a little drafty but not too bad. I love that they had a window seat we could people watch and chat over happy hour drinks. The happy hour wine was $10 per glass but the beers were $5. This place has a great low light and moody ambiance. The staff was nice but it was hard to track down our waiter sometimes. Definitely would recommend as it was a great place for drinks with friends or a date.

Their security told me he was going to "break my jaw" because his hand got stuck in the door when I opened it. Gross behavior, destroyed the vibe. Don't go here.
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is SO GOOD I was so surprised.
I loved the Brussels sprouts and the pasta. My friend got the salmon and loved it. After eating we went downstairs to the free photo booth and had so much fun, played pool, etc. I really like it here. Service is great as well.

My friend wanted to treat us to this place and at first I was a little reluctant as it seemed kind of divey but I'm glad I came. During happy hour the oysters were $1.50 each which was a wonderful deal. I ended up ordering the maitake mushroom rigatoni which was really delicious. It had cherry tomatoes and basil. The cherry tomatoes were really sweet and juicy. The pasta was full of flavor and I liked that there was already chili flakes and cheese ontop. Theres a cute little bar in the basement floor which was so cute! It literally looked like someones basement with a bunch of couches, a pool table, and a photobooth. It had a really cute charm to it! I'm even kind of reluctant to give a good review because maybe this is a place to gatekeep lol
Be the first to ReplyWhen you step into the Flower Shop, you feel transported
When you step into the Flower Shop, you feel transported back to an 70-80s diner. Snag a burger and fries, drink a few martinis, then stumble downstairs into the much more clubby atmosphere. It's got all the makings for a fun (and possibly rowdy) night out in Manhattan.

It was my first time coming to this spot, my friend and I needed somewhere chill to sit and grab a bite. The place had a very good atmosphere and was super cute and cozy. Our server Joseph really made our experience even better as he was very attentive, courteous, and gave the best spot on suggestions for our indecisive selves when it came to food. Big big thank you to him Food, drinks, and service were on point; definitely will be back asap

70s themed bar with a fun basement to hang out, play pool, order some food and drinks, and watch Master of the Universe on repeat. They have a decent happy hour and can get pretty crowded afterward.

I seriously wanted to like this venue but the manager was extremely arrogant in the way she was treating a group of Party goer's.The place only has 1 positive factor and that's the Doorman in the front. However the downstairs security was lurking at everyone and had a menace vibe.Bartenders and wait staff really didn't want to be bothered when we wanted to orderThe Vibes are a wanna be exclusive venue without the charm and substance. This staff must have learned a lesson in how not to be customer service oriented from the management here. There are plenty of other places to go to where the establishment wants your money and knows how to treat potential clientle
Be the first to ReplyLove this place.
Went here for a birthday meet up. Fried chicken sandwich and the pink moon oysters ftw. The host and service was welcoming and attentive. Downstairs is a different vibe too which was fun! We'll def be back. Thank you!

I was really looking forward to see this place but I got disappointed very much! Service incredibly slow tables are too close to each other music was horrible and very loud I expected more potential than that, so I gave 3 stars because the only good thing is the burger. So sad .
Be the first to ReplyRealllllllly cute spot.
I've been seeing this place all over ig so I had to give it a go and decided to do so on my bday! I went with a couple of my friends and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is super young and hip but not like Hotel Chantelle or DL. This crowd seemed cool but not annoying. But it was pretty loud and hectic since half the room was dining and half the room was crowding around the bar. But, cool nevertheless. The food took me by surprise. I thought since this place is cool and hip the food would be alright and you mostly go for the ambiance. However I was shocked that it was pretty good! It wasn't over the top and it definitely wasn't just "bar food". I will say it was a tad bit salty but again, can't complain. We had the spaghetti, burger, fish & chips, and the artichoke?spinach? dip. All pretty impressive. I was scared that the food would take forever to come out since it was so hectic and busy but the workers kept it moving!!! Hats off!The drinks were REALLY strong. Again, no complaints. Pretty standard otherwise. Cute vibes, crowd and food! Would definitely revisit.

Happy hour prices here are phenomenal if you want beer/wine and some shared plates!Everything we had was super yummy ... especially the wings... we had to get another order.Excited there is outdoor seating too to enjoy for the spring and summer!

Love this place - it's big but cozy with the perfect atmosphere. It feels like you're drinking in some funky ski lodge from a happier time. Friendly staff, great drinks at reasonable (by NYC standards) prices, and even though I mostly use it as a bar the food is good too. Love the fried chicken. Gets pretty busy on weekends though, so if you want to beat the lines you may want to arrive a little early.
Be the first to ReplyCozy spot.
The upstairs has seating with a bar. They have so many drink options at a pretty affordable price. Happy hour weekdays from the usual 5pm to 7pm. The artichoke dip and impossible burger with fries are great food options. I really loved the artichoke dip and the bread it comes with is so good. Downstairs they have a pool table and other things so plenty to do here.
Be the first to ReplyReally cool vibe and decor.
The food was all delicious (my friend and I ordered the spinach/artichoke dip, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower steak). We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed all of it. The basement is also a really fun spot to hangout. Definitely worth a try for a chill night out.
