Everything about this hotel is 5 stars.
But I'm giving them 2 simply because they don't serve Heinz Ketchup use cheaper Brand and use UHT Boxed Milk. They should be ashamed of themselves. Save few dollars get this review. 38.00 SGD wagyu burger and cheap ketchup for fries , also fries kinda tasteless. Need better potato. Need to change.
Be the first to ReplyWe stayed at the hotel twice in January.
Both times we had issues with service. On our first visit, we waited over an hour for our luggage to be delivered to the room, before finally calling the front desk and asking if we could just come down and get our luggage. When you have been flying for almost 32 hours, we could not shower and change clothes because we did not have our suitcases. On our return trip, we arrived at 1:30 pm, prior to checkin. We were told that they were cleaning our room. After waiting until 3:00, we went back to the front desk, and were told that the room was still being cleaned. I asked if I could get another room that was clean, and was refused (the hotel was not sold out). By 3:30, I asked to speak to a manager, and was told none were available. At 3:45, I asked were the manager was located and said I would go to him. Only then was a room suddenly available. The Fullerton is definitely a beautiful old hotel, but it is starting to feel "tired". Great ambiance, but either understaffed, or poorly managed. Too many other fine hotels available in Singapore to stay here again.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely loved this old, charming hotel.
Wonderful service from everyone. Rooms are updated and beautiful. Close to everything!

Simply put this is the most spectacular hotel in which I ever stayed. The initial impression upon arrival is the extreme immensity and beauty of the interior. The service is impeccable as it is everywhere in this city. Everything is state of the art and is a joy for all the senses. (One night there was even a choir of Christmas music in that lobby). This place is not cheap and I half expected James Bond to emerge from its interior (especially after seeing an Aston Martin parked outdoors) Definately a different kind of living that was my portal to my new favorite city!

National Day afternoon tea set in one of the most historic hotels on this sunny island (let's talk colonial British post office turned imperial Japanese military HQ turned 5 star hotel)! My friends and I probably won't be going for afternoon tea as a group again any time soon but I'd have the scones at The Courtyard any day, even from 13,000km away! These scones were perfectly buttery and absolutely lived up to its hype. We also loved the tandoori chicken tartlets. Plus points for free flow teas from a comprehensive TWG tea selection and replenishable savories! Additional plus points if you're looking for neoclassical architectural ambiance in Asia -- we love being nerdy about history and spaces

This hotel is gorgeous, and while it's huge, I thought it still kept a nice intimate feel because there weren't tons of guests constantly walking about. My husband and I made a reservation at SignatuReserve bar, and the setting was so nice. Dim lighting, great drinks, comfy couch seating. The only negative was that we ordered some food with our drinks we never received. It wasn't a big deal, so we didn't follow up on the order, and we didn't get charged for them, so it was ok.

Such a late review but finally getting to it! From my experience Dec 2019. This hotel is on the smaller scale but upscale in a classic sense which we very much appreciated in comparison to Marina Bay Sands. The concierge was very friendly at check in and even though we arrived a few hours earlier, they checked us in, took our luggage and called us when our room was ready. So we had time to walk less than a mile to riverside outdoor restaurants, bars and convenient stores. This location is quite ideal but I wouldn't recommend eating at these riverside places because we got a tourist trap vibe but out of convenience, we ate crab at one of these locations and it was just OK. Nothing to brag about. We go back in to the hotel with it's beautiful ambience and head to our room that was very reminiscent of a Ritz room fully equipped with a Nespresso Single Machine that my caffeine addicted self truly appreciated versus the instant coffee available at other hotels. The room we had with a king size bed was comfortable and down pillows to add to our peaceful slumber. The service is exactly what one would expect from a high end hotel. Now I'm not sure how much has changed since our visit here, but I trust that they haven't changed their service or attentiveness since then. That's how much we were impressed with the people and rooms here. Arriving during the holidays, we had all the lovely Christmas decor and lighting that added warmth to this hotel. We will definitely come back if we get a chance to.

We attended a wedding here and did not actually stay as a guest at the hotel so I will only be eating the food at the wedding. However the hotel itself is very grand and beautiful and a great place for a wedding as there are lots of photo opportunities. The food: served as a traditional 10 course meal starting with a cold appetizer plate, a soup and lots of veggies and protein. Food is what you would expect from a banquet style wedding. The service: i had never been to a wedding in Asia before and the difference in service is that when they bring the food they actually plate it for you directly onto your plate, preportioned, even though the dish itself is plated as a family style. This was new to me however I didn't mind.

The hotel is in a great location and we had a suite with an outstanding view. The breakfast was superb.Buuuut: the HVAC system in the (very expensive) suite we booked did not work. Neither did the TV, in either room. They sent up engineering right away, who was able to fix the TV. However, the heat/cold was just not fixable. We spent 3 of our 4 days freezing. The manager realized engineering was unable to fix it and so had to call in an outside contractor. The last straw was being stuck in an elevator for 20 minutes. Because the hotel's staff was unable to fix the HVAC system, the hotel moved us to another suite, one that was less roomy and with a less stellar view. They then charged us full price, rack rate, for the lesser suite. We met with a manager ((there are many at this hotel) and they offered to comp us breakfast and airport transfer, both of which were already included in our stay. We again discussed with a manager, who offered us 10% off at the time or a discount if when we next returned to the hotel. We have friends in Singapore, so took the future discount. The manager promised to send us an e-mail.We have not, of course heard from the hotel. Nor has a follow-up e-mail from me been answered. The Fullerton is selling a level of luxury and service that simply is not borne out by their actions. It is top heavy with mid-managers who have no say, and it will grab -and hold - as much $$ as possible. There are much, much better run hotels in Singapore in equally nice locations. Try those first.

Top notch! This hotel is absolutely stunning, it offers first class service, and is in the heart of Singapore. I had my wedding here this year and they made my big day a breeze to plan from overseas! Depending on what your event needs are, they have several beautiful spaces around the hotel available to cater to your party. We picked the Jade restaurant since it's an intimate space with wheelchair access on the first floor, and the food and service was amazing. I felt so incredibly special and taken care of, and all my guests felt truly welcome.
Be the first to ReplyGreat stay, excellent service and facilities.
As part of our whirlwind Asia tour this was part deux of our SGP layover and decided to semi "splurge" in this 5-star establishment. It might not be Raffles or Sands but we couldn't be happier with the entire experience.Room: 10/10, we booked the cheapest standard queen bed room but the check-in gentleman (Ryan?) upgraded us to a larger king-size bed room (quay room?) with a partial quay view. The room was clearly recently renovated with large bath tub, separate shower, and separate toilet room featuring a Japanese type intelligent toilet that automatically lifts the seat cover when you walk near it, along with all the standard warming/bidet/drying functions. The king size bed and pillows were super comfy, large screen TV, lots of outlets everywhere that did not require any converters to recharge your electronic goods, water boiler and coffee makers that comes with complimentary TWG tea bags and Keurig cups, along with fancy coffee and tea cups. Lots of closet space in the hallway, 2 sets of bath robes for us to wear to the swimming pool, and a safe to keep your important items.Facilities: 8/10, combination of classic elegance and modern amenities. Love the typical British style spacious courtyard in the ground floor that serves as relaxation lounge/café/high tea/restaurant. There are multiple fine dining establishments there. We saw a Chines wedding in the Jade restaurant, we had an amazing sunday Champaign Brunch experience in the Town restaurant. It was not cheap ($135 SGD per diner without champaign excluding surcharge and tax and tips) but we enjoyed the great food and the festive atmosphere. We didn't get a chance to try the roof-top restaurant or the Post Bar, but got a chance to skinny dip in the pool on the 2nd floor, it was not the infinity pool at the Sands but it had a respectable view of the Quay and the street below. Location: 9/10, very convenient, you are literally 5 min walk from the MRT exit, right across the street from the Merlion Park, most places of interests were no more than $10 SGD taxi or "Grab" ride away from the hotel. Value: 9/10, initially we paid roughtly $250 USD for the standard queen bed room but upgraded to a larger more comfy renovated king bed room, the value of which probably $350 or more given it was on a weekend. Overall our stay in Fullerton was extremely satisfying and exceeded our expectations, would def return on our next SGP visit.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent.
Excellent. Excellent. From the lavish red carpet welcoming you in the front entrance to the divine conditioner and shampoo they feature, the Fullerton is the epitome of classic luxury and opulence.Without a doubt their bathroom amenities are the best I've ever seen and smelt. Their scent was so excellent I even decided to search up the brand and order some for myself.Located right next to the waterfront, the Fullerton offers a premiere view of the Marina Bay Sands. Complimentary drink coupons only add to happiness levels.Be awe-inspired by the fine marble and other raw materials that comprise the architecture of the building and take a moment to appreciate the meticulous choice of furniture and style choices in the room and entire premises.Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.I shall be back with great vengeance.

I'm a HISTORY NUT, so staying here a month ago was a MUST for my parents visiting me in Asia. We decided to take a short trip to Singapore. It was not only fun but one that will always stay with me forever. The Fullerton Hotel is in the middle of 99% of most tourist locations I wanted to visit. But lets focus on this hotel. The History in this building, and if the walls could talk... What would it tell you? From the SEIGE of power to form a new country, to serving as a Post Office. This place will not disappoint you for probably any reason. The customer service here is TOP NOTCH! I could have swear every employees here has earned their concierge keys. no JOKE. It's great to have people treat you with respect because they Care, and not because they have to. Well it is there job to provide that service, but when you go over THE TOP, its will not be over looked. This hotel is across the street to the Marina Sands Bay, Merlion, any probably the best view for any Starbucks I've very been too. If you look the opposite direction, it's tourist central. The room we got was a suite, Wasn't over the top but just perfect. I think anyone that decides to stay here should as for a tour of the hotel, you won't regret that hour tour.
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel is first class all the way.
The rooms are comfortable, with a Nespresso machine and TWG tea. You are welcomed with complimentary Merlion cocktails, which were delicious. The location is perfect on Boat Quay, so you can walk to all of the restaurants along the water. The hotel is a Colonial building which was once a post office! It is stunning. Highly recommended. And the breakfast buffet is extensive and very good.
Be the first to ReplyThe Fullerton Hotel was fantastic.
I loved the fact that the building was a governmental building that was repurposed. It was also a post office at one point. I found the atmosphere, service, and decor to be pretty elegant. Things were fancy but not over-the-top showy. Our room was (surprisingly) spacious and very nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the in-room safe. The ground floor was huge and featured several eating places and a gift shop. If you wanted to be outdoors, there are two side doors that opened up to a quaint outdoor area. In the center of the building was a round staircase that led downstairs where there was a koi pool. I loved that.We had the buffet breakfast, and I was impressed by the food choices and quality. They even had hot noodle soup and porridge! Plus, there were plenty of western breakfast foods alongside Asian ones. I highly recommend this hotel.
Be the first to ReplyI have zero complaints about my stay here, so I guess that
I have zero complaints about my stay here, so I guess that means 5 stars. In Singapore, I've stayed here and Marina Bay Sands. I would consider staying here again, but I wouldn't rule out other hotels. I would also consider the other Fullerton (Fullerton Bay), which has a newer, modern feel. The exterior of the building is beautiful, impressive, and historic. When you're pulling up to arrive, it's like, wow. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. I was so tired after a very long flight, and check-in was quick and seamless. Our room was very spacious. The bathroom was also spacious and perfect. I loved that the toilet had the heated seat and water jet cleaning functions. I didn't hear any noise from the hall or surrounding rooms while we were in our room at any time during our stay. The location is excellent, especially if you're visiting for fun. It is within walking distance of a lot of the sights. It is probably the best hotel if you want to be close to non-Marina Bay Sands attractions like the Merlion, the National Gallery, etc. If you're commuting via automobile, the traffic can slightly slow you down if you're trying to get somewhere fast and it is peak commuting hours. But it definitely could be worse and wasn't a significant issue. One nice thing was that there was an IPhone or IPad (I don't remember which one) that you could take with you, so that you always had wifi. The pool is lovely. It wasn't *too* busy, but if could be a challenge getting the perfect lounge chair depending on the time of day. It has a nice ambiance and it overlooks the water, so you can watch boats go by. This was one of my favorite features of the hotel. This is a historic building that wasn't always a hotel. I love that the building has history, and they provide a book in your room where you can read about it. However, as a result, not all of the rooms have natural light. So if you need lots of natural light in your room, that could be an issue depending on your room. It actually worked for me. The only time that I was in the room was to sleep, so I slept very soundly (regardless of the hour) for my stay. I was also surprised that the restaurants were actually legit and good. Sometimes hotel restaurants are kind of meh, but I was surprised. So if you're tired and don't want to go far for food, there are great options at the hotel. This is a great hotel. Especially if you're into the colonial, historic thing.
