TERRIBLE! OVERPRICED FOOD AND THE CHEESE IS SICKENING, stay away from this bland food if you can. character limit limit
Be the first to ReplyAVOID AT ALL COSTS
Don't be fooled by the photos on the website - avoid this place at all costs. Ordered burritos at £11 and a juice for £7(?!), waited 40 minutes despite being the only people in there eating food (used the disgusting toilet in the interim, which also happens to be next door to the cupboard where the food is prepared in the basement) only to be served tiny wraps not fit for the borrowers, accompanied by a side salad of blackened lettuce... Staff seem annoyed to have you in there and weren't apologetic about the wait at all. Never again.
Be the first to ReplyCome for the coffee not their service
We visit at a Monday and got a delicious blueberry muffin, a sad almond croissant that tasted like it were made yesterday, a very delicious aciabowl and great coffee. The service was so rude and lacking of quality/energy. And it was very expensive 49£ for 3 acaibowls, 3 coffees, 1 muffin and 1 almond croissant
Be the first to ReplyCold bread and no tea
Shambolic is what comes to mind when you receive a cold slice of bread that is passed off as avocado toast and not even enough chilli flakes to get warmed up on a cold winters day. After that disappointment I was met again by the passionless bar maid telling me there would be no tea as the coffee machine has broken down. When asked if she had a kettle she was stumped by my solution. I now sit here in this cold, emotionless hole..without.my cup of tea. My fiancés Açai bowl was good though.
Be the first to ReplyAvo-toast with the most!
What a fabulous little place! I am staying locally for business, but managed to steal a late breakfast with my partner, here. The food was delicious and very quick to arrive! Staff were lovely and friendly and the vibe was top notch! I didn’t get a snap of my avo-toast with smoked salmon but it was 5* DELISH! I plan to make it my go to spot for breakfast /lunches whilst I am in the local area!
Be the first to ReplyCold food, took ages, overpriced
The staff were nice and friendly, but we ordered a breakfast crosssint with egg, cheese, ham and pesto. It took 20-25 minutes, it was heated up as the cheese was melted and left to go cold before being brought to us. It was not tasty, and cost 6 quid per croissant. Then with 2 coffees and an orange juice this was 24 quid for an unsatisfactory breakfast. Maybe the other meals were better but we won’t return unfortunately.
Be the first to ReplyVery bad food
It used be my favourite restaurant with very tasty and fresh food. Unfortunately it went downhill. It wasn’t great last couple of times I have been there but today it was just horrible. They were serving only takeaway because they didn’t have water. I got main bowl. It wasn’t possible to eat. Instead of brown rice they put white which was massively undercooked, basically almost raw rice. It was topped with burnt vegetables and tofu tasted sour, not fresh and was icy cold. That was really upsetting, they charged me for that dish 12.50! I will never go back there!

This has been in decline for a while. Totally tasteless food hiding behind very high prices. A simple request for well done poached eggs was completely ignored. When sent back I was told I could have cold hard boiled eggs instead.
Be the first to ReplyDont ask for ice in your water
We had a couple of overpriced salads which cost us £25. We asked for a couple of glasses of water with some ice because the water was warm , they told us they had no ice which was plainly a lie as they were putting ice in the £6 smoothies .
When we complained about no ice they really couldn't care less.
I would really give this place a miss
Bland
Bland salad, mostly old leaves. Very few bits of butternut squash. No menu available which would have speeded up ordering. Non customers sat on outdoor seating and weren't told to move. This place used to be great. Not any more.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced and too watery
A friend was stopping by and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I asked her to grab me the Coco butter juice. A £6 drink that tasted like it was made by a 3 year old. Never again
Be the first to ReplyNice coffee......
Nice coffee, regular size on the small side, not the choice of gluten free pastries and cakes we expected, friendly service.
Be the first to ReplyZero customer service care
The staff was unwelcome did not make the coffee the way I want to, not fresh pastery and expensive too.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing breakfast!
Breakfast at the Good Life Eatery was the highlight of my trip to London! If you have dietary requirements like dairy-free or gluten-free, this is the place to eat! Ordered avocado toast, açai bowl and almond waffles - best breakfast ever! I would definitely eat there again and again! It’s a bit pricey, but I don’t mind paying more for great food!
Be the first to ReplyFood is bland and overpriced - Avoid
The food here is overpriced and bland. Ordered a jerk chicken burrito and jerk chicken food bowl - both were tasteless and sadly we had to throw away and purchase lunch elsewhere. Hardly a sustainable option when the food is this bad.
Thought we’d support a small local business on at John’s word high St instead of going to one of the larger chains. Big mistake! Avoid this establishment.
Quite simply, avoid.
Ridiculous prices for the amount of food you get. The small bites are bland and extortionate. Save your money call in a supermarket and get a pot noodle and some hummus.
