I have enjoyed many lunches and dinners here, this is why I am giving it a five star review. But now let's talk about my most recent experience: Zero stars!!The server approached and greeted us, immediately telling us all about how pregnant she is, how tired she is, how active her baby is, that it's a boy...etc This was my first indication that I wasn't going to enjoy my service. I don't know if she thought this would get her a pity tip, or if she genuinely thinks it acceptable to meet people/guests and put all of her problems on to them. This type of conversation continued off and on throughout the meal. To say that we were completely put off was a vast understatement. I do not come to eat so that I can be someone else's therapist. I came to eat with the person I wanted to converse with, and all we could talk about was how much our server annoyed us. One of the food runners although very nice, spoke to us in such a casual way it was as if we were at a fast food restaurant. The second food runner who delivered our meals was much better, generously asking what else was needed. We asked him to ask our server for a refill on a beverage, she came back with it immediately and said, "shiiiiit I was like oh man how long was he waiting." Now I personally don't understand what that means, but it was incredibly inappropriate and I don't understand why it was needed at my table. It seemed as if there was no manager or adult presence in the restaurant. To be honest, the whole experience was relatively lack luster from beginning to end. My shrimp was cold by the time the sauce I had originally ordered made it to the table. But it was good quality food and I enjoyed it enough. Cold food is a big pet peeve of mine though, and I'm pretty sure everyone would agree with me there.The restaurant floors were covered in trash and food remnants. It looked as if a party of 50 kids had just left. Maybe that's what happened??!! And I wouldn't care typically, but it added to the dissatisfying experience. On past visits I ALWAYS saw the owner/chef, who made sure to check in on each table, not an easy thing to do when the restaurant is busy. This is what made my experience so shocking and disappointing. I had much higher expectations of my one night out for dinner with my fiancé.

We were looking for a lunch place, and we fell upon this restaurant as we were driving through town. The server was absolutely wonderful, super friendly and attentive, and dressed in Halloween attire during our visit as it was right before Halloween. As always, there was complementary house, bread with olive oil, and Parmesan cheese, which is a must for any Italian restaurant. After ordering our food, I was a little bit disappointed with my chicken marsala. The food itself just didn't seem to have that higher quality sit down restaurant feel. I can't say that it was bad or exceptionally good. It was pretty average for the price paid otherwise make up your own opinion when you go visit and see what you think.

Sub par Italian food, have eaten there about 2-3 times on location and ordered take out once. Take out service was disappointing. Missing food that supposed to be included in the order placed. When mentioned the manager said sorry, if you want it, it will be an extra charge. Stay home and make spaghetti or a frozen pizza if your hungry for Italian food, you'll be more satisfied with that food and your own service than the food and customer service from the Italian Grille.

So far in 2 visits a friend and I have enjoyed everything we have tried. She is particularly excited about the large wine pours. I've had pasta and pizza, both were above average. The menu brags about their wings so that will be the next attempt. Oh and the bread served with dinner is awesome!!!!!! It's not quite the ambiance that keeps you racing back as it is located in a strip mall and the bar area (our preference) has no real identity. I'd bet everything on the menu is worth your trip.

Good food, good service & the atmosphere is nice.The menu is well balanced, portion size is a bit much at dinner time, My kids and I always need a take out box. Free bread & olive oil with spices. Altho, they changed the olive oil - not as good as the old one.

We ate here twice in a week because the food is that good. Pizza to die for. The portions were huge, the service spectacular and the atmosphere was great. Nan and Bob (the owners) waited on us and they know how to run a first rate restaurant.

We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress, and the menu was uniquely pleasant. It’s an odd thing to comment about the menu with such superlatives but it was seriously well designed, and I would think it was apparently brand new… it was just very clean and attractive. The food… is great! Large portions, crafted with care. The place is owner-operated and we were very happy to meet the owner during our meal. We sampled various items and our favorite was the Bruschetta appetizer (easily a full dinner for a hungry vegetarian or a tomato lover… and this was the best I’ve ever had!). We also enjoyed the “adult” Mac & Cheese, the house-breaded chicken strips (one order is easily a dinner for two), and the Salmon was very good. At our next visit, we’ll skip the pizzas and we do not recommend the mashed potatoes. But we will certainly be back! Thanks for a great evening with the family.

I really enjoy this place! Their minestrone soup is THE freshest BEST soup I have had with FRESH cut veggies (and it is vegan!) I love coming here because I can have a salad, soup, and a side of pasta with marinara (and wine!) Service is always good.Manager usually comes out and says hi.Very clean.This is my go-to place in Auburn.

I have been to the Italian Grille several times and I love their food. However this time the service is what forces me to give it one star. I was the second person in the restaurant when it opened and I ordered a side salad and a bowl of soup. An hour later I got my salad but no soup. When I asked the waitress about it her excuse was they were extremely busy and something happened to their printer and their orders. I pointed out to her though that everyone around me who came in later than I did already had their food and were ready to pay their bills. I asked for the manager and she came back and explained that he was too busy to talk to me that she should just make it right. Her idea of making it right was to offer me a piece of cheesecake. Really? She did however take the soup off of my bill and I paid for the salad. An hour and 15 minutes later I walked out of there very unsatisfied. I thought about inviting friends with me to experience this restaurant but now I'm thinking twice about it. I think I will stick with Salvatori's in Fort Wayne

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
