Lovely. Best service
Had a lovely breakfast at the Ivy London Bridge. The service was exemplary. Thank you Mihaela for making our breakfast special.

The staff were very courteous & the food very nice. Pity about the mice trotting around the floor! Shocking! How is this restaurant allowed to be open? Senior staff were aware of the issue.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced food and drink and very poor service at this particular branch
Food ok but standards slipping. Service poor for general cost. We ate at the Ivy in Guildford 18 months ago and loved it. Had high hopes for tonight but these quickly evaporated. The starters (scallops). Weโre a fraction of the size in 2021 and volume made up with puff pastry. Fish n chips fine as was chocolate bomb (although waiter just chucked warm sauce in). Overall biggest disappointment was waiter who was dreadful. Wasnโt at all courteous, made no eye contact, was clearly too busy elsewhere and tried his best to completely misunderstand our order. I wasnโt at all prepared to pay the auto-applied 13.5% but misses didnโt want it make a fuss. I would have gone with 2%

Booked prior to our arrival but arrived an hour early. No problem. Spent a while at the cocktail bar. Asked for a table with a view of the Tower Bridge. No problem. Excellent meals and cocktails. Staff were very good, pleasant and accommodating. THANX Geoff n Jill
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service from Todor
We had booked for Cream Teas in celebration of my sisterโs 50th & my nieceโs 18th birthdays. However after a River Thames lunch cruise we really could not eat anything. Todor, our waiter along with the manager were very understanding and allowed us to just have tea & coffee and brought out a cake for my nieceโs birthday! Kindness abounded!
Be the first to ReplyWe just love this place.
Last week we visited this restaurant again after our great experience the month before. Once again we had a very nice evening thanks to the excellent food and staff at this place. This time we even had a better seat at the window looking at tower bridge. Hats off to the very professional and friendly staff. Keep up the good work and weโll definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyAfternoon Tea
At first things were going terribly wrong for our group of seven for Afternoon Tea on Friday 24/02/23. Unknown to us half of our order had gone to the wrong table. This initially blighted our experience because when we asked for our full order the head waiter abruptly told us we would have to pay extra. We were not happy and raised the issue again. However, Maria the adorable Polish waitress saved the day. First she apologised as she explained what had happened to our order. When the rest of the order arrived, she explained what each item was and how we should eat them. We all felt completely at ease by her warmth and professionalism. Nothing was too much for her. We appreciate that itโs a tough role and mistakes do happen but rectifying them with courtesy is essential. The sandwiches and cakes were absolutely delicious and good value. But it was Mariaโs enthusiasm that made our day.
Be the first to ReplySon's Birthday Celebration
I booked the Ivy for my son's 15th Birthday 18/2/2023 Booked it on line and mentioned it was my son's birthday and told a member of staff but the birthday was never acknowledged. Food is always nice. My sons ordered the squid and Fish and Chips. We were asked if we wanted the food together. Main was received first and 10mins later the starter. Mains were received at different times. I was very disappointed, as it was a special occasion. Only very few squids in one of the starters.
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed!
I booked two weeks in advance and pre ordered a glass of champagne and complimentary birthday chocolate plaque as it was my mums birthday. Upon arrival we were taken to the bar area as our table wasnโt quiet ready which was fine. However, we were then greeted with the chocolate plaque at the bar when having drinks. Iโm sure we should have been greeted with the chocolate plaque after our food not before? Thought the communication between staff members should have been a lot better here! Like I said before I ordered champagne for my mum earlier in the week and even sent a remind email two days ago and it was agreed weโd have this when seated. Did we? No. We didnโt receive any champagne. We then ordered a bottle of wine. It never came. We have food and it still never came. I was then given the bill with champagne on, the birthday plaque and also service charge. I was very disappointed to be give a bill with all of this on when it never happened. I chose The Ivy especially for the birthday gestures as my mum is a single mum to 3 children and hasnโt had an easy life. So to not be given the full expectations was hugely disappointing. Although, despite the upset a lovely gentle who was the general manager called Callum was very kind and I will give credit to him. However, I wonโt be returning. Hugely disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyEva made our evening!
Me and my sister went for a dinner at this restaurant the other night and had a really crappy day. After one night at this restaurant everything changed. The receptionists were helpful and everything looked aesthetically pleasing, but our waitress Eva was super nice to us. She made us laugh, gave us great recommendations and cleaned up our plates without needing to wave her down. The bill was manageable and we felt very welcome. Thank you Eva!

Booked for breakfast yesterday. Ordered food, I was given wrong order and had to wait 15 mins, by then all our party had finished their breakfast. Two rounds of toast orders that didnโt appear so had to ask again for it, another 10 minute wait! Cold toast no butter, jam or separate knife. Again had to ask for this! I never complain but this experience was terrible. Do not book , much nicer restaurants around !

One receptionist was rude we were a little early we asked to wait in bar but she said no room we came past the bar only 2 people she said go away come back at booking time. Food was good.

First advice is to book a table so you can be sure you will not be waiting. I have seen some reviews about waiting for a long time, they don't mention having a reservation so I am thinking this is the issue. This is a very high traffic area. The spread is beautiful and matches the omnibus and views. The prices are high so expect that but balance it out by taking your time enjoying the view, taking pictures, enjoying the dishes... We asked for a table by the window and marked our occasion as a birthday in our reservation and received a great table with a view and a beautiful little birthday treat!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing service
Pre-theatre meal for 4 people . We allowed 2 hours for dinner. We said we needed dessert to arrive promptly before ordering and were told it was no problem. 25 minutes later, we cancelled dessert and had to leave. Apparently it was then ready, but too late for us. It was disappointing that the apology was so half hearted and we were told that we hadnโt allowed enough time. At our previous visit to The Ivy , one personโs dessert failed to arrive. The rest of the meal was good, but we will hesitate to go there again.

A great locations a view of Tower Bridge and directly opposite traitors gate and the Tower of London. Friendly efficient staff. Chose from set menu. Salmon starter was really tasty. Main duck pasta dish was below average. Decided not to have pudding as pasta was very filling. Therefore missed out on birthday dessert that is usually a nice complimentary treat at the Ivy. Excellent cocktails. Definitely 5 stars for location staff and overall experience 2 stars for main. 5 stars for starter therefore 3 stars.

It was an amazing experience. I been in there with my wife for our 1st anniversary, their hospitality, service and food were incredible! I will go there regularly for upcoming days. Amazing service and foods! Salvadore was looking after our table, his personal behaviors and service was very professional and friendly. I am really glad to been in there. Thanks for everything! Highly recommend anyone for any special occasion or daily basis

Booked for Sunday breakfast. We were seated and then completely ignored for half an hour despite asking if someone might take our order after a 20 minute wait. We walked out and went to the lovely Caffe Paradiso on Courage Yard just 2 minutes away.
Be the first to ReplyDisrespectful service - Avoid this place!
I visited the Ivy at Tower Bridge for breakfast with a client and was astonished by the horrible service and rude staff. First of all, we waited for food for over an hour (and the restaurant was not even half full). Secondly, one of the waitresses serving our table (a tall lady with blond hair) was super rude. A culmination of rudeness was when she pushed a designer bag of my client (that stood on the floor next to the chair) with her foot to the side (without asking any of us if that's ok) - saying that is was in her way (!!!). Can you imagine my embarrassment in front of my client, as it was I who chose the venue?
We will definitely never be coming to this place (or any Ivy for that matter) again. And my recommendation to you is to avoid it at all cost, especially for business meetings.
Post theatre visit to Ivy Collection Tower Bridge
This is a convenient place to eat after a show at the Bridge Theatre and not too pricey. So far so good. But the white wine I ordered was a seriously dodgy semi-sweet semi-sparkling effort from France priced at ยฃ33/bottle. The food was clearly vac-picked and micro-waved. Service really not very good and the staff have this unfortunate tendency to address the whole table as โguysโ. This is the bland side of modern London.

Appalling - never know an Ivy to be so bad.
Not one seat was taken, but we we told we could not sit down for 30 minutes to enjoy the tea we had ordered .
The manager even suggested the โwe not licenced to serve drinksโ in that area.
It was a cup of tea for goodness sake !
If the hospitality trade is this inhospitable then what hope is there.
Very Poor Service
The service was appalling, we waited 45 mins for our first drink. 3 of us wanted lobster linguine but were told "finish". Friend had steak, wasn't aske dhow she wanted it cooked. They were scraping dirty plates right behind where i was sitting. I could go on. Really disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyCourgette Fritters
We had a lovely meal here yesterday.
The service from our lady server was excellent.
Only negative is that the food was not hot.
First time having courgette fritters and they were lovely.
My sister had steak tartare and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
My squid and prawns were well cooked.
I would recommend this place.
A pleasant relaxing lunch.
My Wife and I came in on the off chance they would have a table for us for Lunch and they did. I'd agree that service is not rapid, but once they do start on your table, then in our experience it then flows smoothly. I'd say this is not a place for a quick meal and that suits us fine. We had a very pleasant relaxing couple of hours chilling, wining and dining. Great ambience, lovely food and yes, we found the service to be excellent. Will most definitely return. As a note, we went to the Sky Garden the next day (great views) and much preferred The Ivy Tower Bridge.
