The personnel is rude
The personnel was very rude. We were party of 5, were within the 15 minutes grace period for our reservation and they told us that we couldn’t be seated. No further explanation and no options to accommodate us. It’s the first time I feel mistreated in restaurant of these type.

Definitely the best dinner during our visit to NY. Amazing Asian fusion and immaculate service. We will be back for sure next time we are in the city! Fab! 💋
Be the first to ReplyNoisy and very expensive
We were a party of 4 on Friday night. It’s an attractive place but the loud music ruined the ambiance. Service was great which was important because the menu needed explaining. Food is served when ready…which was extremely fast. We shared several dishes and the food and drinks were good but not worth the high price

Colin is the best waiter ever!!! You need to go to “The Lobster Club” The food is delicious, I’ve never ever had any thing better. Come here.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best restaurants in NYC!
The Lobster Club is a restaurant institution. It truly is in its own category of culinary excellence. This fine dining restaurant is a Japanese brasserie that never disappoints. The exquisite food, spectacular service, and intimate setting, all culminate to deliver an amazing experience. The entire menu is outstanding. From lobster dumplings to sushi rolls. The wasabi lobster is not to be missed. The wagyu truffle Sandos are an absolute must too! Everything can be shared family style if you choose. The bento boxes are great, quick, and easy. The lobster club lunch is 7 pieces of nagiri, and a lobster tempura hand roll. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. The restaurant is not cheap but for good reason. The A+ quality food made by top notch chefs, served by attentive knowledgeable staff, with superb service and experience, makes The Lobster Club one of the best restaurants in New York City. If you’re reading this and have not been, make a reservation and thank me later!
Be the first to ReplyStill great, after all these years
Let the haters hate, Lobster Club used to be my favorite business casual spot but me and my wife did many a meal here as well. Well it just reopened and it did not disappoint. The new items are fantastic (the wagyu sando is OUT of this world) but the ole favorites (wasabi lobster, lobster dumplings, spicy shrimp rice, tomahawk ribeye) are still exceptional. bravo lobster club, glad some things never changed even after the hellish year!
Be the first to ReplyGreat dinner experience!
We had a business/social dinner here and it was wonderful! The servers were informative, helpful and the staff was lovely. They were able to work around several allergies and suggested some Really great dishes. They went above and beyond to even do some things maybe not on the menu to ensure some of our more reserved eaters had a meal too. The food was innovative but not unapproachable. Loved it! And loved the atmosphere!

The service is very nice
The price is $$$$
Need reservation
The menu is ok
Try the coconut shrimp
They play great music.
I'm usually not that impressed with the music played in a restaurant, but here they had a perfect playlist with the right volume. It's a nicely trendy decorated restaurant. I received a friendly welcome, both at the door and at the table. The atmosphere upon entering was friendly and relaxed, and our waiter took all the time to explain the menu. I started my evening with a nice glass of Domaines Ott Rose, one of my favorites, and a beautiful chef's Selection of the sashimi. Afterward, we shared some main dishes, and each of them was very tasteful.

Get food and drinks and great service-actually very friendly staff- I was surprised. The only negative is that it is VERY expensive!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, lacking in dessert options
Went there for our anniversary dinner, and they gave us a sip of complimentary champagne. Lychee cocktail was good. We loved the wasabi lobster, spicy toro roll, and wagyu beef. They were out of the scallop roll we wanted, and the surf and turf roll was interesting but way too salty. Shrimp rice was nothing special. Okinawa cake was blah, the low point of the meal, but came out with a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate. Service was prompt (as requested) to get us out in time for our Broadway show. Prices were higher than any menu I saw online. I would go again for a meal but skip dessert!
Be the first to ReplyWe were disappointed with the portion size and price points of the food
The tuna appetizer was excellent, the pork rolls were excellent, the strip steak was excellent, the snapper entree was excellent, avoid the ice dessert,
all food was very tasty but
the price point and portion size left us gouged and hungry. The atmosphere was great with the 70's music and its a lovely setting. All at the table were shaking their heads at the small portion sizes of the food and the pricing was very high for the weight and size of the order. We will not return because we do not feel that this restaurant is worthy of a 2nd trip as the value involved is not worth the visit.
Great but...
Cool space, good food and vibe. 30 minutes late to seat us for our reservation. A wine list that was ridiculous considering the type of restaurant this is. The list was extensive and impressive but the starting price point was $85 plus. Most wines were in the $125-$2000 range. You might think you were at the French Laundry in NAPA! Service was also spotty with a few disappearing acts by our waiter. I would go again but they really need to get on their game to charge the prices they do.
