Good hotel
Nice hotel was convenient to everything and was very quiet. The staff was very nice and were always willing to help with anything. The room was clean and the pool area was great. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Thanks for a good stay.

The over all stay was very nice. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, pillows were nice, bedding was clean, and the AC worked well. The pool area was nice, but started filling up later in the evening. The lazy river was just right for a relaxing quick get away.

Fantastic hotel, pool and staff. Centrally located to all the area attractions and amusement parks. I had do a very late check in and add days to my stay and Anthony at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. Will definitely stay again the next time I visit the area.

Great people working. My room was beautiful, clean, smells like a new room. Stay in the tower for a great experience. I was traveling on business when the Hilton couldn't accommodate a Honors member I took a gamble. It was a great stay and better experience
Be the first to ReplyGreat, clean affordable hotel
The room was very clean along with the entire hotel. Beds were comfy. The lazy river is quite amazing also! The location was not bad either. Would definitely stay here again. The only improvement would be for the lazy river to open when the pool does and that the on-site restaurant/bar stay open later than 10pm.
Be the first to ReplyNice rooms, friendly staff, great value!
Excellent value and a nice, clean room! Anthony at the front desk was especially friendly and accommodating in getting us a room when it was a little early in the day. He upgraded us to a nice room so that we could avoid waiting for the type we originally reserved so we didn't have to wait and could enjoy our day.
Be the first to ReplyIs this really a hotel or a has been thought?
They don’t even have a restaurant I arrived at 8 o’clock on a Monday and there is no food to be be offered. I looked at the billboard they mentioned breakfast, but the whole entire restaurant is closed down on a Monday at 8:30. I don’t think there is even a real restaurant that exists.

Great hotel with a great staff. Everything was how I wanted it. Pool was great. The ice machine worked perfect. The beds were nicely done and very neat. The ac was great and the tv is huge and excellent. Plenty of room as well I really enjoyed my stayed.
Be the first to ReplyNot the Four Seasons, good value for price paid
This is a three star hotel, and our expectations were reasonable. First, the rooms are fine, beds are firm with pillow top comforters and great pillows, waters hot in the shower. Bathroom is tiny, but the room has an extra sink just outside of it. It's clearly an older hotel that's been refurbished. They have a poolside bar that's not much to look at, but the drinks are good and affordable. Be forewarned they add 18% gratuity automatically and forget to tell you. ;) The pool is NOT heated, but the hot tub is well heated and has powerful jets. The lazy river is short, but wonderful, kids and adults will love this, as we did.
Be the first to ReplyTERRIBLE. LEFT MY FAMILY IN AN UNSAFE SITUATION!!
I had booked a room for Saturday February 17th. I was staying in Orlando for the night and then traveling to St Augustine. I knew my flight was coming in late and called the hotel in advance to let them know I was going to be a late check-in. The response when I called on Friday was "We will be waiting for you." When I arrived Saturday night with my 15 year old daughter I was informed that they had sold my room to someone else and the hotel was sold out. There were 2 other groups in the lobby that were dealing with the same situation. I was told they refunded me but that would take 3-7 business days to receive. They gave me a list of 4 hotels to call. All of them were booked. The Daytona 500 was going on and there were no rooms available anywhere in Orlando. We had to have called at least 50 hotels. So options were to sleep in the car with my daughter or drive to St Augustine at 1:00am in the pouring rain. Neither of which seemed like a safe decision. I chose to make the drive. DO NOT BOOK a room here if you want to be guaranteed to have a bed to have a safe place to sleep with your family. I also called the hotel on Monday to talk to the manager and have heard nothing back. It is now Thursday. Unacceptable!

If you think this place is a good family vacation to stay the night. Please think again this place is the worst place to take you family do not believe the pictures and what they say to you. When you think that you pay one price for the night you stay and think that is it but when you arrive they up the price more for additional stuff . And they do not tell you that their is no hot water in the hole building if I could I would have them a zero star . Worst place ever

My sister and I were in Orlando last year and stayed at CASINO ROYALE (amazing hotel). That hotel was booked so we looked for a hotel comparable to that. Red Lion boasted a lazy river, a pool bar - sounded great. Well. It wasn’t. Lazy river opened at 2 pm. They had a breakfast for $12 which was ridiculous. Free everywhere else. No lunch on the premises. A Mexican restaurant with a bar opened at 4 pm. So no bar Monday - Thursday until 4. The “pool” bar (not af the pool) says they open at 11 Thursday-Sunday. No. 2 pm. Thursday I went at 11. No signage indicating they open at 2. We kept going back and it was open at 2. Got our drink. yay! Ordered lunch. Few minutes later we were told no lunch until 3. Why???????? So we went to the “gift shop” - hours 8am-midnight to get SOMETHING. Sign said “be back soon”. Waited 20 minutes. No one came. Went back to the bar and they said we could order an appetizer. So we did. The rooms are huge. But no table other than a small round table holding a lamp. No dressers. Just a large TV stand with a cubby. I suppose I was fine for a place to sleep, but definitely DEFINITELY not a vacation spot. We instacarted a margarita wine, so we could have a vacation. Uber eats so we could have something other than a mediocre Mexican meal every day. It was just bad. No ambiance. No fun. The lazy river was nice, but open at 2? So much didn’t make sense. Stay at Caribe royale. And order their Miami Vice drink. You’ll love it!!!

Right off the overpass so it was really convenient. Comfortable beds and pleasant staff. I loved that I was allowed to bring my dog in and that my kids could swim. We will certainly be back in the future!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely rude management team, I was over charged for a night.
This team is exceptionally rude. I called to inquire about a charge and the manager was extremely rude to me I have been charged incorrectly in the amount of about $150. and all the management team at the hotel wants to do is a argue with me. Secondly the restaurant was disgusting. I got the tacos and they were horrible. Thirdly the life Guard team opened the lazy river and closed it any time the wanted to. This is not guest service and i will continue up the ladder until this is resolved.

The rooms were clean! Check in was a super quick process. The staff was very friendly. The pools looked amazing even though we did not go into them. 3 pools and a lazy river!! Would definitely stay again!!
Be the first to ReplyVery good hotel, enjoyed our stay
Enjoyed our two week stay, staff very friendly and helpful, room very clean, modern and comfortable, pool area and lazy river very nice, free coffee in the mornings a nice touch. Close to the theme parks. Would recommend for families no hesitation.
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel ruined our vacation
The first day of our trip we arrived two hours early after a long drive to be informed by the unfriendly clerk that we had to wait until 4 p.m. on the dot to check in. While you’re standing in line to check in, they have an employee on standby that is going to harass you about signing up to attend a timeshare presentation in exchange for a free meal. Since we couldn’t check in a little early, we waited by the pool. Upon checking in and getting to our room, we were welcomed by the overwhelming odor of cat urine. When we brought this issue up to the housekeeper, they dismissed the smell as old wet clothes from the previous guest as if I don’t know what cat urine smells like. Nothing was done about the smell. If the room was kept above 72 degrees, the smell would make you nauseous. As if that wasn’t enough, the hotel is in a horrible area. There was a constant presence of homeless people loitering in the parking lot and around the hotel. Several times during our stay we would see guests or whoever standing outside the lobby door smoking weed. More than once after walking out into the hallway, the smell of marijuana was so strong it would knock you down. I’m sitting here having to watch my vehicle out the window of my room while I write this review because the hotel “security” is useless. Last night a group of thugs vandalized and burglarized several vehicles in the hotel parking lot. The hotel claims to have “security and cameras” however that means nothing if they don’t watch the cameras or the parking lot. Vehicles were literally broken into right in front of the front lobby and apparently no one saw or heard a thing. My truck was one of the vehicles broken into. When I asked to speak to the hotel manager, Denis Persaud, about the incident, I was told he was too busy to talk to me and that I, as a paying guest, have to email him for an appointment. I sent Denis an email requesting an appointment and he didn’t even have the decency or professionalism to address my concerns in person. All I got was a halfhearted email that basically said “So sorry, your problem, not ours”. After talking with the sheriff’s office, I learned this type of crime is not rare in this trash can of an area. I understand there is no guarantee that a vehicle won’t be burglarized. My issue is the hotel’s lack of security and how poorly they handled the situation. Their attitude was completely dismissive and unhelpful. I would highly advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs. It’s not what it’s advertised to be. This is absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and I can’t believe I paid money for this monumental disappointment.

We stayed 3 nights there, for the money we paid we can’t complain. Everything in the room was clean except for some mold in the bathroom shower. The Mexican restaurant/ bar was ok. The bartender was very slow the waitress ended up going behind the bar to make their own drinks. But we’ll go back
Be the first to ReplyFor sleep sake, please stay elsewhere!
We were sleeping and heard a wet dry vac around 11:00pm. There as a man using a wet/dry vac outside our room. They also used a floor polisher which was loud too! I called the front desk twice with no results. I went to the lobby and spoke with them. They called security and still nothing. I asked for the manager to call me three times and that did not happen the next day. I was told there was no manager on duty. Over an hour later, the man finished the floor. Isn’t a hotel for sleeping at night? Why would they do this? Why wouldn’t they treat a paying customer with respect? This is not ok… just pay less or more and try to find something better or at least a company that appreciates your business. Really sad… See attached pictures displaying the grime in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting.
Be the first to ReplyIt's all about location
When we arrived the hotel had minor issues for us, but may be big to others. 1) There was a giant hairball by the trash can. 2) There was a stain on one comforter and hair on the inside, which we went to the front desk & they sent someone to change it. 3) We we're missing the black bag with extra bedding. 4) Tub spout was not flush against wall. 5) Tub drained slowly. 6) Main bathroom sink drain stop (top) was broken. 7) Fan was filthy. 8) AC unit was extremely dirty. (Note: I have allergen induced asthma, so we thoroughly clean these every hotel we go to.) 9) Our room had a noticeable slant on the floor toward the window. 10) Safe was not functioning. 11) Water was a bit funky, so we bought water to brush our teeth. 12) Normal staining on carpet floor. 13) No coffee maker, but coffee available in the lobby for free until 11 a.m.
Outside the room 1) Occasional weed smoker around the outside of hotel, daily occurrence. 2) On 4/3 the lazy River was closed at 5 p.m. with no sign saying if they were on break. 3) On 4/6 the life guard by the lazy river was on his phone and looked up at surroundings every few minutes. He was joined by 2 other male employees and they were cursing (not excessively, but enough to be heard and small children were around). 4)Gift shop attendant was hit and miss throughout our stay.
Staff: When we arrived it was 10:30/11 p.m. and it was very busy. The front desk phone was ringing, every time they would finish one call another came in. They were fixing problems at the counter and being helpful, but initial contact was abrupt. When guided to take a breath & showing understanding they were overwhelmed it helped the agent to recompose and be friendly again. The front desk was very helpful during our stay and friendly throughout.
General: The hotel is on a very busy street. You need to be smart and adaptable. Don't force yourself to the left. Drive straight and use the shell gas station to turn around or turn right at light and get to the left to u turn. A lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. A convenient location to Orlando, Tampa, Titusville, and Kenansville (everything within 40-60 minutes away). We were on the 7th floor and it was quiet. Room had plenty of lighting, charging ports, and Uber soft pillows. Bed was a mix of soft and firm. Basketball court and tennis courts were nice and the front desk has everything available. We peeked at the small gym but didn't use it. They also had a decent size laundry room. Overall a good place to clean up and sleep after a long day of excursions.
Great stay
We arrived an hour early and they were able to find us a room to check in. Everything went smoothly and check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. We sat outside by the pool every day. There were plenty of empty chairs around the pool. We enjoyed the lazy river and the slide. I will say that the lazy river was closed the first three days of our six day stay. The Mexican restaurant was serving breakfast, but the price seemed high so we didn't try it. We used the laundry room as well and everything was fine. Great hotel for the price.

This is a reasonably-priced hotel with very clean rooms. The pool and lazy river are a plus. The Front Desk staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is actually located on US 192 in Kissimmee, not in Lake Buena Vista.
Be the first to ReplyLoud Howling Dog, Poor Front Desk Service.
I am currently staying at this hotel in a 1st floor room. My husband and I were woken out of a dead sleep this morning due to a howling/barking dog next door. I called the front office and was told that dogs cannot be left unattended and that they would take care of it and get back to me. Almost two hours later, I have not received a call back. In the meantime, the dog is continuing to howl/bark. (We have recorded numerous videos.) I keep calling the front desk and no one is picking up. If you are looking for a halfway decent sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE.
Be the first to ReplyCleanest room I've had for YEARS
Great room. Something between a hotel and a resort. Breakfast was not included. Big parking lot, but likely you'll have inconveniently to park on the opposite side of the hotel and attached restaurant - as I did, which is why I gave it a 4 dot not a 5 dot rating. The most noteworthy thing was the incredible cleanliness of the room. It was astonishing! I haven't experienced that level of superior housekeeping in a very very long time. I hope the management staff recognizes the work they do.
Be the first to ReplyThe room was nice bu ...
Okay, there are some bad reviews about this place and I took a chance and found the room acceptable, But here are my comments.
1. When I checked in, they DEMANDED a $40 deposit on my Credit card. This room was prepaid through the Priceline system, and I doubled checked to make sure this was not stated anywhere. It is a small amount, and if they had put the standard hold on my card and said it was for incidentals, I most likely would not have thought twice about it, But this was in case I destroyed the room. Really? A $40 charge, not a hold, but an actual charge that they say WILL be refunded once they confirm that I have not caused damage to the room???? What the ... ??? I will have no problem revoking this with my Credit card company, but really, why should I have to? I attribuite this to really shaudy management and it is a strike againse this hotel.
2. Here are a list of minor issues that I may have overlooked if the financial demand had not been placed on me.
The room is sparse. Not a big deal but it did not feel comfortable. It had space, but a table and a couple of chairs would have gone a long way.
The internet is the worst that I have seen in years. 5 Mbps is just not up to par for today's standards.
Like others have said, there is a small office table, but my back was feeling broken after trying to get my work caught up. Again, substandard for the price of the room.
I like to watch my shows and they allow this, by connecting an HDMI cable from my laptop to the TV. The TV was big enough, but to connect my equipment to the TV, I had to move and stand on a chair and reach over a desk to, after 10 minutes of trying, I got the cable attached to the retracted back of the TV. Not a small feat for a 60-year-old and again, substandard for the price of the room. Most hotels either provide an easy access cable system on the business desk or use an app to let streaming. Here there was neither.
Once again, if the con for a 40 dollar "deposit" was not demanded, I most likely would have overlooked these things and at least would not have posted a review for a one night accommodation before my flight. I will update my review, when they realize, that a 60-year-old fella by himself, did not party-harty and destroy the room.
I doubt, from the front desk attitude, that I will even get a response, so I will suggest the Embassy Suites or the Hampton Inn as two other hotels I have stayed at that did not try to gouge me and offered polite friendly service.
Maybe this review will help the management better themselves, but from the attitude of the fron desk staff, I kind of doubt it.
I guess my take away is that this must have a reputation of being a party hotel so ... I will not be returning.
