I had holiday with my daughter at The Palms and Spa hotel for five days, Evertything worked well. Location (mid beach) was just perfect for us. Hotel was clean, rooms ok, staff very friendly and helpfull.

Beautiful Hotel on Miami Beach
Beautiful Hotel on the Miami Beach. Great beach with chair, food and drink service. Pool with Tiki bar. Everyone was so sweet and helpful which made this hotel so wonderful ! Perfect for a little weekend getaway!
🙂
Beautiful, nice and elegant hotel
The hotel is very nice and beautiful. The rooms are elegant and quite. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it if you are looking to enjoy the many attractions the hotel offers. My only complaint relates to a few valet guys, who were extremely rude.
We just got back from 4 days at the The Palms. What a wonderful experience. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and gave off a relaxing tropical vibe. The pool and beach areas are both amazing and the staff were very attentive and patient. We also loved the tiki bar. We had an ocean front room with a great view. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept great and could not hear noise from the hallway or any of the rooms around us. We would go back to this place in a heartbeat!
😍
Spring Break (for Adults)
Wonderful stay. Husband, wife, two adult children, a niece and a friend all enjoyed 5 days at The Palms and it was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious, the bar fun, the pool delightful and the beach sublime. We will be back!
Amazing hotel, with great amenities. The staff is always nice, helpful and made sure our family was enjoying the hotel. Pool was great! Tiki Bar at the swimming pool had delicious food. Service was amazing too. The staff at the beach was also nice!
🤮
Do not stay here if you want a relaxing experience
This is a HORRIBLE PLACE - DO NOT STAY HERE. They are lazy and make excuses. We booked this place because it looked beautiful and seems to have a private beach. But just because it rained a little in the morning - THEY SENT STAFF HOME AND THERE IS NO ONE TO GIVE YOU TOWELS / BEACH CHAIRS now that it's SUNNY. They charge a resort few of $40/day and then this is what you get and for everything you have to go find the manager and complain. I came for a relaxing vacation - not to argue and complain. We also didn't get the room we had reserved. We had booked an oceanfront king room, but they didn't have it when we checked in. It's not like we checked in late, it was just 5:30 pm (and check in starts at 4 pm). They offered different options and some freebies when you complain but that's not the experience you are coming for. You just want to relax by the pool / beach and not have to keep trying to find staff to solve problems. They are a hotel - they should know people come for couple days and not months! I can't wait around for the prefect weather to happen - but need to make the most of it and they should have suitable facilities available. FYI - THERE IS NO STORM JUST RAIN IN THE MORNING.

Mother/ Daughter last Spring Break
Wonderful trip and great memories made. This was my adult daughter’s last Spring Break and she wanted to spend it with me!! We had such fun and an entire long weekend of relaxation. It was truly amazing.
The service was excellent. We really liked the staff. Hotel grounds were clean and comfortable. Having private pool and beach areas with plenty of umbrellas and chairs was great. The food was very good, especially the breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean, quiet, with comfortable beds. the only thing we really did not like was the bathroom/toilet area with glass doors which woke up those sleeping when in use.
😍
Mother /Daughter trip to paradise!
Absolutely a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I sincerely didn’t want to leave! I will definitely return to the Palms hotel and spa! Love everything about it.
😒
Nice but not worth the money
The location of our room was near an exit so people were opening and closing the door very loudly. It sounded like someone was coins g into our room and it had my anxiety through the roof. Also the bathrooms are very small.
Overall I had a pleasant experience staying at the Palms Hotel. There was a business meeting there so upon checking in, it felt busy and business-y. The staff was amazing and the hotel was very clean. The food was very good. The fitness room was small but clean. Great access to the beach with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The elevators were extremely slow and crowded. An 18% gratuity is automatically added to EVERYthing which is annoying. But overall great stay and I would definitely be back!
Entire hotel is Amazingly clean and smells like heaven. Lush tropical landscaping and beautiful tile on the pool. beach area is amazing. I will stay here again. Rooms are so comfortable and beds are bliss.
I was expecting to come for a nice relaxing vacation. The bathroom was dirty, the elevator smelled like urine I was really horrified that this hotel had decent reviews. I had to leave after one day because the room felt so gross.

Amazing Brakfast and cordiality service from Elianny and her staff.

It waSpectacular breakfast at The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach. Surrounded by a warm environment and full of tropical vegetation; We were excellently served by Elianny Perez who with great cordiality and professionalism made us delicious recommendations and made us taste the delicacies that are served in the restaurant. The treatment of all the staff struck me because of their joy and their constant desire to provide good service.s an spectacular breakfast at The Palms Hotel .

Nice Place to Relax and Enjoy the Beach
We have not been back since COVID, and were wondering if things had changed. We just finished 5 days there and really had a good time. The staff were all upbeat, resourceful and very service oriented. All of them. Bellmen, Front Desk, Restaurant, Bars, Beach and Pool Team, and Housekeeping. The property is not overrun with corporate meetings. It is well maintained. Close enough to the action south of the property, yet quiet which was what we wanted. We'll be back.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 days prior to going to the Bahamas and couldn’t fault anything. The rooms, the staff, the service around the pool, it was all good. Very comfortable loungers around the pool with oversized towels. Everything was catered for and we will definitely make a return visit.
😍
Eleventh visit, can't wait for the twelfth!
What's there to add that I haven't in numerous reviews? This place is a hidden gem amid the bustle of Miami Beach, a private, calming oasis. None of the hustle and frenetic energy of most Miami Beach hotels. This is for those of us who want a soothing experience, although it's close enough to the Deco district and all that that it's worth venturing out once in a while. But for a homebase, this can't be beat. Service is excellent, food and drink options are stellar, surroundings and private beach are lovely. Rooms are good - I wouldn't say exceptional but we were hardly in our room except for sleeping. And the beds are very comfortable. I would suggest the superior ocean view rooms, as they are larger and have plenty of room for two people. We were last at the Palms in March of 2020, the week before everything shut down. For three years we have looked forward to returning, and from the moment we walked into that beautiful lobby, after being greeted like old friends by Carlos, the doorman, who remembered us, our expectations were exceeded in everyway. It was the same beautiful hotel we remembered, with many of the same faces - Vele at the bar, too, greeted us like family. There were some good upgrades from previous visits, especially the towel card situation. But mostly, it was almost (Almost!) like the last three years hadn't happened. We can't wait to return next year!

Delish and hard dried steak very noisy cannot talk.
The ambiance is great... very New York feeling...

This is an expensive steakhouse, and I really wouldn't
This is an expensive steakhouse, and I really wouldn't recommend coming here unless you really want a nice expensive steak (or great dessert). We came here for dinner with a small group, and we were able to get a reservation easily, which was very nice. Once at the table though, you were watched like a hawk, and several staff were always hovering a foot or two away from our table. Some people like that level of attentiveness, but we found it somewhat off-putting that you couldn't even look around at the decor without someone asking you what you wanted or being escorted to the restroom. The food was decent, but very expensive - a small sea bass filet was about $50. We ordered salads to start - I should've gotten the wedge, as the Caesar was very nondescript and the croutons were too big to eat. The fish was very delicious, but had a small portion, and they wouldn't substitute out the vegetables. Also, we ordered French fries for the table, but our waiters took them away before we were finished, even though we were still actively eating them. We had to hold onto our dessert plates once we got them to keep them from taking them away early! The dessert was the best part of the meal - the cheesecake and the key lime pie were both fabulous. And as mentioned, one person got a steak, which was perfectly cooked. They also seemed to have quite a bit of trouble splitting the bill - we wanted two checks, but it took a lot of back and forth to get it split.Overall, the food isn't bad, but it's more expensive than it's worth, and be sure to hang onto your plate if you're still eating!

The Palm - a stalwart in my life of eating - was my
The Palm - a stalwart in my life of eating - was my Father's favorite restaurant so we went to honor him on his Birthday yesterday. I was a little hesitant because of the sale to Landry's in 2020. Also, had never been to the one in North Miami so we gave it a whirl.Four to our party. Rez made and arrived to super friendly valet parking and greeted by the manager, Eric. Super accommodating with our preference of seating and sat us immediately (it's a smaller Palm than I'm used to and I loved the ambiance & coziness).Mariaj was our main host and shared the specials and her favorites on the menu. Menu has changed with a nice collection of Palm faves, more salads, seafood towers, the usual huge lobster (4lbs avail that night) plus interesting cuts like the Tomahawk, bone in filet and Lamb chops (which were amazing and pictured below). We started with the Calamari app and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were the size of my palm (hahaha). Calamari was tasty and cooked to perfection lightly dusted with flour with added cherry peppers and grilled lemon. Their wonderful breadbasket has assorted bread sticks, pumpernickel raisin and Italian breads.Katerina was one of Mariah's helpers and she made sure that we had anything we wanted and did it with such a nice smile and way about her.Let's talk main course:My Mother had the 4lb lobster broiled with EVOO and garlic and it was sweet and tender. Beautiful presentation. Mom likes to crack her own although bussers are available to crack at table side!Husband went for the NY Strip with a side of those amazing mushrooms. Honestly, they were so good I was eating them as a side! Strip was cooked to perfection as mid-rare and he was very happy with the beef quality.Daughter (age 20) decided on the Rib eye and she said it was so tender and cooked correct to temp. Her side was a lobster risotto and well there was none left so there is that!!Like I mentioned earlier I had the lamb that is sourced from Colorado and I felt like I was in Breckinridge that's how high the quality of the meat was. My side of asparagus was done aglio y olio and grilled just the way I like it - firm and flavorful! We decided on key lime pie and chocolate cake for dessert. My mom stated she liked this key lime pie BETTER than Joe's I was shocked! Daughter said one of the best chocolate layer cake she had had in a long time! The place started to hop as it got to 7 although it felt like we were eating at a family restaurant because of all the friendly staff and patrons! There is a bar to sit at as well as private dining options.Had the opportunity to meet the GM Peter and he was super down to earth and seemed genuinely interested on my feedback and his employees.4 of us and the bill was about $800. We were feeling self indulgent yesterday! The food was spectacular - they take Rez on Open Table.9650 E. I have always loved the palm.
It has been my favorite restaurant since I can remember. I haven't been in about 3 years so when I came back to Miami I made sure to stop by and boy do I regret it. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had here. Starting with the bread. It was all stale. Every single piece. When we explained that it was all stale the lady didn't even understand English and then just brought us a bread breakfast full of brown bread. We then ordered the tuna poke which had raisins, cashews, tuna and olives? Seemed like they had a bunch of random stuff in the kitchen and needed to complete a dish. Terrible combination of random stuff along with some extra stale crackers. By the time the steak came, it was cold. It wasn't cooked medium as asked for but it had been such a bad dinner already we didn't want to wait for it to be cooked again and brought back out so we proceeded to eat our well done steak. The icing on the cake was the carrot cake. If I'm being honest this is 100% the real reason why the Palm has always been my favorite. BUT, the one thing i thought they couldn't mess up because they don't make it in house, is the carrot cake. They managed to apparently start buying it elsewhere and it absolutely doesn't compare to how the cake used to be. It was mediocre at best. Overall, this was such a bad experience that I don't even think I'll ever come back to the palm again. Super disappointed.
🙂
Consistent meal and table service.
Nice wine selection. Always inviting atmoaphere.

I went there for Nova Scotia Lobster as I had a real yen
I went there for Nova Scotia Lobster as I had a real yen for live lobster. I ordered a 4 pounder, but I was very disappointed in both the quality of the lobster and the way it was cooked. The smaller sections of the claws were fairly tender, but the main body meat was very "chewy", and I just left most of it...although I should have brought it home for my outdoor cat "Callahan". The actual claws were very large, but mainly a fatty substance that did not have the consistency of the meat in the smaller claw sections. My side of hash browns were great, and my Oysters Rockefeller were just okay...nothing special. Perhaps I would have been better off ordering a steak, as my accompanying restaurant guest had ordered a Filet Mignon, which he described as being very good center cut.My past visits were always meeting up to my expectations. Perhaps my next visit will be more pleasing.
😍
This place is absolutely incredible.
I am normally not much of a steakhouse person but I was invited to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. I went on a Friday night. We had reservations for 8 pm. When we walked in the restaurant was dimly light and you can tell that it has a family feel because of all the decorations on the wall. There are family photos as well as little cartoons on the wall. When we got there we were seated right away. The waiter recommended that we try the chips instead of the bread and we agreed right away. It was amazing because we ate the chips with the creamed spinach and it was so good. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer both were delicious. We also shared the lobster bisque and the wedge. The bisque was amazing. It was served table side. At the bottom of the dish it had the fresh shredded lobster. They are not stingy with it either I had a bite of lobster on every single sip. Then we went for the main course. I ordered the chicken parmesan. It was amazing. I absolutely loved it. The presentation was awesome with fresh melted cheese on top, it had the perfect amount of sauce on it so that every single bite had sauce. The chicken was breaded perfectly and it was served nice and warm. I also had a taste of the filet, it was cooked to perfection and the sauces that it came with were amazing. For dessert we had the donut holes. They came with a raspberry sauce that gave it a sweet yet savory touch. I was full for almost two days after this meal, as you can tell we ate a lot but I would come back. The service was incredible and so was the food.
🤮
We went to the Palm in Miami and they had an off night.
Wedge salad was not the typical wedge so no quality control coming out of the kitchen. The lobster bisque was served lukewarm. The 4 lb lobster came out of the kitchen and we not cooked on one side and dried out on the other. The roe on one side was black and not cooked. In addition, one of the drinks we ordered from the bar was not mixed properly. Service was good but not special. I'm not running back here even though I am a loyal customer of the Palm in NYC.
🤮
It's hard to give a 1 Star review after being a loyal
It's hard to give a 1 Star review after being a loyal customer of Palm restaurants across the country for decades, but that is what the last visit to this restaurant represented. Here's the deal:1. Baked clams were totally dried out and burnt on the top due to being left in the broiler too long. Clams did not taste right and were kind of funky. This is one of my favorite Palm dishes so I was sad to send them back. Then, on the check they show a note that said something like "customer did not like the taste". How classless and annoying to print that on the bill. I have eaten these for years at various locations and even make them better myself at home using the Palm cookbook. It should have said "the kitchen had no clue how to prepare and cook this dish correctly." Better yet, should have had class and just taken it completely off the bill.2. Chicken Parmesan could have been great, but the chef turned it into charcoal leaving it in the broiler too long badly burning parts of the top. It was quite outrageous to serve a second burnt dish after I just sent back a previous burnt dish. I just gave up and ate around the burnt parts.3. Some wait staff are not well trained. I asked if they still served bread before the meal and they said no. Then I got a basket of bread but missing the typical Palm bread sticks package other tables did get. Some of the servers seem oblivious to the Palm heritage and traditions and could just as easily be working in a Denny's, with their disposition. Again, I just gave up. 4. They do not serve the traditional pickled vegetables that I have been used to at Palm restaurants. They didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked about it.5. Restrooms are very small which is understandable because the building seems old, but it is also not air conditioned and uncomfortably hot in the restroom. I wouldn't care about this if the rest of the food and service was on point, but unfortunately it wasn't close. The salad, water refill, and a really nice guy managing/working the bar, and the convenient Miami Beach location were the only highlights. I was carrying in and out a big bag I had to tend to, and the valet parking attendant didn't even try to help me navigate the stairs with it or help me get it in and out of the car.The Palm is a historical brand and amazing tradition for this country. It is really sad to see this restaurant dressing up to look the part, and sadly failing to deliver on so many levels. I hope someone with the passion and ability to improve this restaurant reads this, so they can somehow rise from the ashes they currently find themselves in, because inattentive staff in the kitchen thinks they have to incinerate what they put under the brolier. If it was even at average Palm standards,I would have already returned 2 or 3 times since this last meal. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth so to say and need a long break. They lost easy revenue.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel for 2 nights at the end of our Florida holiday. Lobby was very welcoming and always staff to greet you. Did find valet parking crazy price however but that’s the market. Room was lovely and quiet with what appeared good soundproofing. Upgraded to premium city view and that was lovely. Pool area and team there was great always beds no matter what time you rock up. Lovely tropical feel to the area. The walkway to beach again is perfect and exactly what we look for. Only issue really the cost of extending checkout by a couple of hours same price as my daily rate. Wouldn’t be as much of an issue if there was a facility to have a shower prior to leaving, never known that in a hotel to not have a facility for guests leaving late in the day to freshen up. Didn’t spoil it but just a strange aspect. Would definitely return if in the area again
Arrived at 10:00am after coming straight from the cruise port. I was able to get into my room at that time which was great. Headed to the beach and got a complimentary lounger with umbrella which was really nice. Food and drinks were served right to my chair- was tasty but expensive. Had a massage outdoors by the pool- this was great but there was a bit of outside noise (a little construction next door). Had room service for dinner, which again, was good but pricey. The next day, I laid by the pool. Lots of kids in the water which I didn't necessarily expect. Overall, it was great for a one-night stay and I'd go back.
We liked the stay very much & the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Especially Roshad at check-in and check-out. The hotel has a good location and is very quiet. It is also not far from the airport. We can only recommend the hotel.
😍
My favorite hotel experience so far!
I was booked her for an organization retreat. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. Every employee that I came across was friendly and helpful. The breakfast food at the restaurant and the Tiki Bar was delicious and healthier options are abundant. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, and the beach water is warm and gorgeous. My room was clean and so loved the efficiency of the lighting options. I didn’t want to leave, and I hope to come back soon!
Lovely venue for a wedding. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pool and beach clean and well maintained. Good location no need for a car if flying directly into South Beach. Lots in walking distance and at the resort.
We paid a lot of money for this hotel and did not feel it was good value for money at all. The pool was smaller than it looks on the website, the bedroom and beds were too small and generally everything was too expensive, especially the pool bar. However, it was very clean, and the staff were generally quite nice. It was also a bit too quiet for younger people (under 50).
Beautiful tropical garden and pool side. Peaceful for a vacation. Good for Sports and SPA. Variety of food was great. Location close to the beach and not far from the hotspots of Miami Beach, South Beach and Miami downtown was just perfect for us. The friendlyness of the staff was excellent. We loved staying there.
Nice Location Clear Clean and Safe hotel Gentle kind informative and helpful staff Small but lively rooms Food and Drinks are good Lobby are is nice The only issue we had was valet parking we needed to wait min 20-30 minutes to get our car
😍
I forgot how good this place was.
I had a delicious margarita, shrimp cocktail and the best steak in years. The filet was Perfectly cook, the creamed spinach was seasoned to perfection. My friends NY strip was perfect temperature. I stopped ordering NY strip many years ago and always order fillet to be on the save side. Congratulations Chef!!!Beautiful NY Cheesecake with salted Caramel. It is a hidden gem. It is one of my favorite traditions in Miami.
They don’t lie. This is a sanctuary. Worth every penny. Perfect Miami chaos escape for me and my wife. They were also really great with diversity (we are a same-sex couple) and were attentive with my wife’s food restriction (celiac/gluten-free). I can’t wait to come back!
😍
Lovely spot with great service
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Palms. The resort is beautiful, the employees go above and beyond to be helpful, there is great attention to detail. Restaurant serves good food, rooms are comfortable and the view from our oceanfront room was gorgeous. Great place to stay and hope to return.
🙂
Hotel and Grounds are Beautiful, room was disappointing
After an extensive search and having stayed in the area several times, we picked The Palms Hotel & Spa for the location and the beautiful grounds. We were surprised at how small the room was. There were many things in our room that were broken and things we didn't care for given the price we paid. The "do not disturb" button was broken, it didn't light up red or green to indicated whether we wanted housekeeping service or not. The tv's remote control volume button didn't work, the bathroom light switch stuck so it was hard to turn on and off. The tv turned off by itself several times while we were watching it. The ironing board legs were completely busted off the board. There is very little space in the bathroom for your toiletries and the shelf runs along the back of the toilet, which uncomfortable to sit back on. Now for the positives. The staff was friendly and attentive. The grounds were beautiful. We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant which were both excellent. The cocktails we ordered were made with high quality ingredients and were delicious. Access to the beach was steps away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. South Beach night life was a short uber ride away. Overall we loved the hotel, except for the room. It's unfortunate because I'm not sure if we'll choose this hotel again.
😒
Fine as well as well as you don't want to use the pool or beach

The rooms are a bit small but very nice. They are clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby area is nice and the staff (especially at the front desk) are courteous and helpful. The pool area and the beach are pretty much useless unless you are content to stand or walk around the whole time. There are not nearly enough chairs and, even if you make it outside at 8AM to reserve a chair, it is not possible to find 2 chairs together. There are no pool attendants so you have to be willing to carry one chair if you can find it from one side of the pool to the other to get two chairs together. We were able to get a pair one day because it started raining and most people left to go inside. We stayed, found a couple of chairs which, although wet were together. The rain stopped shortly and we felt like winners. We purposely came before spring break to minimize the possibility of crowded pool area but were very disappointed.
Room needed updating. Walls need painting and some attention to details. The handwash toilet is ridiculous and they should be replaced. The location is good but wish that there were more dining options nearby. The hotel restaurant is nice and food was great. Too bad they don't encourage diners to stay off their phones. It was disturbing to try to enjoy a fine dinner while listening to diners around you making phone calls.

Spring Break with Toddler
Amazing property where the pictures online are actually representative of the hotel. The pool and tiki bar are amazing and we had a lot of fun with our 3 year old. All the staff are really helpful and the food at breakfast and dinner is great.
poor experience at the Palms Miami!!
If you have small children beware.
My husband and I have stayed at the Palms on multiple occasions and had no issues.
We traveled in 2022 with a new addition to our family an infant baby.
3 weeks prior to arrival we requested a refrigerator and crib. when we arrived neither were available.
we were told we could keep our baby formula in the main refrigerator and when needed we could call and request
someone bring it. this is covid-19 concerns and you advise me that a stranger will handle my baby's formula!
Highly unacceptable. we kept the milk on ice over night and dumped it in the morning we spent extra money on
baby formula the whole trip just to ensure the safely of our Childs milk. the crib that was bought to our room
was dirty, unsanitized and hazardous. it was metal in frame with bolts and rusted screws sticking out, it had a
bumper on the rails that did not fit. I spent an hour sanitizing the crib with Lysol wipes we bought on the trip.
the dirt and rust cleaned off of this was disgusting , we expressed out disdain they bought another crib that was
in the same condition since I spent an hour cleaning it we kept the first one. we had extra baby sheets with us thankfully
so were able to make the crib. we did not rest comfortably the whole trip for 4 days we spent watching our baby sleep
to ensure he did not hit his head or touch any of the bolts sticking out it was a nightmare. we paid high price for an
ocean view suite that we couldn’t enjoy. when we checked out we spoke to a manager whom was pregnant, she expressed
her apologies and comped us 38 dollars for one day resort fee. we spent about 800 dollars on parking, spa, food
and drink during our stay and the best they could do was 38 dollars, we want them to change their services
and policy on making their hotel more hospitable for small children then some measly comp that is a slap in the
face to on going guest who stay often. we will never stay at the palms again it is unfortunate since the location
and grounds were good. Poor service and uncleanliness and hazardous for small child. Avoid spend your money else where!
