A hidden restaurant close to Pike Place Market that is indeed marked by a Pink Door. We arrived on a Saturday around 2pm and put our names in for a table. We waited about 30 minutes and were seated inside with a great view of the water. The service was a little slow - after we received a text that our table was ready and checked in with the hostess, we stood for about 5-10 minutes off to the side before anyone brought us to the table. We also had to wait a bit for someone to bring water to the table. We got the arancini and linguine alle vongole. The arancini were crispy on the outside and the inside was creamy and cheesy. The linguine was awesome - a large portion of pasta as well as clams. The clams were fresh tasting as well!
Good Enough
It’s a nice restaurant with unique design in the interior. We went there for lunch when they just opened so we got seated immediately. The view from our seats was great with the Great Wheel in the background. The staff were nice but I didn’t get that ‘happy to have you’ vibe I’ve had in other places that strives to give you a very pleasant experience dining with them. It seems like we the patrons are the ones that need to be grateful for having the opportunity to dine with them. It must be because it’s hard to get reservations with them especially for dinner when there are shows which must be great but I couldn’t speak of since we haven’t seen one. The food were good and well plated but we’ve had better Italian dishes in other places. The fish of the day was fresh and cooked right. They are bit pricey but it’s in the heart of touristy Pike Place so it is rightly so. Went there for the experience. I might try to come back just to see the night scene.
Gastronomic Five Star
The food was wonderful. Even though they bill there restaurant as Italion, we were able to get fantastic seafood. When in Rome must take advantage of the local seafood! It is a bit hard to find but worth the effort. Make a reservation if going during peak hours. Try to eat on the patio.
First, I want to say we've long adored The Pink Door.
We've been eating and drinking there for 38 years, making so many fond memories for my entire family. But a few weeks ago, we had a horrid experience that sadly has marred my Pink Door love affair and turned my adult pescatarian daughter competely off of shellfish for the foreseeable future. Consider this a warning - make sure the oysters you order are fresh before you pop them into your mouth! The manager gave us a sincere apology which I appreciated and comped us our other appetizer, a nice gesture, but my question is how can a shucker in a high-end establishment not notice when an oyster is so spoiled that you can actually smell the stink of it from across the table? You should've seen the server's face when she smelled it. We were all truly disgusted. And it wasn't the only one of that half dozen that was bad, just the only one that ended up in a mouth. My poor daughter. Those oysters should never have made it past the kitchen. We'll probably have dinner there again some time just because it makes me sad to think this might be the end of our long and fond patronage of the Pink Door, but we won't be ordering oysters there ever again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! The ambiance at pink door, esp in the back patio area is soooo nice. Lunch time with the sun light is the vibe. The food was really good! I enjoyed the salad, bolognese, and cioppino the best. Portions are quite small though. Seasonal risotto had barely any flavor. Prices are steep here but it is a fun experience when in Seattle! Make sure you take a picture with the pink door!

Wonderful food and ambience, was such a fun experience just trying to find this place! The arancini balls were on point and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I ever had!

I am so glad I picked this restaurant for dinner during our stay in Seattle. We walked by a group of people before opening time who said there was a line forming outside and they couldn't get in. We were glad we made a reservation. It was cool to see three different themes inside: two on the inside, and the patio outside. The food was very fresh and delicious. My favorite was obviously the house made pasta! I also had the best cocktail in my life here: "The Celery Made me do it." It was out of this world, and not what I expected. I spoke with a bartender weeks later and read the ingredients to them. Their response was, "they must have a great mixologist!" I agree, hope to return one day!
Wonderful as always! The Pink Door is my favorite
Wonderful as always! The Pink Door is my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Amazing cioppino and great wine list.
Excellent service, ambiance and music.
First time to visit Seattle and glad we picked Pink Door for our first restaurant.
I've wanted to try The Pink Door for a long time now since
I've wanted to try The Pink Door for a long time now since it's a Seattle mainstay. Of course, we had to take a picture at the popular entrance (the pink door). We were blown away by the interior of the restaurant which has a beautiful, bright section facing the waterfront. Definitely make a reservation far in advance as this spot is always packed. We started with the fresh northwest oysters with pink peppercorn balsamico ice. I love fresh oysters and the pink peppercorn pairing was phenomenal; really beautiful flavors throughout. We also got the pink door caesar which I highly recommend, though the portion is not huge. We got 4 different pastas and I have to say that the pappardelle al ragu bolognese was one of the best I've ever had. Really nice meat flavor without being too indulgent. The noodles were fresh and the perfect texture. The linguine alle vongole was packed with baby clams. We also got 2 of the seasonal pastas, one which was a spinach gnocchi and the other was an artichoke pasta. Both of these were good (especially the spinach gnocchi), but lacked in flavor compared to the pappardelle al ragu bolognese. Overall, wonderful dining experience at the Pink Door. Would definitely come back, especially for their pappardelle al ragu bolognese and evening entertainment.

I recently moved to the city and have been looking for restaurants to add to my go-to list and this is definitely one! Have been here twice for dinner already, once with a reservation and once without. I've wanted to try every dish on the menu (and I just might), but so far have had the Linguine Alle Vongole and Lasagna Pink Door. Both were sooo good, but honestly, the lasagna might be the best I've ever had. The ambience of the interior is lovely, and I highly recommend going on a night with live music! Will be back!
Great restaurant at Pike Place Market
We showed up two hours early for our reservation but they found us a table. We sat in the back of the restaurant next to the bandstand and it was great for us because we loved the live music. We had a beer and later a nice bottle of wine with dinner. We shared the small House Antipasto and it was very good. We both had the Cioppino Pink Door as our entrees. This was excellent. Great service. Reasonable prices. Enjoy!
Family lunch did not disappoint
We totally loved our lunch at the Pink Door. There were 6 of us dining - 4 adults and 2 children. We sat outside to eat. Highly recommend
One of the best meals in Seattle
This place is the real deal. The service is always great but the food is over the top. There is a reason The Pink Door is number one. The place is a little hard to find and getting reservations are tough but I can tell you it is worth the effort and wait. I had a roasted chicken and spring onion strata. It was one of the best meals you can get in Seattle. Keep up the great work. This was a business party of four with four different entrees and we all agreed the meal was amazing. Highly recommend!
Great find in Seattle!
Came here on July 5 in hopes to get a walk in. Came right when they had power outage but able to get a seat at the bar once it was back up less than 10 minutes later. Meal, ambiance, and bar staff(Scott, Matt and Zach(sp?)) were all great. Highly recommended. If you’re flexible with a small group (less than 4) then try a walk in with high probability of waiting. If you can’t be flexible then make a reservation.
Delicious Food .
The Pink Door in Seattle delights with its very good ambiance, exceptional Italian cuisine, and live entertainment, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The music would increase in volume when the artist was about to perform her lyric routine. Seafood was cooked to perfection. I am forever impressed with the incredible and professional service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Overall Good.
The Pink Door in Seattle delights with its vibrant ambiance, exceptional Italian cuisine, and live entertainment, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
Recommend for a nice Italian dinner
We made reservations 30 days out for a Saturday night to sit in the lounge. We were seated immediately upon arrival. They had a good wine selection, with half bottle choices! The tables are close together but not claustrophobic. The Arancini were small, cheesier than I have experienced but delicious!! The lasagna was good. The music would increase in volume when the artist was about to perform her aerial or lyric routine. During our dinner she performed twice for about 3-4 minutes each. She was amazing
This speakeasy behind the pink door provided all the vibes!
This speakeasy behind the pink door provided all the vibes! Great ambience even with live music playing, you're able to have a conversation with your party. Service team, on point! Super friendly and accommodating. We ordered a few dishes: Arancini - great crispy outside, melting cheese on the inside over this sauce with a little kick. Linguine alle vongole - loaded with a bunch of clams, cooked with panchetta. Frankly I thought this dish was a bit dry for my liking. I like to sop up a little of pasta sauce with bread. But there wasn't even a drop. I felt the panchette was overpowering and I couldn't really taste the clam flavor in the pasta. Sicilian fennel orange salad - big fan, I was happy the salad came after the linguine. Solid simple salad as orange and fennel are great together. Ordered the flourless chocolate cake with earl grey ice cream. Loved the ice cream flavor, wished it was colder as the chocolate cake was too warm. I would come back to maybe try other dishes.. or bring a date..
incredible atmosphere, like out of a movie.
great food & drinks, lively crowd, and stellar live entertainment. don't miss an opportunity to dine here!

Find the pink door down the alley! As you enter, you have to walk down the stairs to the dining area. FYI to anyone who needs accessible entrances. Not sure if there's an elevator. Got the Prosciutto and Burrata appetizer which was amazing- how can you go wrong with rustic toasted bread with prosciutto and burrata?! Then for entree I got the Lasagna Pink Door, which is popular item, but honestly too heavy for me alone to eat. Definitely share this because there isn't any other texture to it than the lasagna and sauce. It was very soft and melts in your mouth though.

Omg, i got the lasagna and it was like that moment at the end of ratatouille when the critic finally caves. The view, what a view to have by the port next to pikes place. Lucky to make it as a walk-in the servers more then happy to sit me and cater to any question i threw. Oh and if you love bread be careful!! Me and my guests had 3 orders of the house bread and olive oil; just wowed. Need i say anymore, worth the time, and definitely a recommendation anytime you come to Seattle.
Went to the pink door on an afternoon.
Luckily skipped the afternoon rush by picking the reservation time as 11.45pm. Being a vegetarian it did have a couple of options. We were seated right next to the window overlooking the water. The service was not particularly exceptional but satisfactory. We ordered the lasagna pink door which I must say was quite flavorful. Also, ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup which was disappointing. The tomato soup especially was something out of a tomato can. Surprisingly, the Tuscan fries with fried herbs was good. Although too much quantity for a side dish. The flash fried sage and garlic added a wonderful taste.

The Pink Door has delicious food and great service! Even though there wasn't any reservations, Taylor was able to get us at a table. The vibe of the restaurant was great and the performance was really good too. Our server, Stephanie, provided excellent service and was on top of everything. Additionally the food was really good. All the dishes we got and the dessert were delicious and very flavorful. During our stay in Seattle, this was the best restaurant we went to!
Pretty standard Italian food with great atmosphere.
Worth checking out if you're in the area
I've been wanting to go to the pink door for years now, and
I've been wanting to go to the pink door for years now, and I finally got to go this past weekend (!!). The experience was all I hoped for with live jazz music from local artists, delicious food and great friendly service. The waitress greeted us warmly and immediately asked if we had any food allergies or dietary restrictions which I appreciated. We ordered the prosciutto and burrata appetizer, complementary bread, rigatoni with meatballs, and the bolognese. The food was delicious. My partner thought the bolognese was the best he's ever had before! Sadly, I only got a picture of the appetizer. We thought the cost of food and the quantity was reasonably priced; each pasta dish being under $30. We were seated in the back area with views of the water but it can be a little loud. Reservations can only be made exactly 1-month in advance so I recommend setting a reminder to book online as soon as reservations open up. Date night or a special occasion, this place is on the top of my list for Italian restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
The pasta here is always made to perfection.
The quality of the pasta is better than most places in the area so you are paying for quality food here. The service is kind and fast. The ambiance is pretty. This restaurant has a great view of the pier and nice outside seating. This is a great place for a nice spring or summer date night. Watching sunsets while eating pasta here is a nice experience in Seattle.
the food was basic, no flavor.
I asked for a glass of water, but they gave me wine. My hubby asked for the manage, but they kicked us out.
Awesome meal, great servers, friendly and accommodating.
Not easy to find but worth the look. Our flight had been delayed and so we had to change our dinner reservation from 7:15 to 9:00. I emailed through Open Table and had a response (midair mind you) within ten minutes. We also had a Tarot reading with Kince before dinner. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Great fun! Our dinner was fantastic: Long rib (must try for meat eaters), Salmon and the "mushroom" pasta dish and ate family style. Everyone was happy! There wasn't a bit of disappointment. We will be back! Highly recommend.
The food and the ambience really made the night special.
I wish I had pictures to actually show you how amazing everything was.
Dinner at sunset
Wonderful meal to end trip in Seattle. The view at sunset is beautiful and aesthetic of the environment sets a great mood. Our starters included the arancini, fries, prosciutto and burrata with toasted ciabatta bread. The mains were rigatoni meatballs, linguine with baby clams, and the special of the night - salmon. The lemon tart at the end was delicious. We didn’t get our servers name but she was very attentive. Overall, 10/10 recommend this restaurant.
Splendid evening
Beautiful restaurant with good ambiance. The prices were reasonable and the service was top notch!!! The dishes were served on time! and for a few courses. Overall the restaurant stands out for its area.
Outstanding and memorable
This eatery has a well deserved good reputation for both the quality of good and service and its quirkyness. There are no signs outside the place - instead, you have to look for the unmarked pink door down an an alley. And to complicate things, the door isn't really pink - it's more of a salmon color. You do need a reservation and I understand there is a limit on how far in advance you can book. We were there for the rehearsal luncheon for our son's wedding, but we ordered from the regular menu. Be advised that this is not a cheap restaurant, but the food is outstanding. The menu is italian/mediterranean and ranges from ordinary spaghetti Bolognese to not exotic dishes. Our entire party were all pleased, but I have to save that the 'bronzini-style' white fish was fabulous. Service is professional and competent.
Awesome experience
Yes, amazing experience, not just lunch. Its great serviceand awesome food. especially the peach cobbler. If you can get in it is worth it.
Awesome experience
Yes, experience, not just dinner. We stumbled upon this gem and immediately got seating at 5 pm on a Tuesday. How lucky were we?! Eric was our server and just amazing - attentive and discussed the menu in detail because there were so many tantalizing choices. The food was phenomenal - well flavored and huge portions. Ambiance was romantic. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Definitely a must do on a trip to Seattle!
Outstanding!!!
This place is incredible in every single way. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients and preparation is incredible. This is a must visit place if you are in the area. I think they open reservations one month at a time. Getting a reservation is the toughest thing about this place.
Great service and awesome food
Great service and awesome food. A little hard to find it is literally a pink door down an alley with no signs. If you can get in it is worth it.
Excellent lunch
Just been for a delicious lunch!! Best food we have had in the USA since arriving 10 days ago! Restaurant is gorgeous with views of the water. Antipasti of the housecwas perfect with a half portion being big enough for 2. Dh had scallops and salad which were cooked to perfection and I had the papardelle ragu which was super delicious! Service was amazing with a lovely waiter and the pale ale was delicious and cold. Well worth the $117 ( Inc tax)
The Elusive Pink Door!
“If you see me walking down the street…walk on by. Walk on by.” Dionne Warwick After years of listening to @daphae11 implore us to try “The Pink Door”, we literally nearly “walk(ed) on by” it when we finally decided to visit during this trip to Seattle. As you can see from our picture, they aren’t much into exterior signage. I guess you’re either on a direct path here or you’re just gonna “walk on by” it. We’ve walked Post Alley many times before and I’m sure each of those times we thought nothing about that pink door on our way past it. There are at least two reasons why we concluded that they take the preparation of their Italian-American dishes pretty seriously. First, the Arancini, Rigatoni and Meatballs, and Linguine Vongole were each worth the time we spent in search of this elusive and mysterious pink door. Second, anyone notice the statement featured on their menu just below the Tuscan Fries & Fried Herbs? And I quote, “No, we do not have ketchup.” 🤣 The wood floors, and the stairs descending down into the restaurant from Post Alley up above, hinted that dimming the lights and adjusting the decor could transform the vibe here into one projecting a small, exclusive jazz club feel. Reservations are highly recommended, but we found their online waitlist very effective at getting us a table with minimal delay. And that’s…Henry’s Take. #pinkdoortreasures #pinkdoorseattle #postalleyrestsurants
Delicious
Absolutely delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and worth the wait for the reservation. The fresh pasta was incredible. The meatballs with just a slight hint of fennel were very good. The cauliflower “pate” was scrumptious. Highly recommend

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
