Fun find for Sunday brunch!
We stumbled upon this place and boy are we glad we did. The service and food were amazing. Camille, our waitress was a sweetheart. Burgers were highly praised, perfectly cooked. The eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes were delicious. But do NOT miss the Maracaibo Chocolate Mousse! Oh my gosh - worth every penny! The atmosphere is relaxing and they do not rush you!

We booked my daughter's wedding at TUSH on Dec 1st, 2023. I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience and we could not have been more pleased and impressed with their attention to detail and amazing customer service. Bri Haverhasl Sr Event Planner and Jordan Edwards Event Manager were both a complete pleasure to work with and took such great care of us. They truly treated us like family, and we cannot thank them enough. The service and wait staff the night of the event was top notch and extremely professional. We did not want for anything, and they catered to every need of our guests. On top of all that the food and crafted cocktails were some of the best I have ever experienced. Hats off to the chef, restaurant staff, Beverage Director and the bar staff. I have planned many an event in several different venues and I can honestly The Urban Stillhouse outshines any location both in the facility and in the staff that I have ever interacted with. I unequivocally recommend The Urban Stillhouse for any event you wish to plan or just for an amazing night on the town. Thanks again to Bri, Jordan and everyone at The Urban Stillhouse for a wedding my daughter, son in law, family and I will never forget.

Recently went to The Urban Stillhouse with my spouse and a friend for a celebratory dinner and overall this was a great night out. The first thing to make note of is the restaurant itself… absolutely magnificent space! I felt like I was at an apres ski party! All of the Christmas decorations were up and the place was buzzin’! It is a stunning space…impressive while still feeling cozy. We arrived about 30 minutes early for a Saturday night 7:15 p.m. reservation, so we ordered a drink at the bar. The bar seats are reserved, so we sat on some benches by the hostess stand while we waited. The bar design is actually really great… Typically, everyone is crammed up at a bar, squeezing in between patrons who are eating/drinking while trying to get the bartender’s attention, but this bar had a small “pull up” space intended for people to order their drinks and then find a spot to sit while they wait for their tables. It’s a small design detail, but definitely makes a difference! I ordered the Lavender Bee’s Knees cocktail…it was one of the best cocktails I have ever had – so refreshing and tasty! I was also super impressed with the speed that the bartenders made these drinks – they’re efficient and the drinks are good! Once we were seated, we ordered the following: • Bourbon Tasting • Spinach & Smoked Gouda Dip • Smoked Venison Tartare • Bone-In Bison Filet • Colorado Lamb Chops • Barolo Braised Wagyu Beef • Bombolini In terms of the appetizers, the Smoked Venison Tartare was good, but nothing special in terms of taste. The real star of the night was the Spinach & Smoked Gouda Dip – wow, wow, wow! If you go to Urban Stillhouse, there are two dishes that are a must-order and this is one of them. One of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten! For our mains, I ordered the Bone-In Bison Filet, my spouse ordered the Barolo Braised Wagyu Beef, and our friend ordered the Colorado Lamb Chops and we all had a bite of each one. The Bison Filet and the Wagyu Beef were tasty, but again, I would not say there was anything unique about either of them. The bison filet tasted like any other steak and the Wagyu Beef had great saucing but was a little dry. With that said, the Colorado Lamb Chops were out of this world…this is the 2nd MUST ORDER dish at Urban Stillhouse. The lamb chops were delicate and flavorful. The exact quote from my friend was “I want to stop eating, but I can’t.” Cannot speak more highly of this wonderful dish! We ordered the bombolini for dessert – the flavors were yummy, but the doughnuts themselves were a little dense. In terms of service, the restaurant works in a 2-server per table fashion. Our two servers were Trey and Tommy… we never actually met Tommy, but Trey was fantastic – very personable and came to the table at the right times, checking in often without being overbearing. Our hostess, Ari, was so sweet and friendly! She gave us the best recommendations of the night walking from the hostess stand to the table! She also made it a point to let the ladies in the group know where the bathroom was (because it was kind of a hike)…that’s going above and beyond, in my opinion! You have to prep the ladies for a bathroom run! In terms of parking, the restaurant offers complimentary valet – parking is a challenge in this part of town, so it’s a nice touch. My only compliant was the pace of the meal… In the reservation, they make very clear that for a party of (3), it is a two-hour seating. With that said, I felt very rushed throughout the meal. I will not blame the server for this, but the kitchen was bringing out dishes at a pace that definitely did not loan us the time to enjoy our appetizers and drinks. We had about half of our appetizers left on the table when our entrees came out, which was about 25 minutes into the meal overall, so we were tracking well on time and not dragging our feet to eat. We had to ask for the (2) appetizers that we ordered to be left on the table so that we could finish them, which led to us rushing all of the food because we didn’t want any of the meat to get cold. I ordered a bourbon flight and hadn’t had more than (3) sips before the entrees were out – there was barely any room at the table. We will return for the lamb chops, the gouda dip, and the atmosphere! It was a pricey night, but worth it for a special occasion.

The restaurant, in a light industrial district, has an impressive interior reminiscent of western, frontier lodges – large fireplace, massive beams, pleasant smokey fragrance. We choose the Peking Duck (good flavor, a minor challenge cutting it away from the bone), Lamb Chops (large serving, excellent flavor), Bone-In Bison Filet (tender, better flavor than beef), and Wagyu Beef (good but not as good as recent dinner in Tokyo). Despite being a Bourbon “forward” drink menu, there’s a good selection of wines. Service was prompt and friendly. It’s worth working to get a reservation.

From the start to the finish, this place is fantastic. The service from Trey was way over the top! Bill was top notch too. Then the cuisine, gold metals all the way. Even Joe, the GM paid us a visit to check in and see how our experience was. Very nice touch. Then Natalie in the gift shop was very personable and very detailed on her assistance. Simply lovely. Can't wait to come back! Love Urban Stillhouse

Surprised and disappointed to be, well, disappointed with our long awaited visit to Urban Stillhouse. First of all, the space is beautiful. Unfortunately, they don’t enforce the dress code they take pains to describe on their website. So cut-offs, flip-flops and sports jerseys looked out of place. My specialty cocktail was good, but my six companions received warm Martinis. No one got the bleu cheese olives requested on the first round. The starter was tasty. However, all six entrees were served lukewarm. That means my fish was already getting a little firm and rubbery. Also the dollup of butter on my friend’s bison didn’t melt. When you’re paying about $175 per person, none of these things should be issues!

I visited the restaurant a couple of times between late March and early April with different family members. They never disappoint; impeccable service, food presentation is beautiful and delish and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and authentic. It is my go to when i want to treat family to an amazing eating experience or for special celebrations. I would be remiss not to mention the Horse Soldier Bourbon. Try a flight!

Best restaurant in St. Pete by far. Atmosphere can't be beat, and whether you go for dinner or Sunday brunch the food is excellent! For dinner, the Colorado Lamb Chops or the Bone-in Bison Filet are heaven on a plate. As far as cocktails go, the house Old Fashion was the best I've had in a long time. The rest of our group tried a variety of other cocktails and no one was disappointed. Ladies, this is a GREAT place to take your man. It's truly one of the most impressive restaurants in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

Food was ok but not in keeping with the price point. Lamb chops were good size but nothing spectacular. Grouper was fair but I’ve had better in st Pete I’d return for the old fashions only

This meal experience got worse, the more we thought about it. We had come for a birthday celebration and were really looking forward to the food. Sorely disappointed. The best element was the veal meatball appetizer, tender, tasty, lovely. The beets in the arugula salad were under cooked and the edamame just odd. It got worse from there. The Maine scallops entre, broke the first rule of searing scallops. Don't then put them in a lump mass of spaghetti squash and some shredded pork that drowned them! Our other order was the crispy fried whole fish. It came out as a bizarre standing sculpture too small for the serving plate, with a coating so tough that it was like an entity in itself. The condition of our plates returning to the kitchen, would usually prompt someone to enquire about the quality of our meal. No one did. Apparently no one is really paying attention to what's coming out of the kitchen. Don't fall for the hype. While the industrial look and feel is quite attractive, the hard surfaces force you to shout across the table. No thank you!

The menu was fairly limited. We had 4 different entrees. They were are very tasty and properly cooked. The setting was quite pleasant and the service was good. My only complaint is that the restaurant was unpleasantly chilly.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Bourbon & Atmosphere.
Excellent atmosphere. Service was great! (Especially Jessica) I would not recommend the dry-aged Strip Steak, as it was tough & over-done. Jessica brought us the Lamb Chops in exchange, which were done perfectly and delicious. We had the Chocolate Mousse, which is one of the best I’ve ever had. Great time overall.

The total vibe was great. Our waiter Tom was extremely knowledgeable. Try the Horse Soldier Bourbon Tasting Flight and Central Perk cocktail
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Service, Ambience & Brunch!
Just a fantastic experience and worth the drive if you're anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area. One morning, I didn't have to show houses which as a a Realtor is rare. So on the spur of the moment, I looked to see if The Urban Stillhouse had an opening for brunch and it did/woo hoo! A small miracle as they are usually booked out weeks in advance. So many of my friends have been here and raved about it and once I went there, I understood why. From the moment you walk in and experience the cool ambience to the stellar and knowledgeable service, i was hooked. And then you try the craft cocktails & the food and now we are talking next level. The truffled egg salad on sourdough crostini is out of this world. And my Parpadelle with a mascarpone cream sauce and huge chunks of lobster was phenomenal. Again a huge thank you to our awesome bartender/server. He is fantastic and was very help navigating a menu where everything sounds delicious but sadly you need to narrow it down. If you plan to go, be sure to make reservations & definitely check on the store. Their Horse Soldier bourbon is very good. I highly recommend buying a bottle if you haven't tried it and like Bourbon. Also look up the very inspiring and brave story of the the Horse Soldiers Afghanistan and/or buy the book. So grateful they decide to make their dream venture happen in St Pete. Be prepared to go and spend a very pleasant few hours and thank me later;).

Came here for dinner while visiting our daughter. The menu is pretty varied and the food was great. the cocktails and spirits selection is very good and the service was top notch. Each member of our party was very happy with apps, mains and desserts.
Be the first to ReplySuperb dining experience, excellent service
Dined at Urban Stillhouse last night and every member of our party of six was delighted! Devyn provided excellent service and recommendations, in addition to just being a pleasure to talk with. The food and cocktail were excellent. I had the lamb chops which were delicious. (I would have liked some fresh vegetables on the plate in addition to the meat and potatoes. ) It is pretty pricey, so be prepared.
