Expensive but something a bit different as a one off.
Paid for four course meal only to be told that doesn't exist anymore and you get a glass of champagne instead of first course. Menu was limited compared to what we'd seen advertised, food however was pretty good. I had the carpaccio, chicken and cheesecake (small portion but very nice. Cocktails are expensive and less than average. You have to pay for side dishes...10 pounds for a small portion of chips as example so does add up. Entertainment was OK but seen better cabaret at Proud etc. Each act was pretty short. Ummm..overall ok but not going to go back.

partner and me had dinner (350£ for a table ) while watching a 1h30 show which was quite mediocre and vulgar. After that they rushed us to finish so they can start the "night club venue". Nevermind, we didn't take it bad and decided to dance and have fun, when suddenly the security guy without any reason, proof or motive at all decided to kick us out saying that my boyfriend had too many drinks! Worst experience ever, the whole service was terrible (besides of the girls who helped us finding a table), the drinks were served after we finished dinner , the lady who very rudely asked to take our coats and rushed us to move from the table, and the security team who just kick clients without any motive at all!! No help or consideration, rudeness, inappropriate staff behaviour, vulgar show and overpriced dinner is what you will receive if you go to this place

I would recommend Windmill a thousand times, I had an amazing experience since the dinner was delicious (Best risotto I've ever tasted), the presentations are really good and in the end the party vibe was amazing! It really is worth knowing. And finally, I need to mention that the employees are very kind and polite. Hope to return soon! Thanks, Bruna.

Awful service, rude bar staff- had to pour my own "bottomless prosecco".... Paid over £8 in service charge and was told it's not optional but that I HAD to pay it.

The shows are so varied and fun. The food was incredible, as an Italian I can say I’ve had the best truffle risotto here! Music after dinner was so groovy!

What a fabulous evening! Honestly can not wait to return, the whole experience is top notch, the only thing I could fault is that they do ram the tables in so some diners will not have a direct view to the stage however, nothing wrong with a bit of a swivel! We went on the early dinner and therefore had to leave to allow for the later sitting, next time I will definitely do that one as I didnt want to leave, I just wanted to stay and watch it all again.

Totally incredible experience from the moment you walk through the door! You feel like you’ve been transported back in time in the best way possible! The cabaret show is world class and the food is wonderful! All of the staff are incredibly attentive. A true VIP experience in the heart of soho

JUST WAOUH !!
Amazing show and the nightclub after diner was just what we needed amazing ! I WILL COME BACK FOR SURE
Good show - average food - terrible service!!!
Went for my friends birthday, 14 of us in total. Seating was very cramped. We had pre - ordered food and the waiters were just chucking the food down anywhere on the table. They didn't ask who had ordered what, one of our friends turned up late due to traffic and she didn't even get her main course. She found her starter on the other table, cold. She informed the waiter and he said he would get her main but then said the kitchen was closed and that someone must of eaten her food (didn't happen).
Show was good.
At the end the girl who didn't have a main politely advised that she wouldn't pay for this but we was told we had to pay the whole bill. The waiter then called security who was as confused as we was as to why he was there. The waiter even tried to block my friend from using the toliet as he thought she was going to run off. Most people had settled their bill at this point. The bill was short £10.50 (friends main) but they wasn't comrpismising so we paid and left. Bare in mind we had spent well over a *£1000 in that place.
Security was very polite and advised me to write a complaint.
We was all very polite and reasonable during this whole experience I would like to add. The waiter's were very rude. I myself work as a waitress and was appalled by how they spoke to us that evening.
I'm not saying racism was at play here but it would have been interesting to see how they would have treated us if the majority of us were white.
Amazing place
Brilliant experience- the food was wonderful, entertainment was really good & I would definitely go back for another special occasion.
The waiting staff were brilliant, very professional!

What better way to spend a Thursday evening with your best gal pal than at Windmill. 5* night, with great service, talented performers, an intimate setting, a relaxed ambiance - made it feel all the more luxurious and personal...oh and let’s not forget the spectacular array of cocktails.
We didn’t go on one of the days their club was open, but we did dine and the food was delicious. All in all it was a night out well spent, will definitely be going back there on a club night, because after all the dinner cocktails you’ll want to keep partying. Thank you to all the staff for keeping us entertained till closing.
Thank you David for the great Seevice and Ermias for those original and fabulous cocktails !
The biggest rip off ever. Its SO not a show. Spend your money somewhere else.
Wow. What a let down. I should say firstly that this is the second time I havw been here inside 3 months. The first time was shortly after it opened. We were a table of 10 and whilst it was expensive, we had fun and the show was excellent. Imagine the horror when we went again laat night, this time for our friends birthday and it was poor. Eye wateringly expensive and frankly without the show. I don't know how it can go downhill so quickly but it truly is not worth going to. Dinner was £109 per head with no sides! Literally a slab of steak and not even a chip! A 'side' of mash was £8!!
Now for the 'show'... oh wow. It was dire. There were very few acts, it didn't feel like a show at all. The best part of it all was the DJ. We are comfortable spending on an expensive dinner and show and especially in and around the west end but we all felt like we had been robbed. Nothing felt premium or like it warranted the extortionate price. We spent almost 200 per head for a very very sub standard dinner with a decent DJ and a few random circus acts thrown in. We were also rushed through our 'experience' and when we complained and asked if we could stay to watch the rest of the 'show' the staff reluctantly agreed but insisted we bought more drinks.
They then started packing up the tables and chairs around us! So premium!! Also, the soap in the toilets was tesco hand soap. I mean, if you want premium, go somewhere else. This place is horrific.
Oh and it was fireworks night. Not that you would have known. There was not a sparkler in sight.
I dont normally take to trip advisor but I feel its my responsibility to stop others being robbed.
Poor.
Abysmal bar service. There has been a myriad of times I’ve nearly walked out because of the rudeness. I have discussed on numerous occasions that if the bands weren’t so good and the pub wasn’t supporting the DIY scene I would NEVER drink in there. Particularly the barman with the long hair, who leaves snide remarks and can’t seem to even be bothered to be pleasant in the slightest. The service is usually slow and the bar is always understaffed. I really do question how anyone would manage to keep a job with that kind of appalling attitude.
