Max is verbally abusive towards women
I said I wouldn't leave a review if he just helped us leave but he couldn't even do that. Never in my entire life have I experienced such horrible service as I did tonight. The "owner" Max (as he called himself the owner) is one of the cruelest people I've ever met. It was our mothers birthday and he ruined it. Not only did they make me stand outside for 10 minutes before even acknowledging us, I was told that I don't deserve service because I'm (the customer) not understanding of how busy he is. He said I should be patient and more understanding even though our reservation was at 8:00 pm and it's 8:10 and we've been standing their like idiots. Keep in mind half the tables outside were empty, they weren't even full, they had multiple openings on OpenTable. I called ahead because my sister is anemic and gets cold easily and they said we could have a table inside. After waiting 10 minutes, Max said "this table is all we got either you take it or that's it, inside is booked the entire night". After we decided we're not going to dine here because they lied to us and couldn't accommodate my sister, I asked Max if he could tell the valet that he couldn't accommodate the reservation we made. He said "no you deserve to pay I don't like your attitude". Keep in mind this man claims he's the owner and he's telling me to pay for valet because they lied to us when we made the reservation and he didn't like my attitude. I don't think this man was the owner, I think he might've been related to the owner because I refuse to believe a restaurant owner would be screaming at 3 women. His personal feelings were being put forward. At this point I'm crying, my mothers birthday is ruined, my anemic sister is freezing outside and a grown man is screaming at us. After he finished screaming at us, he didn't even tell the valet to give us our cars, my mother was in tears and everyone was in shock. One of the guests that was dining outside stood up and came and apologized to us and said he saw the whole thing and it was unacceptable. Long story short we couldn't eat there because the so called "owner" was overwhelmed and didn't like us? I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. DO NOT GO HERE! If you have no other choice and you have to come here, don't go here as a woman alone. They like to verbally abuse women here. This place is a disgusting establishment. The fact that other customers came up to help us speaks for itself. I'm just happy we had witnesses there. I just wanted to leave this warning here incase any women were thinking about coming here alone. Be careful and beware of Max.

Fun and lively Greek restaurant. The staff here really really brings on the energy, great vibes. I've been to dinner here many times and every time I bring people, they always enjoy the experience. Food is delicious and always fun times with the music and pretty belly dancers. Best to describe Theía is- come for the food, stay for the party! BTW, they have a nice daily happy hour that ends at 7pm.
