As an american visiting Paris, the food and service were both exceptional. Fresh food with very unique spices! Highly recommended. The pastries at the end of the meal were a welcome homemade touch to the end of an amazing meal.

For more than 16 years we have been coming to timgad and it was always a pleasant experience untill our last visit in august 2014. I booked a table for 2 for dinner at 9:00 pm and was told to come at 9:30 instead of 9:00. I arrived 5 minutes before the appointment, i waited untill 10:00 to be seated. I was seated by the head waiter. The service was very bad, the restureant was over booked. I ordered harira soup as a starter. It arrived late, usually it is served with morrocan bread but it didnt this time. While i was drinking my soup a waiter came and asked me to move to another table because he said this table is booked. I told him i also have a reservation and the head waiter sat me here. He stood there and said if you dont mind. I was very upset, i moved to another table and all the people in the room realised what happend. The 2nd course came and i finished it quickly and asked for the bill and paid for it and then asked for head waiter to come and talk to me. He came after 15 minutes. I told him i am very upset with everything. It is very insulting. You are the one that seated me and you are the one that sent the waiter to move me. I told him will you do this to a french guest? Or is it because i am foreigner from the middle east? I mentioned that this has never happened to me before. To my surprise he answered will do it to any nationality. All our customers are the same. For me, i was very insulted and i want to share my experience with you all. Hope that the owners of the restureant will know about this incident and take action against the head waiter who was a very young man because, timgad was one of my favorite restureants in Paris.

Ambiance : this place is really cozy, charming and has personable service. I feel like I'm at a friends home rather than a business establishment. The restaurant is quant, charming and absolutely adorable ย Food: from what I hear it is basically the closest you can get to traditional Moroccan food. I've only been to a few Moroccan places and I can vouch and say everything that I tried was tasty and delicious. It is quite the cultural experience.I would recommend it for a date night or just to try a tasty, cozy spot. This spot is well worth. I'm excited for YOU to try it ย Anyone who gives this place a below 5 star rating should be in prison. Ok bye.
Be the first to ReplyMy family and I had a very good experience here for lunch.
My father-in-law is from Morocco and deemed all of the foods - from the appetizers, to the Tajines, to the mint tea - to be authentic. In particular I was impressed by their kefta and the lamb shoulder, which melted off of the bone. There was also a great variety of traditional Moroccan deserts (various small pastries) to choose from. I highly recommend pairing it with thรฉ ร la menthe! It's also hard to talk about this restaurant without bringing up the gorgeous hand carved wooden walls and ceilings. This is certainly a good spot for quiet family gatherings - the ambience was calm and perfect for conversation.

Authentic Moroccan comfort food with a fine dinning experience. They bring house starters to the table which is very nice. We took appetizer sampler which was so delicious. The Mergez was amazing. We took chicken with couscous and lamb tagine Falling off the bone, rich flavor, well seasoned. ย Massive portions. Meal is not complete until you have Moroccan mint tea. This is by far one of the best food experiences you can have anywhere. MUST try while iReservation highly recommended Very professional, excellent service , great Decor.

Fantastic food and ambience. Staff is very friendly and courteous. They only have their menu in French (wish they had it in English); but the staff helped us through the transition and we ended up having Tagine Chicken, Cuscous which we washed down with some delicious Moroccan mint tea. Please add a menu in English and have it posted in your web site

Made reservation through hotel concierge. Arrived promptly at appointed reservation time and found the owner arguing with a couple. We were ignored for at least 10-15 minutes before my girlfriend asked another employee if we could be seated. He kind of shrugged as the owner was arguing with this couple. Finally, the owner looked at us in an exasperated way and said follow me. He placed us next to a group of 3 people at a table for two next to a four top. When a waiter walked by we asked to be seated at a different table so That we could sit next to each other (after all Paris is for lovers). The waiter immediately said no. We then asked to see the owner. He came over, we requested a seating change, he said no, we walked.Too many good Moroccan restaurants in Paris for the owner to act like a turd.Hope they enjoyed the lost revenue.

Well, We entered the restaurants late night around 10:30 , with no reservation , but they managed to provide us a place, with such a heavy booking day.The hospitality was memorable, the ambiance awesomely colourful and beautiful...of-course its a fine dine upscale 3 michelin star restaurant, for they cover, welcome variety of 5 starters plates(Complementary)- each one just great! It is a exceptionally beautiful place.Just order one dish and you are done no matter how hungry you are, they keep serving you the bread/rice / curry / couscous. And they are quite generous while serving. The server will keep asking you for the refills. They do not have fix portion, its kind of all you can eat for each dish you ordered.Do not for get to save some space for their dessert platter, its a 3 level platter, good for a group of minimum 4 people, its loaded with delights, dry-fruits and other treats. Just so awesome.and enjoy the royal service! We had Chicken skewer, Moroccan vegetable over couscous. Also try their mint tea, best ever I had. :)

Best Moroccan restaurant in Paris! Excellent service and super nice ambiance. I would recommend having the Pastilla, squab/pigeon pie! It is truly superb, however, easy on the sugar on the top. Also very nice Tagines! Very memorable meal!
