Excellent Flavors & Quality Meal
We had excellent service and quality recommendations to their menu. The Wine List is exhaustive & the Sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. I wish I remembered our server's name as she was stellar.
Be the first to ReplyBest meal we have had in years!
Delicious food! Combinations of flavors like music to your palate!! Service was excellent. Drinks were great and prices very fair. Good portions and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience!
Our server was so very helpful in choosing the perfect wine with our dishes and he did not steer us wrong on the amazing plate options. There were 4 of us so we got to taste multiple options and they were all delicious!! The Nantes carrot salad and scallops were to die for....and I would highly recommend the tajarin with Tuscan white truffle. My only regret is that we didn't save room for dessert.

Came to Napa, long day of travelin light. Amazing service, great vibe, and the food was outstanding. Great introduction to California. Highly recommend the chicken with frittes baked right in.
Be the first to ReplyWorst customer service ever!
If I can give negative stars, I would. The manager is the worst person ever at customer service. They canceled our reservation just because we added an extra person. Instead of being KIND enough and add an extra chair, she decided to cancel the reservation and charge us $200. The owner was also present and was no help at all, just watched and just added fuel to the fire. This was supposed to be my best friend’s happy day celebrating her bachelorette party and when she said that this has never happened to her and she has traveled a lot, the owner’s answer was: well today is the day! That is not a way to run a business!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent but pricey
Everything here was excellent, it was our first stop for our week. When discussing with the locals, and our tourists after, every person mentioned how good it was. There was not a dish we didn't enjoy, we did wine pairings with every course, that got pricey. We were seated in front of the open kitchen, the chef came out to greet, and talk to us. Really enjoyed the place, but be prepared, it can get expensive quickly.

Get a steak for the table for an appetizer, so good! Everything was super fresh. Truffle grilled cheese sandwich was really good.
Be the first to ReplyMy favorite restaurant in Napa
Food is always outstanding. We all loved everything! Black Cod, pork chop, Maine scallops — was all fabulous. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food!
We went to Torc on our last night in Napa and had the best meal of our stay. I had risotto with roasted quail, my husband had the duo of two meats ( filet and short rib). Both dishes were exquisite! The presentation and the quality of the food was magnificent. The service was impeccable and the bill was completely reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Napa, you will not be disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyInventive dishes but not a balanced price to taste ratio
The atmosphere of TORC inside was upscale industrial - not overly elegant - and the parking lot back patio was a bit better although not suited for the prices of this restaurant. The food was pretty good - some standouts were the heirloom tomato salad and the pakora but more meh was the fish - it was slightly fishy and a bit overcooked. When my partner asked for fries instead of fingerlings they brought another plate and charged him $11 - really? You couldn’t put 10 fries on the plate and let it go? One of us got the hand cut tagliatelle with 7 very thin slices of white truffle. Honestly, we did it for a kick but NOT worth 62 (yes SIX TWO) for 3 oz of pasta with sauce. You know, shame on me for not looking closer at the menu but what was online and what was offered weren’t quite the same. I am happy to drop $$$ for a meal anytime, I just think this place seems to have a bit more self importance than I like. By the time the dessert menu came I just didn’t have the heart to even try anything

Wow! We had an outstanding experience at Torc.
We made a reservation several weeks in advance and were glad we did so. Our table was ready at the appointed time.
The atmosphere is cool—high ceilings, classy and modern, but with rock music. The music was noticeable but not too loud; we could easily hear each other converse at the table. It all worked in creating a fun vibe.
Service was outstanding throughout our meal: knowledgeable, fun, super-attentive, etc. We ordered lots of good to share and the sever did a great job of coursing things out and timing the dishes so the meal felt relaxed and made sense.
Very appealing menu; it’s an American, farm-to-table concept. The food was original without being overly conceptualized. Easy meal to share: the menu has a column of snacks, a nice mix of smaller and larger plates, and a long list of vegetables.
Our food was outstanding. All of it! Highlights were the salads and pastas…oh the pastas!
Definitely our best meal of those we had in downtown Napa. Highly recommended.
Amazingly delicious
We had a wonderful dinner for two recently. While it is fortunate for us the white truffles were in season and fresh on the menu, even the non truffle dishes were outstanding. It was amongst the best dinners I have ever eaten in my life, on par with Michelin starred restaurants. Outstanding quality across the menu. Oddly enough, it wasn't even that expensive compared to comparable restaurants. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am in Napa.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, easy going spot
We had a group of four dining here. Experience was good with masks required until seated. Was given a bag to place our mask in which was a nice touch. Pasta portions seemed smaller but good. I had the pork chop and it was very good. We ordered the truffle grilled cheese for the table and it was worth it. So tasty! Drinks were nice and service was decent. Our server seemed to be covering over half the restaurant so a second drink round never came to fruition. Would visit again and stick with the meat entrees due to size.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing 5 star service and great cocktails and dinner !
Amazing service and dinner. We had dinner for 4 , service was incredible. We had our main server however the other servers were also helping out. Each course was delicious and so were the cocktails. Between every course they changed out our silverware and plates and we had 4 different courses. Definitely a gem in Napa Valley !
Be the first to ReplyMaybe an off night
We have often eaten at Torc and always enjoy chef Sean’s delicious combinations of flavors. During these times of shortages of experienced staff we were very disappointed with staff that had an attitude, unpleasant and loud music and the less than outstanding food and surcharges such as $1.25 each for small olives in a martini. Hopefully just an off night.

We enjoyed the food and flavors of our meal at Torc, very much. Our waiter was terrific, the service great. We choose several wines, we really sampled everything from a few wines by the glass, to apps, a salad to the main to dessert to have the full Torc experience. Quite spendy to be sure, but worth it. When the bill came (more than $500) we were surprised to see a $3 charge for the mask one in our party politely asked for as he forgot his upon arrival. The hostess told him it was $3 (from a pack of 50 disposable masks anyone can purchase for 30 cents ea.) which we thought was crazy but we had no choice. When our big bill came we thought for sure they would not add that ridiculous mask charge to it as well, but they did. What an insult, and talk about poor customer service. Though Torc food is tasty this nickle and dime situation sure left a bad taste in all our mouths.

This was our first time at TORC and we all hope it will not be our last. We were a party of four and the only reservation we could snag was for 5:45 on the back "patio." The "patio" is really just a long concrete strip with 6 or 7 tables set up with space heaters. Although we were there on a mid summer night, the space heaters were certainly needed and did the job.
Our waiter was terrific with great knowledge of the menu. He was very friendly and anticipated our every need without being asked. We ordered a great bottle of Chardonnay from their list and they comped our corkage for the Cab we brought.
One of our party had a cocktail called, I think, a boulevardier. It was terrific and I highly recommend it for people who like manhattans or old fashions.
Three of our party had a pasta dish, Radiatori, that featured tomatoes that had been roasted for six hours and served with shaved black Australian truffles. I am not a vegetarian but this dish might convince me to become one. It was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever enjoyed. Our fourth member was still full from lunch and only had the corn soup. She raved about it and said she wanted to come back just to have it again.
In summary, the food and staff were absolutely top notch. While the back "patio" was not perfect, the food and service overcame our concerns. Next time we will try for inside dining.
