Yum! I think we tried almost everything on the menu and it was all impeccable and delicious. Very impressive presentation and flavors. The service was top notch. The ambiance was so cute with the beautiful decor - it felt cozy and hip.
Be the first to ReplyIn Miami for a bachelor party, we did the private room.
Great vibes, the service was A1 from our server Stephanie and the whole crew who kept bringing the food out announcing what it was, keeping us aware of some dietary restrictions. Vegetarian menu was also huge. All in all one of the best meals and experiences we have had
Be the first to ReplyHands down some of the best sushi I've ever had.
This place is so unique, a lot of the fish is imported from Japan. Also, the sushi options are very special and different from any sushi restaurant I've ever been to. The servers are very knowledgeable on the menu and you can tell that they are very happy and passionate about their job. Also, can we talk about the dessert, the fried milk is one of the best desserts I've ever eaten not even exaggerating. If you're thinking about trying this place absolutely do.

This place is SPECTACULAR! My husband and I moved from NYC two years ago, I'm originally from Miami and we honestly haven't had as delicious of a meal since living in Miami until tonight when we dined at Ushi. We had the wagyu on the hot rock, yellow tail with the orange segments, spicy tuna roll, pork belly, a short rib sushi or something alone those lines and their fried milk dessert. We walked in and got seated at the bar immediately it was amazing. The service was fast, friendly and the staff is all extremely knowledgeable. One of the sushi chefs remembered my husband and I from another sushi restaurant we used to frequent. What a small world. I can't praise this restaurant enough. I'm confident my husband and I will become regulars here.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was amazing.
From the drinks being super cute and super tasty to the food. Definitely would recommend having reservations. This is a spot you don't want to miss. Service was excellent. You have street parking options available due to the location in Wynwood.

Service took awhile, but the drink and the drink specials were good enough for me to come back. Excellent happy hour atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyHave been frequenting Uchi since it opened.
Unlike many Miami restaurants, Uchi never gets old and quality of food and service doesn't decline. Suzuki served us last night and his attention was excellent. I love this place!
Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal.
Incredible service and exceptional food. 5 stars plus. We're visiting from NY and thoroughly impressed. Must haves are the 72-hour short rib, foie gras and kinoko (king trumpet mushroom), hama chili, walu walu -- all to die for. Also, completely mouth watering were hamachi, namaohatate, sake nigiri. For dessert, do not miss the fried milk! We were blown away by the quality of the food, the art and the service! Avery and Paul took incredible care of us, recommending only the best of the best - thank you so much! Can't wait to come back.
Be the first to ReplyI LOVE Uchi! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
Everything on their menu is outstanding and you can take advantage of many of their delicious items during their daily happy hour starting at 5pm. I would recommend making making reservations especially if you want to go during the weekend. Run, don't walk to Uchi. You won't regret it.
Be the first to ReplyFood was really good.
Service was excellent.Ambiance was nice.I recommend this place to anyone. Def, coming back.
Be the first to ReplyWas a little bit disappointed in the spot.
Really expensive even tho it's located in wynwood. Staff and people aren't what would you expect from a high end restaurant . We picked chef selection ( DON'T DO IT) they charge you per item so it's better to pick your own stuff. The rest was cool.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible sushi quality.
Every item was delicious - even the non-sushi items. The short rib and the halibut were some of our favorites. If you like halibut, highly recommend ordering it. It comes in a very unique miso sauce and when you eat it, it just melts in your mouth. As far as cocktails go, the lychee cocktail didn't disappoint!
Be the first to ReplyMy trip to UCHI was one to remember.
Starting with great service, our server Dan was exceptionally caring and went out of his way to make our experience memorable. The interior decoration and ambiance was perfect for special occasions. What topped it off was the food. They made a custom menu for us based off of our price points and our likes and dislikes and each and every food item was on point. Everything a 9/10 at least. The non-alcoholic drinks and handcrafted cocktails were the icing on the cake. I definitely do recommend coming here and would come back every time I visit Miami if I could. Worth every dollar! Ask for Dan if you go for great service :).

Every Uchi has great service and love the freshness of their fish and creativity of their menu. Go during happy hour because they have happy hour deals and drinks ! Make reservations ! Order everything and share with the group.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was worth the hype.
I went on a Friday night around 930 pm and it was worth the wait. Everything was so good - the service was great, the sushi and fish was great, and the place was nice. I would definitely go back and recommend.
Be the first to ReplyLove Uchi! Sat at the bar with a gf catching up on life.
Ordered a few items off of HH. $8 vinho verde - Amazing! Light & refreshing! I even took a picture of the bottle it was so yummy! $12 akami makimono - (tuna cut roll) so delicious we ordered a second one. $11 Chicken Yaki - (2 skewers) must order especially if you're not too big into raw fish.& a few other item that were also good but not my fave.. Then we we're lucky enough to have a few dishes sent to us gratis! $22.5 Madai Crudo - This was the STAR of the meal! Omg so delicious that I contemplated asking for a spoon to slurp the leftover sauce! Salivating now thinking of it!! (Pictured) Thank you Uchi! See you soon!

The best sushi in Miami! Go for the happy hour (5-6:30) they have a lot of the popular menu items and drinks- the G&T is delish. Definitely order lots of different things and share. The salmon nigiri, crispy rice, and tuna roll were so simple yet tasty and fresh. The ambiance is cool and if you sit at the bar you can see the chefs making the food in front of you. Service was amazing- some of the best service I've had in Miami for sure. The host was welcoming, waiter was friendly and helpful with the menu, and food came at a reasonable pace. Can't wait to come back!

The décor, service, and especially food is absolutely fantastic at Uchi. I'm surprised it doesn't have at least one Michelin start. I'll be back the next time in Miami and will again go with the wonderful tasting menu.

I adored Uchi the first year or so it was open here (after loving the original in Austin, but it has since become the poster child for shrinkflation. The flavors are still unique with beautiful presentations, but the last two omakase I've had felt scammy. In the fall, 2 out of 7 courses were salads and the dessert was basic and tiny. For valentines, razor thin, low cost fish topped the nigiris, there was an inexplicable 45 minute gap in service mid way through, and what was marketed as the wagyu "ribeye" main was just 2 bites each of short rib. Considering you get 6 pounds of prime aged short rib for 70$ at wild fork, it's insulting and scammy to drop 200++ at Uchi and not leave anywhere close to full anymore. And management ignored feedback both of the last two subpar experiences. Obvious why Michelin didn't star them despite their innovative flavors and presentation.

Our service was exceptional and the ambiance here is fantastic. We will definitely return.I highly recommend the compressed mushroom with brown butter and the short rib sushi, funny how neither of these items are fish! But the fish was also terrific! Great place, will definitely return to try more of the menu.

Located at Wynwood area, this busy but delicious restaurant ,offers one of the most innovative japanese food in the area. You should try the omakase/chef tasting menu. We decided to ask only for seafood and pass beef dishes. The place is comfortable, sometimes a little noisy, but the food and the cocktails are so good that you forget about it.

I wish I could name all the dishes that I took pictures of but I would be lieing if I tried to even pronounce them lol! I made a reservation for a group of 8 and were seated right on time. They do happy hour from 5pm - 6:30. I just want to give a special shout out to the greatest waitress I have ever encountered at a restaurant. ZIGGY! No one at our table was able to order anything only due to indecisiveness because of the large menu that was presented. It seemed like Ziggy was just waiting for us to ask her what she recommended because as soon as we did, she just started asking us different questions of what we liked (taste wise, spicy, hot, twang, zest, citrus) and thats all she needed to know. She recommended the best dishes, everything was fresh, some had a kick and all tasted amazing. I would most definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommend!

Wonderful place all around, shout out especially to our waiter Jay who tended to all our dinning experience needs with a few laughs along the way. The service was phenomenal and the food exceptional. This is a great place to go with a large group so that you can try a lot of different things and share. A few of the dishes that stood out included the Waygu beef which is served raw and you cook on a hot stone, the flounder sliced thinly and decorated with lime zest and olive oil, and the sweet potato tempura. Leave room for dessert, the fried milk balls were out of this world!

Our sons gifted us with a pretty large gift card for a birthday to dine at Uchi because they were both big fans, and we were not disappointed. After being stuck in traffic we arrived a bit frazzled but were warmly welcomed at the host station and promptly shown to a lovely corner booth by the window. Rather than detail how great everything was let me just say WOW. Highlights were the Oysters with chili oil and crunchy shreds of sweet potato (we had to order 6 more and my wife isn't that much of an oyster fan, but these...Amazing "flowers" of Sea Bream and Asian pear in a citrusy sauce, Chicken thigh yakatori, best I've had since a teenage friend's Japanese mom used to make them for us for lunch! Of course the nigiri (Salmon and Tuna) were faultless and I could just go on and on. And most of these were on happy hour! (Daily 5-6:30PM) We both enjoyed the Hai Noon Old Fashions although my only quibble would be that the drinks and wine were pretty expensive ($19.00 per) although they do offer some happy hour specials. We don't have much left on our gift card but we can't wait to use it next time!
